Tuve una experiencia maravillosa como voluntaria con Steph y Gabriel durante 10 días. Son personas increíblemente lindas, tranquilas y amables que te hacen sentir bienvenida desde el primer momento. ​Mi tarea principal era encargarme del pequeño bar del hotel de 19:00 a 00:00 y regar las plantas! Fue un intercambio muy relajado que me permitió conversar con los huéspedes y, en ocasiones, apoyar con el registro de quienes llegaban tarde. El staff me explicó todo con mucha claridad, por lo que la dinámica fluyó a la perfección. Además, el voluntariado incluye un desayuno delicioso todos los días, lo cual es un gran plus para empezar bien la mañana. ​Como nómada digital, este lugar fue ideal para mí. El ambiente es tan tranquilo que pude cumplir con mis horas de trabajo personal sin problemas durante el día. Además, el staff del hotel es encantador; disfruté mucho las pláticas con Sergio, Mau y Teresita. ​Un detalle que nunca olvidaré fue mi segundo día en Granada: me enfermé y Steph tuvo el gesto tan noble de pedirle a Mau que me preparara una sopa para recuperarme. Ese nivel de hospitalidad y cuidado humano no tiene precio. ¡Recomiendo totalmente este lugar si buscas un intercambio relajado, con gente de gran corazón y un ambiente respetuoso! Muchas gracias por todo! Me encantó estar con ustedes y disfrutar de la hermosa ciudad de Granada. Gracias por apoyarme con el tour a Laguna de Apoyo. Lo disfruté mucho!

We had a great experience teaching English at Sarann's school. We felt very welcomed and appreciated a very organised teaching schedule. Sarann does everything to make his volonteers enjoy their stay including offering the best food and a very comfy accommodation at the school. Thanks again Sarann, we wish we could have stayed longer !!

staying with Craig and his family for one week was an amazing experience! He cooked really good food and we always had great conversations! He explained me how his Farm works, that was very informative and he took me on a drive while harvesting. Lexi and Henri tooked me to an food and Wine festival which was really awesome! Tanks for the great time!!!

We really enjoyed teaching English at Kasiet's English center. The kids are all very sweet and happy to learn. Perfect for someone who wants to experience real Kirghizistan and is ready to teach in automnomy. Thank you Kasiet!

I really enjoyed this unique experience to learn and do so much with bamboo! The building of a bridge in bamboo is no small task but there were other projects that I could contribute to and support the wider team. Ahmad and Rose are very welcoming, generous and kind people and you will feel part of the team here. The bamboo farm provides living arrangements for up to 5 women in a charming wooden Malaysian traditional house with all modern amenities. Langkawi is a dream island with calm beaches and lots of fun activities, depending on what you are after. A very human and lovely uzbek experience with Nasiba and all the kids whom I miss so much already 🥰 Nasiba is a strong and independent woman from whom anyone could learn ❤️

I find myself lucky for having met Leng. She is a genuinely kind person and we had lots of interesting conversations. She is very practical. Her help with the baby and in the kitchen was a blessing. I am sure we will meet each other again. Hugs!

We had a wonderful time with Liz and Chris. They welcomed us into their beautiful home with open arms, it really felt like a home away from home. With help from Chris we cleared leaves/twigs from their land to prevent bush fires - it was a satisfying and calming job. We then had the afternoons to explore the river on their kayaks with ginger the dog who was so much fun. We shared some really tasty dinners and had really interesting chats too. Thank you for making our first workaway experience so amazing!!

Amir's place was beautiful, very peaceful and ressourcing in the heart of the rain forest. I had a really good time there, Amir was very nice and took me and the other volunteers on some trips, to the night market and to his friend's place. At night we would either cook together and go to the local warung which was really nice, and then sometimes go out to a karaoke place. For me it was a good balance between chill time and experiences. There were no schedule for work, it was flexible depending on what needed done, I was helping with cleaning, animal care, some construction... I recommend if you ´re looking to experience life in rural Malaysia!

I spent just under a week with Penny and Steve and had an amazing time. They are so welcoming, and nake you feel immediately comfortable in their home. The outdoor work was enjoyable and left plenty of time to enjoy being on the farm! We shared lots of great meals and I relaly enjoyed chatting with them both. Thanks so much for having me, would recommend staying here to anyone!

