Joshua and Lucy were hard working, intelligent and worked well unsupervised. They constructed several additional garden beds, transplanted rosemary bushes, removed some invasive plants and both have some knowledge of computers. Joshua and Lucy were also good cooks and made a couple of nice meals as well as focaccia bread. Positive experience and recommend them.

Senait is a super amazing worker and person!! I had a great time with her ! She’s the only workawayer traveling without a phone!! That must say something :) She very motiva the d to work and motivates me to work also

Gianluca is my best Workaway ever!!! Never had such a greatest volunteer with the best will to help and the greatest attitude towards work and life!! If you are lucky to have him, you will not want him to ever go!! Host him!!

Was totally one of the most beautiful activities that i made! I spent 1 month and a few days more with this amaizing family and I need to say that I'm very happy for do It! The activities that i made with them was cook and clean, and I need to say that they are totally open for eat everything that you cook, make desserts with the girls was totally funny, they will be totally happy cooking with you. Was Elena's holidays during the time that i was there but the time that i spent with her i realize the amaizing women and mom that she is!, Is totally easy talk with her about any topic, she is very funny and likes to include you to do different activities. Mato is an amaizing dad!, very funny and you will enjoy to have conversations with him, i'm sure you will enjoy to know about the amaizing stories of his father!, and the beautiful girls!, they are the princess of the home, both are totally differents but that will make you have the most funny days, Snezhana is the oldest sister, she is super femenine and kind, she will totally enjoy to practice her make up with you, and of course join to you to do different activities, Olesia is the little one of the home, you need to be prepared with her because she have a lot energy! But that means that you will have a lot funny days with her, she likes to do different things and she loves to show you everything about the things she likes, If both trust in you they will give you a lot love they are totally adorable, trust me all days will be different with them, make new games and go to the park were our best activities together. The place is totally beautiful, if you like ride the bike go around to this beautiful places will be the best option!, you can take the train for go to different places, you won't have any problem to move one place to other. They totally made me feel part of their family thanks for everything!, i'm hopping back and see them again, they are a beautiful family that you will be so grateful to meet!!

Heather has to be one of the best hosts in all of France. On top of that, her home is something out of a fairytale. I am going to miss her and all of her animals so much! During my 2 weeks with Heather, I helped her take care of her 8 horses, 6+ cats, and wild magpie friend. They each have their own personalities but are all very sweet and loving, a testement to how well they are cared for. Heather asks for very minimal help and truly prioritizes workaway as a cultural exchange. I typically started my day around 10am with the horses (checking on hay, water, straw, grooming, and mucking out) and was done at lunch time. I am a beginner with working with horses and felt very comfortable working with hers since they are so gentle and well-behaved. Apart from that, I would sometimes help clean up in the kitchen and cook an occasional dinner. Heather is a fabulous chef and looooves cooking with fresh vegetables and herbs from her garden so be prepared for some of the freshest and most delicious cuisine if you have the chance to stay with her. Also, Heather has a wealth of knowledge to share about plants, animals, and her local villages. She recommended to me numerous walking trails nearby and was always inviting me along on fun excursions. I could go on and on about how special my two weeks was with Heather, but most importantly I'll say I always felt safe and welcomed in Heather's home; she is truly a gem on this site!

Asia y zach dos personas exelentes cocineros ufff cocinan súper rico tanto que me gusta cocinar pero esa semana con ellos estuve vip desde el desayuno hasta la cena ...tambn tienen mucha energía para ayudarte con las actividades.... gracias por ayudarme con las abejas gracias por todas las comidas gracias por su visita y nos volveremos a ver en canada o aquí en Colombia..poco a poco iremos preparando el suelo para el café y los demás cultivos con paciencia como la naturaleza salud con la miel que llevaron a Canadá nos vemos amigos 💙

Foi uma experiência muito gratificante ter o Sebastião e a Mari como voluntários aqui! Durante mais de 1 mês eles nos ajudaram ativamente no projeto com diversas atividades e também compartilharam com todos as experiências que vivenciaram nesta linda viagem que estão fazendo. Foi realmente um prazer poder contar com toda a energia positiva que eles carregam. A comunicação com todos da equipe foi muito boa. Você é sempre bem-vindo para visitar novamente!

Nina stayed with us for 2,5 weeks, helping around with cleaning, gardening, cooking. She is a good communicator (before arriving and while being here) and was very willing to do all kind of tasks that were needed. Sometimes her perfectionism was a little bit in the way but she has a humorous and wise way of reflecting on herself and the situation. I very much enjoyed having her around, being her calm self, and I loved sharing thoughts and experiences about life on this weird planet. Wishing you the best Nina, Barat misses all your loving attention, and you will always be welcome back on the puszta! Absolutely recommend you to other hosts!

