    Description

We are a small family of 3 , Rebecca, Stacey and 2 year old Rowan . We are originally from the UK but NZ has been our home for
almost 13 years. We love our garden dearly but since our daughter Rowan has arrived, we don't have as much time to spend in it as we would like. We are looking for general help in the garden and house and/or entertaining Rowan so we can work in the garden too.

We have a small house with a self contained sleepout on 1/4 acre section in Luggate, a small village just outside of Wanaka. A great base to explore the beauty of the wider local area, and with a pub, small shop and coffee cart within a few minutes walk.

We started our journey in New Zealand as Workawayers and we absolutely loved it. We had experiences we never would have had a chance to do otherwise, tried our hand at new jobs, learned tips from the locals and best of all; met some life long friends. We always said that when we had the space of our own we would love to provide the same experience for other people.

    Help

We are looking for help with weeding, wood stacking, cutting the grass...etc. All things that come with garden maintenance and if time and skillset allow some landscaping/DIY projects. Weather dependent some house cleaning would be great instead.

    and/or

Keeping our 2 year old daughter Rowan entertained as we embark on tasks in the garden

We ask for 2 hours of help a day (per person) and two days off a week in exchange for accommodation and no food. Please note the days off are after the days worked. As the sleepout is self contained we find it easier for you to sort your own meals as our schedules mean we aren’t always around. We are open to discussing working longer days if you want to head off on trips etc

We live in Luggate, 10 mins from Wānaka. There is no public transport to Luggate, so a vehicle is a must. The village has a pub in walking distance and small general store. Lots of nice walks locally.
