Laura e Jack sono stati due worker molto bravi, ci hanno aiutato molto a raccogliere la legna nel bosco, il lavoro era pesante ma hanno sempre partecipato con grande attenzione e precisione. Sono stati molto rispettosi delle regole della nostra casa e abbiamo condiviso dei simpatici momenti assieme. Saranno sempre i benvenuti se vorranno tornare.

This is my first workaway and I felt so lucky that this place being my first volunteer. I am grateful that everyone I met here is so kind and nice. Not just the volunteer, but also the owner of the farm, the employees, and also the locals live nearby. It was a great opportunity to learn a lot of things. I really enjoyed pruning tomatoes. And the views here is like painting, so beautiful. I wanted to stay longer but I felt right to leave while everything is still at their best. I had the most beautiful encounter with the people I've met here. Thank you Burak, Berk, Murat, Nurat, Fidan, Steph, Dogu, Sarah, Leila, Damien, Ola, Joe, Anderson, Ali, Mahi, Camila, Tony, Darya, Rory, Hasan, Leila,Ahed, Rayan, Danil, Pranav, Yusun, Sarat...çok memnun oldum. sorry if i leave without saying goodbye to you, maybe one day we will meet again, who knows :D

My experience on Terceira was simply gorgeous, and for this I'm really grateful to Yasmin. She has been truly kind and showed me a lot of places to see and things to do on the island. Her cats are so adorable! I've never felt so free and relaxed like in those two weeks I was there... I felt like I couldn't think about any issues nor stressful things, but only enjoying my time there. I wish I'll get another chance like this. Again, thank you so much Yasmin!

It has been lovely to host Florian and Enoline. They have been very helpful in our house as well as in the garden. Also made good friends with our son :) they were very sweet and friendly. Thanks for sharing life with us!

I spent a wonderful week with Tan and Kik's family at the farm and it's one of the greatest memories of my trip! Tan is a hardworking and very smart person who is willing to teach you a lot about Thai culture, construction techniques and farming while Kik is an amazing cook !! Staying with this family taught me so many things and I got to learn so much more about Thai culture as well as sharing many good moments with the family and the volunteers In the span of a week, I got really attached to this amazing family : building the new toilets with Tan, cooking with Kik and sharing dishes from my culture, playing with Macon who became like a little brother to me, all those moments are memories that I will never forget !! I'm very grateful and thankful to them for hosting me in their home and making me feel so comfortable Hope to see you again some day !

I had such a great experience at Kristin and Steve's place! It turns out that I was the 109th Workawayer that they have hosted. They are pros at this! In everything from the communication before my trip, to a "household handbook", to the daily print-outs of that day's tasks: everything was so clearly laid out. Kristin and Steve are equally clear and direct in their verbal communications. I was particularly grateful to Kristin's expertise in showing/instructing me (a newbie gardener) how to do certain gardening techniques. I feel that I learned a lot (from a master organic gardener), even though I've just begun in my gardening journey. They are very kind and engaging hosts, and are both wonderful cooks. The setting (Peshastin) is lovely, and buses to nearby towns such as Leavenworth and Wenatchee are free, so when I was finished my daily duties, I had plenty of opportunity to hike. As a bonus, I got to look after their adorable 8-month old German Shepherd, Elsie. For anyone who is interested in living sustainably, this is a fantastic workaway!

Riku is a unik caring, lovely person to work with, his patience, warmth, dedication, and strong sense of responsibility have made a meaningful impact on our program, turning this cycle into a great success for our project. We are deeply grateful for her commitment and the care he has shown every day. He has earned the genuine and unconditional affection of the children—and ours as well. Riku will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

Edu & Berta! Son una pareja maravillosa, siempre dispuesta en ayudar con lo que sea, la cocina, la pintura, el plateado del café, etc. Son ambos trabajadores, con un buen corazon. Ademas han podido compartir unos momentos con mis hijas, Berta leyendoles cuentos, Edu jugando saltando en el trampoline jeje. Al final fuimos todos a la cascada del Cinco, fue muy agradable la salida.

