Description
Hello! We are a couple currently working in healthcare technology in Madison, Wisconsin. Townsend did several Workaways in college, and we are looking to use our vacation time this year to do one together in preparation for a longer adventure.
Steven is originally from Oregon, and studied mechanical engineering in Colorado.
Townsend is from Alabama, and studied painting in Missouri. We both love board games, making things, the outdoors, hiking, running, good food, movies, meeting new people and trying new things!!!
We are both pretty good with most tools, and have farm experience. And we are really good at baking cakes! We look forward to meeting you!!

I have extensive experience in breeding and raising poultry, as well as caring for goats. I also have done a fair amount of vegetable farming. For two summers, I was a camp counselor at a sleepaway camp for girls ages 7-12, so I have experience in childcare and teaching art to children. I worked in retail for a year, and am a good cook. I am also very experienced in art, from sculpture to painting to digital, have taken classes on expository writing, and know how to code java, if any of these are useful to you.

My former bosses and WWOOF hosts have described me as hardworking and efficient! I love creating things, and will definitely be making some art during my free time if you'd like a crafting buddy. I also love backpacking (it's how I met my best friends!) and exploring nature, as well as swimming. Waterfalls are my favorite!
