Voluntariar aquí fue uno de los mejores voluntariados que hemos hecho hasta ahora. Colaboramos con el desayuno y la limpieza de las habitaciones, una tarea sencilla de hacer teniendo a disposición todos los elementos que Patrice dispone para llevarla adelante cómodos. A pasos de la playa, pudimos disfrutarla todas las tardes y en nuestros días libres. Patrice es una muy buena persona y está acompañado de una hermosa familia con la que también tuvimos el gusto de compartir. Degustamos la comida de Carla, Carlota y Lili por lo cual también hicimos gran degustación de la gastronomía local 😍 No tenemos nada malo para decir y sí podemos seguir diciendo cosas buenas. Gracias gracias gracias Patrice y familia!

Clare has many great skills and knowledge that Hosts will appreciate. Some descriptive words include: sharp, eager, able to see a better way or different way of doing things, a self-starter, clean, polite, and all the things a host would want. She is also a great cook. Seriously, after the first few days we had to insist on her taking a day off to go play. Clare has a wealth of life experience, she has lived on a farm, she is willing to work in the dirt, the kitchen, and oh yes, some of her super skills are on the computer. I am actually a Professor of Computer Science and Information Systems, yet all the modern Social Media, such as Instagram and Facebook, well, not my expertise. Since I have a popular band of over 25 years, Clare has done wonderful things to modernize our social media. A Lot!!! I think any host would be happy to host Clare. We were!

My experience with Gemma was truly special and deeply meaningful. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed, trusted, and valued not just as a volunteer, but as a human being. During my stay, I helped Gemma for two weeks mainly with marketing and content related tasks. The collaboration was smooth, clear, and respectful. She gives you autonomy, trusts your ideas, and truly appreciates your contribution. I felt useful, supported, and fully involved in what we were building together. Gemma is an incredibly kind, grounded, and inspiring person. She is always available to help when possible, attentive, and genuinely caring. I felt completely at home during my stay. I was able to cook, settle into my own calm routine, and work peacefully while still feeling connected. Her accommodation is very well located. Everything is accessible on foot, including places to visit, daily needs, and the city center which is about 15 to 20 minutes walking distance. It made daily life easy, comfortable, and very pleasant. This experience went far beyond what I expected. It felt human, simple, and nourishing. I’m leaving with beautiful memories, knowledge about myself and a lot of gratitude. If you are looking for a Workaway where you feel respected, comfortable, and truly welcomed, I highly recommend this experience. Jasmijn was a great workawayer to have around. She is very hard working, independent, pro active, has good observation skills and gets a lot of work done in a short time. She is a very kind person, open for conversation as well as respecting personal time. She was a great help at our farm and although she was not so lucky with the weather, she did the work always with a big smile. Jasmijn is very confident around the animals and took well care of everyone of them. We even got the chance to be away from the farm for some days, because she easily took care of everything, we didn't had to worry about anything. She is also a good rider, unfortunately there was not much opportunity for that due to the weather, so maybe Jasmijn will have to come back in spring or summertime...more than welcome!

This was my very first Workaway experience, and I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better one. From the very beginning, Lisa and Tore made me feel incredibly welcome and truly part of the family. I don’t think I could have been taken better care of than I was by them — they were always kind, attentive, and supportive, and I felt valued not just as a worker but as a person. The work itself was real farm work and varied a lot. Everything was clearly explained, fair, and meaningful, and the atmosphere made even the cold days feel rewarding. Working with the animals was especially enriching and grounding, and being part of their daily care made the experience feel even more special. The farm is a truly beautiful place, surrounded by peaceful, stunning nature, which made everyday life and work there even more enjoyable. I always felt appreciated for the work I did. I would recommend this place without hesitation to anyone looking for an authentic, caring, and deeply enriching Workaway experience.

Staying with Lisa and Joaquim was the best choice I could ever make! It was my first Workaway experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! They are a wonderful couple with the most adorable and fun kids! They were super flexible with my schedule, even though I just wanted to spend all the time with the kids 😆 I am super greatful for my time there and for this life time experience! Will miss them :)

