More details about your skills
I'm an artist specialising in illustration and textile print design, and I also work as a freelance workshop facilitator with various organisations and museums. I love teaching art to children—and sometimes adults—introducing them to different creative techniques. This work has really sparked my passion for sharing knowledge and connecting with others through creativity.
Alongside my artistic work, I’ve gained plenty of experience in retail and hospitality. I spent several years as a sales assistant, and also worked as a waitress in a busy café where I baked cakes, served customers, and kept things running smoothly. I currently volunteer as a cook for a charity in Bristol, UK, which provides meals to people experiencing homelessness. I truly enjoy working with others and being part of projects that give back to the community.
In 2023, I volunteered for three months in Hatay, Türkiye—an area deeply affected by an earthquake. I supported local children, many of whom were living in tents or refugee camps, by teaching art and English, playing sports, and organising community cleanups in nearby villages and forests. We also focused on environmental education, teaching the importance of keeping public spaces clean and cared for.
Most recently, I spent five months in Colombia working on agricultural and reforestation projects—including planting trees in the jungle! I also volunteered at an eco-village, where I helped build cob houses. I'm keen to continue developing my natural building and construction skills, and I’m excited to keep learning through hands-on projects around the world.Age
