ITS CLAY TIME!!

Hello
I invite you to join building my clay house. My technique is cob mixing clay with pine needles.
We will be building the house walls and other walls with a few different techniques.
I live in San Mateo Río Hondo in the mountains of Oaxaca just next to the river.
The housing will be in a tent or a camper van.
It's important to know that I don't provide food. I'm sorry about that but I can't afford it.
But we have a great shared kitchen where we eat all together and share expenses.
** please arrive before 4 pm , plan ahead your trip and arrive as early as posible.
We aso do some gardening and carpenter works.
The town is very close walking and it's a beautiful place to hang out and meet the local culture.

la 3ra temporada!
El año pasado construimos con mas de 50 voluntarios una hermosa casa de tierra.
Fui una temporada increíble para disfrutar y aprender todos juntos.
La técnica es tipo COB o adobe.
Una mezcla de Tierra y hojas de pino es todo lo que se necesita para hacer paredes hermosas.
Este año vamos a comenzar otra casa nueva !!
Mi casa esta en San mateo rio hondo en oaxaca. Junto a un hermoso rio y en el bosque.
El pueblo de san mateo esta a 15 minutos caminando por el bosque ahy podrán hacer compras y conocer gente, comer algo tradicional y más!
San mateo es un hermoso pueblo turístico y tradicional de montaña.
El Hospedaje es una camper van y También Hay un terreno grande donde acampar con agua de manantial para tomar y junto al rio.
Importante:**
el voluntariado no incluye comida. Lo siento mucho pero mi economía no me permite apoyar con la comida.
Generalmente hacemos comida colectiva y compras colectivas.
Todo es muy barato en el pueblo.
**porfavor planea tu viaje bien y llega temprano para arreglarte un espacio de día y con calma. prefiero recibir personas antes de las 4 pm. -

The experience was amazing. A place where u can connect with not only other volunteers and the host but with the community of San Mateo as well! Coming with no experience in bioconstruction, I learned a lot about building with clay, carpentery and even cooking a bit. Would definitely recommend it here! Gracias Alexis
