Hello .My name is Sarann. I am the principal of v. We are thrilled to invite you to be part of our school community. Our school, located in Preveng Province, Cambodia, in a tranquil rural area, 2 hours driving by car from Phnom Penh City and it is in the middle way of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, Angkor Wat Temple . Our School is more than just a place of learning—it’s a vibrant space for cultural exchange, education, and growth. You can have fun with children, practicing cultural activities like farming, raising animals.

Cultural Exchange at Our School
At our school, cultural exchange is at the heart of everything we do. As a Workawayer, you’ll have the opportunity to experience and immerse yourself in the rich culture of Camboda . From the warm hospitality of our community to the vibrant traditions we celebrate, you’ll feel like a part of our extended family.
What You’ll Experience:
Festivals and Traditions: Join us in celebrating, Khmer New Year (Chaul Chnam Thmey) ,2. Pchum Ben (Ancestor’s Day)3. Water Festival (Bon Om Touk),4. Royal Ploughing Ceremony (Bon Chroat Preah Nongkoal),5. Meak Bochea 6. Khmer Wedding Traditions where you’ll learn about our local customs, music, and dance.
Local Cuisine: Enjoy home-cooked meals or even learn to prepare traditional dishes like (KOKO SOUP)
How You’ll Contribute:
In turn, you’ll have a chance to share your own culture with us. Whether it’s teaching our students a few phrases in your language, cooking a dish from your homeland, or introducing us to your favorite songs or stories, your contributions will enrich our community and broaden our perspectives.

Help
I would like you to help us teaching English to the children at our school and sharing any skills you have with our local staff. Also, we have a farm which you can grow vegetable, fishing and sharing your farming experience to the villagers.

We’re excited to welcome you to our school and provide you with a comfortable place to stay during your time with us. Where You’ll Stay:
You’ll be staying in a private room at school or camping at the farmhouse near the pond. Also, you will be provided bathroom facilities, Kitchen, laundry facility. At farm we have a good place to relax
The Surroundings:
Our accommodation is located in a peaceful rural village. You’ll have the chance to enjoy farming and rice fields and fishing.
Cultural Experience:
Living with us gives you a unique opportunity to experience authentic Cambodian hospitality. You’ll interact with locals, try traditional Khmer dishes, and be a part of our community.
A Note on Comfort:
We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible, but please note that our accommodation is simple and reflects the local way of life. This is part of the adventure and a chance to experience life in Cambodia authentically.
Food: Khmer Food will be provided 3 times -breakfast, lunch and dinner . Also, if the Workawayer wants to try to cook ,we can help buy somethings from the near market and use the school's kitchen to cook their favorite food .What else ...

Comfortable clothing suitable for a warm climate and modest attire for visiting pagodas or schools.