Nic and Luke are that kind of people who make me love the Workaway experience. I usually have no expectations when new workaways are coming to my place, but in case I have had them, Nic and Luke would have way far surpassed them. They are a beautiful couple, funny, smart, generous, respectful, very mature and wise, and always ready to smile and share with us the best of them. I knew that they would only stay for a week, but after the first moments with them, I realized that only one week was going to be a very short time... Apart from being two lovely human beings, they helped me much more than I would ever dare ask of anyone... I have a very long hedge, more than 100 meters, and not very easy the access to it, and they were able to finish with all the task in the few days they were here. But it was not only a hard work, which it was since the sun was hitting specially hard these days; the amazing thing is that they did an incredible professional job, since they spent all the necessary time to eliminate the remains that remained between the branches, in order to avoid that in the near future the hedge could have damages and some parts died, due to those remains. I'm pretty sure that if I had ordered the task to a company specializing in cutting hedges, they would not have been as careful as Nic and Luke. Well, I could spend more time writing only good things about them, but I simply want to give this piece of advice to the possible hosts reading this: If you have the chance, host this beautiful couple, I can assure you that you won't regret it!

Sara is a great Person! We all had a wonderful time with her and enjoyed the time together very much... We can Highly recommend her to All the hosts out there! All the best to you! :)

I worked here April, the first month of the year that the business is back open. I already know it's going to be a big highlight out of all my travel. Aideen and Martin are wonderful, welcoming hosts and Nancy is a hilarious, creative delight to play with. I found the work to be very well coordinated - Martin explains everything clearly and patiently, has trust in us to steer things along ourselves and there was always something to do, even when customer flow was slow. I got to do a lot of work in the garden and learnt some cracker cake recipes. We all had a great sense of working as a team. I spent most of my spare time before and after work and on weekends exploring the island - the lack of fences means you can just wander up into the hills in any direction. Hence, after a whole month, I still felt like there was so much of the little island that I hadn't seen! I went camping every weekend, as wild camping is allowed, and found lots of beautiful spots. Other highlights included family dinners and card/board games, a day trip to Oban, and trying out Aideen's drumming classes! All in all a wonderful experience which I am already missing a lot. best of luck for the rest of the season, thank you for everything.

J'ai passé 3 semaines incroyables dans l'estancia. Luciano et Agustín sont accueillants et attentifs à ce que je ne manque de rien. C'était un mois calme donc j'ai eu beaucoup de temps pour découvrir les environs et cuisiner au feu de bois. Il n'y a pas d'électricité et peu de connexion internet mais le cadre est magnifique, je ne me lasse pas du paysage. La quinzaine de chevaux est gentille et bien traitée. Me quede 3 semanas en la estancia y me gusta mucho. Luciano y Agustin son muy simpaticos y hospedajes. Los paisajes son increibles, no me canse de observarlos. No hay electricidad y puede ser un poco frío pero el lugar vale la pena.

What a beautiful time I had at the school! Everyone was so welcoming and the kids were the most polite and helpful kids I have ever met! Always helping out to wash your clothes, shoes, room, plate and making sure you have bath water! I miss them and the school already and I have only been gone a couple days ! Volunteers stay on the school grounds with some staff and kids that board there so there is always someone to talk to and keep you company :) I had my own room and the school is also located outside of the little town Najja so it was very peaceful and quiet in the countryside. The food was always amazing and local, cooked on the open fire which amazed me! It is very basic, solar power during the day, squat outhouse toilets and bucket showers, but I honestly really enjoyed the simple life! I taught English to p5,p6 and p7 grades. There was an English curriculum book to teach out of and classes fun from 8am -4:30 with breaks in between ! I loved my stay and would go back in a heartbeat !! xoxoxo

This lovely family took me in last minute because I had troubles with a former Workaway experience on another location. I only stayed for 1 week, and I really wished I had more time to spend with them. Kathy is a kind hearted, warm person who always makes sure you are treated well. The work is really bearable and I had plenty of time to explore Vienna in my free time. I'm definitely coming back in the future:)

This was such a perfect first landing point for us in Panama. We helped out with so many tasks, building, painting, gardening, housework, cooking and hanging with their absolutely gorgeous wee man, Inti. No two days were the same, which was great! It was amazing being able to connect with all the people from different walks of life that went through and we've made some life long memories. We cannot thank you enough Carmen, Maxie and Inti for welcoming us into your home and family, we'll miss you all heaps and hopefully we can stay in touch! Much love ✌️ ❤️

Wow, my time flew by with Harry and Silvia! In the 2 weeks that I was here, I have managed to see some cool spots around Friesland, hosted and enjoyed 2 dinner parties, and made plenty of wonderful memories with other Silvia and other workawayers that I will cherish. This is all because they know how to be fantastic workaway hosts and they have the perfect system of work/fun/cultural exchange. So if you have an opportunity to be hosted by Harry and Silvia, consider yourself lucky because you will have a memorable time here. Heel hartelijk bedankt!

Sam visited our site several times and every time the interaction was really nice. He was interested, knowledgeable and willing to help and learn new things. I warmly recommend him as a WorkAwayer and looking forward to return the favor, one day.

I enjoyed my time at the Hostel. The location is great and the outside area is stunning. The tasks which had to be done in the 5 hour shift were clear and work is not to much. Verona is a great host and also flexible with the shifts if you have preferences. She also arranged my shifts so that I and another volunteer could go on trips together. But especially the other workawayers made my stay unforgettable.