I spent a week with Mike and Yelena and had an amazing time. They were so kind in picking me up from the station and welcoming me in to their home. The work in the garden was enjoyable and rewarding, and left plenty of time to relax and enjoy chatting with them and enjoying their incredible property. Yelena was kind enough to teach me to make sourdough bread and pickle vegetables, and we shared some great meals. Would recommend staying here to anyone.

Renée est une femme qui inspire la confiance et la sérénité. Elle a pu effectuer des travaux de protection de bois, de construction de coffret en bois, et du tressage à la corde. Thank you for this wonderful experience. Everyone was very friendly and open. Thank you for allowing me to see such a beautiful side of the country and culture kf Thailand. I enjoyed everyday in the school and Phayao. Everything was organized perfectly so there were no complications from the begin with. Thank you very much and hopefully see you soon.

Had the loveliest time everrrr at Akirah farm! I stayed 17 days ish and I already miss it so much. Suha and Millie are super welcoming and you can tell they've hosted volenteers for years. The beds are comfy, the climbing is AMAZING and the food is delicious. The other volunteers and I laughed a lot and spent hours playing card games. I loved learning about how Suha built the farm and the self suficient water system. It is truly a very special place. It came at the right time in my life and it's definitely switched up some wires in my brain hahahha! thank you thank you thank you Millie and Suha - two very good eggs ;) ❤️

Lily and Jack were a pleasure during the time they spent with us. They worked tirelessly on our LEAVES which were in abundance as we have so many trees. They made a huge difference clearing all from around the house to make it more fire proof, was such a help. Also we had great conversations and enjoyed their fabulous recipes that we shared. A great experience and we wish them well in their future travels.

Lale and Jakob joined as volunteers at in October 2025. Since the beginning of their engagement, they have consistently demonstrated a very positive attitude, strong initiative, and a genuine commitment to environmental conservation. During their time, they actively participated in a wide range of activities, including coral reef data collection, coral transplantation, beach clean-up initiatives, English classes for coastal children, and sustainable agriculture activities. In addition to fieldwork, they also contributed to data analysis and several other supporting program activities, showing both practical skills and analytical capacity. Lale and Jakob worked very well with the team and local community members. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and willingness to learn made them valuable contributors to our conservation and community programs. We truly appreciate their meaningful support and contribution. It is without hesitation that we highly recommend Lale and Jakob for future volunteer opportunities in conservation and community-based environmental programs.

Maraea was an exceptional Workawayer and we highly recommend her. Five stars plus! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✨💫 She completely transformed our garden during her stay. Her knowledge, experience and initiative were incredible, and she inspired us to move forward with our dream of landscaping the whole area. Maraea works hard, takes pride in what she does, and is able to work independently while also being great company to have around. I especially enjoyed the depth of our conversations while walking and talking together. She brought positive energy to our home and fitted in easily with our whānau. We are very grateful for everything she did here and would happily welcome her back anytime.

I received a warm welcome on arrival at the farm. My host, Vennela, made sure I had everything I needed and quickly helped me settle in. The room was simple and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Thanks to everything happening on the farm and Vennela’s flexibility, I was able to try many activities during my short three-week stay—from soap making and the jaggery process to tending organic vegetables and helping cook delicious, healthy local cuisine. Evenings spent relaxing under the trees were especially enjoyable. One of the women who works in the kitchen also taught me games she played while growing up in her village. Vennela was wonderful to talk with and learn from. She is generous in sharing her knowledge and always open to learning new things. You won’t find a kinder host. Thank you—I hope to return the next time I’m in India.

I would rate Aimee’s sanctuary as the best in Canada. From the cutes animals, to the coolest people, having fun while working, beautiful mountains all around, delicious dinners, so many learnings about caring for animals with special needs!! 12/10 I spent almost 2 months on Aimee’s farm, and it is safe to say.: I had an absolute blast :)) You’ll feel immediately at home, will laugh so much you are about to pee your pants and will be inspired by Aimee’s deep passion for animals. I can highly recommend Aimee as your next workaway host! Thank you, Aimee & everybody (two and four legs) for making this farm such a special place! I hope I’ll see you all again :)
