We loved staying here and helping out on the Farm. We couldn't have asked for a better family to stay with and would gladly stay again if we ever revisit the island. Chris and Angela were so accommodating and I really respect what they are doing on the farm.

I had my first workaway experience at the farm and it was better than I expected. We really felt welcomed to Chris and Angela's home and had a great time. I had a lovely time at Angela & Chris’ home! It was my first workaway experience and it could not have been better!

Angela was taking her time off of her busy schedule to drop us off at some cool places so that we could explore the area. I really appreciate that. We also had bikes that we could use.

Our youngest farmer playing in dirt. We are not afraid to get dirty.
Our castle, our house. it is over 100 years old and a work in progress.
The barn we built last year. you can see our chickens, ducks and turkeys free range.
We do have pigs, they live out on the field and are happy rolling in mud.
No, Santa does not live with us, but this is us, well the picture cut some of us out.

Dear family Gilbert, thank you so much for staying with you. It has been our first workaway experience and the three weeks went by too fast. The tasks has always been so various. We watered the trees, cutted the grass, weeded the vegetable garden, organized the shed,... So we had many opportunites to learn new stuff daily. We were always able to

So where do I start? This was kind of my first workaway experience, and I think it couldn't be better. Angi and Chris were my knight in shining armour, because they rescued me out of a really bad workaway accommodation. They are a great loving family, with such a positive vibes, thoughtful, caring and definitely very welcoming. I loved every
… read more second of my stay and I was treated like part of family, and felt like their 5th kid. And even though I came alone from very far away I never felt lonely. They have gorgeous and sweet children, which I loved from the first second I met them as well as Kristin (the wonderful au pair). I spent my 19th birthday at the wonderful farm and I couldn't imagine how it could be better than their. I had the chance to do activities and check out Canada and wherever I needed help Chris and Angi were their for me. And then time flew by and my almost 4 week stay was over.
I already miss the whole family and love to come back because it already feels like my second home.
I had my own big room with a bathroom next to it. The house and the whole farm (especially the VEGETABLE garden) is beautiful and I loved the evenings that we spent together on the Dinnertable.
My work was mainly feeding the pics and chicken in the morning and evening, and water the trees on the farm. But I also loved to help Kristin and play with the kids or cooking and making some delicious food.
I send much love and kisses to everyone on the farm. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I had a great time during my stay on the farm (2,5 weeks). Angela, Chris and their four children have welcomed me cordially and I could gain a very good insight in the canadian family life. Christopher and Corinna are the best workawayers anyone can wish for. They are extremely organized, meticulous, quality oriented and hard working. We were baling over 12 acres of Hay in 2 1/2 hours and even our other farmer friends that helped noticed and commmented on their hard work and spirit. the most wonderful thing about them is that they

It was really nice to have Teresa stay with us. She did not shy away from any work we have given her and was a great house guest, very polite and helpful even in her "off work" time. She helped with a lot of jobs like cleaning out the chicken coop, collecting eggs, feed the chicken, put up deer fence, transplant seedlings out into the garden,
