We are looking for a group of dynamic, fun, imaginative, creative, artistic people to join our community design studio. You will be helping children and adults, unleash their creativity and get to grips with recycling and upcycling. No specific skills necessary, simply a positive approach, limitless enthusiasm and a knack for making volunteering fun and imaginative. Our workshop has a community cafe attached. Artists are very welcome to apply! We are a couple with two children, we used to be journalists, we drive an old London taxi as our family car, we were Londoners who moved to Morocco for several years, now we are back in the UK, we opened our workshop in November 2018. Our aim is to promote the reuse and recycling messages that we have collected on our travels and give people of all ages an outlet for their own unique creativity. We have hosted Workawayers many times and love the enthusiasm and cultural exchange the system provides. We promise to make your environment fun and vibrant and to offer you a great way to be part of a lively yet hard-working team that will make all the difference to the people in our community. We are happy to take couples travelling together.

We are located in the most beautiful part of the UK, near the historic city of Bath and the ancient site of Stonehenge. The team we are putting together is an artistic yet hard-working one that will buzz with positive energy.
Typical duties would include helping in the design workshop helping children and adults junk model, preparing creative kits, helping us make some incredible wall art. We are dedicating our time to introducing a stress-free creative space to this small town.
We rent a whole house for our workawayers to share. It is a few minutes away from our workshop and near all the amenities in town. Couples will get a private room, otherwise rooms are shared two people to a room. The house is simple but cosy, it has a large garden.
Wincanton is a lovely, traditionally English town which is on the border of Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire. It has all amenities, it is set in stunning countryside and it is just a short drive away from Stonehenge, Bath and the Dorset coast. We will have space for parking in case volunteers have their own cars, otherwise we can supply bicycles!
