Description
Hello travelers 👋🏻
My name is Steph, 100% Nica 🇳🇮💙 — so, I speak Spanglish 😉. I practice yoga, I love playing poker, and I’m passionate about all things sports, especially fútbol ⚽️.
I own a hostel in Granada, Nicaragua — the most beautiful colonial city in Central America. I started this dream 8 years ago, and it’s been one of the best experiences of my life.
I'm very excited to share my hostel, projects, and daily duties with positive people who bring great vibes and fresh ideas to help make the hostel even better every day. Here we love connecting with our guests, and we’re always happy to welcome volunteers who enjoy creating a warm, homey atmosphere and offering fun daily activities.
Looking forward to meeting you! 🌞Types of help and learning opportunities

At our hostel, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to practice Spanish if you're a foreign speaker. And if you already speak Spanish, you can practice or learn a new language by connecting with our amazing guests and friendly team — made up of two local girls and 4 local guys who are part of our happy crew.
Connecting with guests is a great way to discover new cultures, experiences, and lifestyles. You’ll also get the chance to explore Granada from a truly local perspective and be part of our everyday Nicaraguan life.
Live like a local: shop at the nearby market just three blocks away, take a stroll to the lake (only a 15-minute walk from the hostel), and enjoy our hot 🌞 weather by discovering beautiful natural water spots — or just relax in our pool!Help
We’re always looking for energetic, positive people to join our hostel team — people who can genuinely connect with our guests and bring good vibes to the atmosphere.
If you’re a good talker and love chatting about cool destinations and fun activities 🚣🏻♀️🧘🏼♂️🏊🏻♀️🚴🏻♂️, this is a great opportunity to engage with guests and help them discover all the amazing places they shouldn’t miss while in Granada. Just talking with guests about local experiences is a huge help to our staff, especially when there might be language barriers during tour sales or activity explanations.
We may also need support with basic tasks like housekeeping or general maintenance, depending on what’s needed at the time.
We’re always open to new ideas and collaborations! If you have special skills or creative suggestions to improve our service or enhance the hostel’s vibe and layout, we’d love to hear them. You’re a traveler — and that perspective is exactly what helps make our place an even better experience for everyone.Languages spoken

The work is simple and easy: you need to be there when clients are coming and help with anything during the late afternoon.
Working shifts are 4 times a week for 5 hours/day, so you will have a lot of time to chill and explore Granada :).
