Hello! My name is Irene, I’m 26 and I decided to approach the workaway experience because I think that this experience could improve my skills and especially my way of life. I would like to have a positive impact on society and the planet. I feel that getting to know new people and discovering different cultures is really important to be an open-minded person.
I graduated (master's degree) in interaction and experience design, it's like computer science, from the University of San Marino. Interaction design is to design graphic interface for any human-machine interaction. But I'm trying to realize my dream of working as a animator/motion designer! This unfortunately leads me to spend many hours in front of the computer but I love nature and animals so much! I also consider myself an excellent babysitter because I love playing with children, I love doing creative activities with them (such as drawing, making paper mache constructions and modelling clay), life is too good to be wasted in front of a mobile phone screen, especially if you are a child!
I'm used to working hard, especially if the work makes me feel useful. I'm a very determined person and I am always ready to step out of my comfort zone. Characteristically I'm a sunny person who likes to socialise.
Often in my spare time I like to paint or sculpt clay but I love new experiences, so if you have any interests, hobbies, or ideas, I am always down to try something new! I love music and studying its history, in particular I am passionate about the British music scene of the 60s-70s-80s, my bookshelf is full of books on the Swinging Sixties, punk and post-punk.

I am a creative person and over the years I have developed several skills.
I do different jobs as: babysitter, dogsitter (I took care of very old dogs), catsitter, secretary and hostesses for events. I also work for advertising agency as a motion and graphic designer and I am good with a camera so I could help you take some photos for your social profiles.
I love painting, sculpting and board games, and with these I can entertain and amuse children :)
