Description
We’re looking for volunteers with an education and teaching background to assist our school in the Northeast Vietnam. If you are a self-motivated individual with an interest in teaching, learning about indigenous cultures being involved with the community, then this is the placement for you!
Our school aims to help local students grow both in gaining a high level of English, traditional cultures and in life skills. The students here are very friendly and adorable, and they also like to communicate with the foreigners as well.
Our School is located in northeast , Vietnam, the province is home to a great number of historical and cultural relic sites, and three national special relic sites is the Na Hang Nature Reserve that is dubbed the on-land Ha Long Bay with green mountains, impressive caves and waterfalls and primitive forests, well-known for thousands of flora and fauna species.
As the home of 22 tribes (Tay, Dzao, Hmong, Pa Then....), the province is famous for two UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritages of Humanity, including Then - a type of performance combining literature, music and dance - of the Tay, Nung and Thai tribes,

- Relic Of Tan Trao
Tan Trao National Historical site is located in the southeast of Tuyen Quang, including 12 communes in the ATK in Son Duong and Yen Son districts. This is a large land border with two provinces Bac Kan and Thai Nguyen. Tan Trao is a mountainous area with thousands of dangerous relics, many caves, rich resources, beautiful scenery.
- Mac Citadel
Mac Citadel was built in the period from 1552 in the Mac Dynasty. It’s repaired at the beginning of the Nguyen Dynasty (XIX century) during the Le-Mac war. The Southern Dynasty (Le Trung Hung) led by Trinh Tung headed north capture Thang Long. Mac Mau Hop arrested and executed. The nobles and mandarins retreated to Cao Bang. To prevent the Le army, the Mac dynasty built a citadel on the banks of the Lo River. According to legend, the whole process of building takes only one night. Quan Mac also in a mountain land more than 50m called Tho Son (mountain land). The citadel was also a place of war between the Le dynasty and the Mac Dynasty for many years when the kings of Mac darted an attack from Cao Bang to Thang Long.
- Na Hang Ecotourism Area
Na Hang Eco tour Vietnam is located in the northern part of Tuyen Quang, 110km from the center of Tuyen Quang City. It has a total water surface of 8000 ha, through Na Hang and Lam Binh districts and the entire reservoir area of Tuyen Quang hydroelectricity. Optical.

About 150km from Hanoi and connected to the capital by Highway 2, it is easy to go to Tuyen Quang. From My Dinh bus station, there are regular routes to Tuyen Quang. Besides, it is possible to go to Tuyen Quang by car to Ha Giang in the evening. If using motorbike, go from Pham Van Dong to Noi Bai – Phuc Yen crossroad, turn to National Highway 2 to Phuc Yen, Vinh Yen and go straight on National Highway 2 via Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang.Projects involving children

Help
As an Education Assistant, you will provide your knowledge as an educator, share your experiences about the world, inspire children to learn and pursue further education. You will work directly with assigned teachers (including the host teacher), participate in activities both inside and outside the classroom, and be engaged with the community through intercultural events throughout the school year.
Each volunteer will be required to teach a maximum of 5 hours per day (- 8:00 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm) from Monday to Friday, leaving you weekends to explore surrounding areas.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed university degree or college diploma
- You’ll need to commit to a minimum of one month. A long term volunteer to be a priority
- Strong understanding of working with Primary and High School age students
- Be culturally sensitive and have an openness to learning about different cultures
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
According to Vietnam law recently, to do voluntary work, volunteers need to hold a business visa - DN1 visa (vietnam-visa.com/business-visa/) therefore we must sponsor for all volunteers by sending an invitation letter with permit and issued by Vietnam Immigration Department to get the business visa.Languages

Our school wishes to provide an opportunity for volunteers to learn and gain valuable skills. School's staff takes pride in being able to support their volunteers and ensure that their experience is rewarding for volunteers.
-Meals: We provide three meals per day, including a private kitchen with local, seasonal fresh food, fruits. We believe that the preparing meals together in the kitchen is a wonderful way of interacting with family members and friends, it creates life time memories
-Accommodation: Volunteers will stay at our school's guesthouse, the comfortable house has 6 bedrooms rooms located over 3 floors with 1 – 2 volunteers per room. Each floor has its own bathroom with western style facilities and hot showers. Fans and air-conditioning are available for comfort during the summer months and bed linen is provided so volunteers need only bring personal toiletries and towels.What else ...
