    Description

Our retirement paradise we started with a blank canvas without water and power and in 6 years we have created our dream but there are still many projects to do and we need a hand or two.
Our homestead is solely private and all produce generated on the property (veggies, eggs, honey) is for our own consumption.
We raise sheep and chickens for our own consumption.
We provide exceptional facilities for you and food for you to self cater, we provide our own honey, free range eggs as well as herbs, fruit and veggies when in season from our garden plus other pantry necessities.
We also provide laundry facilities, wifi and outdoor exercise.
You will be based here on our farm which is not serviced by public transport, the nearest small town is 8 km and provides a regional train service, we can provide a lift to the train station.
We offer a traditional work away experience 5 hours a day 5 days a week.
During hot weather we expect early morning starts (7-7.30 am) to avoid the heat of the day.
We require you to keep your room and bathroom clean at all times, if you stay longer than one week we require you to do housekeeping in common use areas (don’t include that in your weekly 5 hour job ).
We have large garden areas that need to be maintained, so be prepared to spend many hours in the gardens.
My wife is retired and I still work full time from home as a Bushfire Analyst so we would like assistance and interaction with workawayers.

Note: Please read our profile to the end to learn more about our help requirements to avoid any confusion.