Thank you for all your help. I truly appreciate everything you have done for us. I would be happy to recommend Korey to future hosts. He is a kind, friendly, and reliable person who was always willing to help my team whenever needed. We are grateful for his support and wish him all the best in his future travels and volunteering experiences.

Kaja was with us for 3 weeks and has been such an incredible help! She is skilled, independent, and always proactive. She quickly sees what needs to be done and goes for it. She has also been absolutely lovely to live with: easygoing, clean, helpful and discreet. We’ve had a wonderful experience with Kaja and sincerely hope she will come back again one day! Thank you so much, Kaja, for your amazing help, your energy, and everything you did during those 3 weeks!

Oksana is a very good cook; we enjoyed our meals all week, thank you very much.

Deva is a nice girl. She's good at teaching and good with kids. She's responsible and reliable, easy-going and adaptable. She's welcome back to stay with us anytime.

It was my first Workaway experience. I stayed two weeks and we did a lot of different things like building a shadow area, weeding, painting walls and improving the space. It's was nice having the possibility to switch between different activities. But some days were quite demanding in terms of effort and energy, so one has to be prepared for physical work. Fortunately I was not alone : I met to other amazing workawayers - Trixie and Joschi - and we formed a great team. I also discovered yoga and permaculture thanks to Francisca and I really liked it even though I was a total beginner.

It was such a pleasure to have Dorieke and Peter at Nimbu. A really lovely couple, always good and honest communication, great workers. They really held my back and managed the whole place together with our local staff when we were away. Peter did surf lessons, organized surf trips, managed the surfboardrental and was hands-on with everything that occured. Dorieke did Yoga-lessons, and was responsible for check-ins and guest communication. They both are massageists and can add their service to your activities, our guests loved it. I absolutely love this place. The past month in the mountains of Crete flew by so quickly. This village is surrounded by beautiful nature, stunning views and amazing people, it felt like a special experience from the beginning. All the lovely people I met here made me feel so welcome the day I arrived. The ceramics studio is very impressive and there is so much to learn about ceramics, Greek art and history. I especially enjoyed experimenting with different types of clay and trying out all the techniques. Noufris is very passionate about his art and, whenever he has the time, likes to share his knowledge and experience with others. He also always made sure that everyone was having a good time. I really appreciated the times when he showed us around the villages, took us to the city, the beach or to his favorite local tavernas. We also had enough time in the afternoons or on weekends to explore different parts of Crete. The island is full of beautiful hiking trails, nice beaches and cute little villages. But honestly, I also enjoyed staying in the little village during the weekend to spend time with Lotte and Eva (<3!) and to do ceramics all day long :)) One of my favorite things to do was sharing a good glass of (homemade!!) wine and listening to the sound of silence at night. I will never forget this. This is a truly unique and magical place, I wish I could stay longer. Thank you for everything!! <3

Serenna was very helpful all around the project, sometimes working on landscaping in the garden and sometimes doing construction or helping in the kitchen or doing yoga with the group. She was one of the friendliest people we've had here.

Falk was here for only two days, resting during his hike along the German-German-Border-Path, where we are living nearby. It was a very nice time we had together, exchanging stories,sawing wood for the winter, cleaning the house, cooking, and some more little help he gave us everywhere it was needed. Couldn’t have chosen a better first Workaway experience than staying with Paul and Julia. They are very caring people, with so much knowledge and life experience to soak up. Work days were spent working on a diverse range of projects, from gardening and weeding, to organising their (very large!) collection of antiques. I found the work very grounding, not overly strenuous, and good to keep my body and mind fit during the stay. Down time is plentiful, whether you choose to spend it alone in their lovely surrounding fields of the Dordogne, or with Paul, Julia, wonderful Pyrenean Mdm Plume, the six cats and your fellow workawayers. I had so much fun here, and am exceedingly grateful to Paul and Julia for having me at their home. I got to meet their friends, family, and felt very welcomed. Not to mention that we were fed like kings, and never got close to going hungry - also Julia AND Paul’s cooking were ridiculously wholesome and yummy.

I had an amazing time helping Annamé construct her house in the beautiful Chorillos valley near Samaipata. The work was though, but Annamé made sure we had enough free time and everything else we needed too. she is very considerate, respectful and just a wonderful human to work with. defo recommend going here.