Contar con Jasmine fue una experiencia maravillosa, su aporte fue verdaderamente invaluable. Desde el dia uno destacó su energia dinámica, jovial y contagiosa, trayendo alegría al espacio y fortaleciendo un gran espíritu de camaradería entre el equipo, siempre acompañada de su sonrisa. Mantuvo siempre una actitud de apoyo y disponibilidad, con una predisposición excepcional, incluso saliendo de sus propios límites para ayudar donde fuera necesario. Su trabajo fue siempre impecable, puntual y realizado con gran compromiso, siendo muy generosa con su tiempo y conocimientos. Además de su impecable trabajo en recepción, su creatividad fue clave en varias áreas: colaboró en la gestión de eventos en el hostal, apoyó con la cobertura y creación de material audiovisual, también apoyó con el centro cultural, y aportó ideas que enriquecieron cada proyecto. También brindó un apoyo fundamental en el cuidado del medio ambiente y tuvo una participación destacada en nuestra feria de adopción de animales, colaborando de manera activa para ayudar a reducir la sobrepoblación animal en nuestras comunidades. ¡Gracias Jasmine por ser tan comprometida, profesional y por tu calidad humana! Definitivamente esperamos tenerla de vuelta.

Sophia is a natural leader and a highly independent professional. She consistently demonstrates strong compassion, commitment, and respect toward our students, and her contributions have had a positive and lasting impact on our community. We would welcome the opportunity to work with her again in the future.

I was lucky enough to be contacted by Sonja and Holger just a few days after I had saved them among my favorite hosts to reach out to, we can definitely say it was destiny! From our very first call, I could already feel their harmony and positive energy, and I immediately felt comfortable and truly welcomed. I really appreciated their clarity and transparency. They are genuinely honest and fair people, and also very generous. For example, when we went grocery shopping, they told me several times to take anything I liked or needed and simply put it in the cart, something that is absolutely not taken for granted, and that I appreciated a lot. I loved the four rules of the farm… but no spoilers! You’ll discover them only if you are lucky enough to spend some time in that peaceful corner of the world. The animals are wonderful and clearly reflect the love and care that Sonja and Holger give them every single day. I felt very comfortable and at home there, while also having all the time and personal space I needed. The beautiful little house reserved for volunteers, with a wood stove, really helped a lot in making that possible and made everything even more special. I highly recommend this experience to anyone. The work can be physically demanding at times, but the peace and harmony I felt during those 10 days at the Quinta is something I will remember forever. It has been a very important step in my personal journey. Thank you Sonja, and thank you Holger, vi voglio bene!🧡

It was a real pleasure to welcome Olivia who is a nice person! Very sorry for the 3 weeks of incredible rains non stop ... First time in 30 years to have suche a bad weather . Olivia teached English to Najat and Najat lurned French to Olivia Thanks for the delicious Finland soup and lemon cake ( not Finish .. ) Good luck and we hope to see you once with better weather

My feedback comes a bit late, however I wanted to say this place is absolutely magical with full of creativity, love and compassion. If I could I would have stayed way longer. I'm still dreaming of the old organ I was able to play in the barn and the selfmade tahin sauce. Yum! Thank you for the kindness and hospitality! It truly was an experience I will never forget and still talk fondly about every now and then.

Anais has been one of the best experiences we have had in our project, she is super self-directed, motivated, works hard, super grateful and fun, she has been one of the youngest but without a doubt with a very good level of understanding and maturity.

I'm still dreaming to come back at some time! Thank you Eric for your kind hospitality! This experience was the best and I will dearly remember my time in South France for the rest of my life.

I stayed with Letizia in November and had such a wonderful time. Letizia is a very creative person and is working on some really interesting projects that it was great to be a part of. As a volunteer I helped with the permaculture project, olive harvest and general house cleaning and duties. All the volunteer tasks were super clear and organised which meant you had the afternoons for your own free time. In my time with letizia we were blessed to enjoy her Nonna's cooking which was very much enjoyed. Letizia has a beautiful terrace which soaked up the sun all day. Sitting there eating great Italian food and chatting with letizia and the other volunteer was a real highlight of my day. Letizia is a very warm and kind person and it was really nice to be introduced to her family and friends and also to her interests. We got to try a karate class whilst we were there and also attend a local festival which was a lot of fun! The location is great as you can cycle to the beach and the sunsets are amazing there! Overall it was another wonderful experience and I am very grateful to letizia and her family for hosting me. Thank you so much! Grazie mille!

We had a wonderful expérience with Sophie. We are travelling as a Family with 2 children and Sophie has accepted to host us at last minute as We were trying to find a safe place as à storm was coming. We had the opportunity to help her by cutting a tree and building doors for a Little house. Our children had a great time too, playing in the trampoline, brushing the horses and harvesting oranges. Thank you again so much for your hospitality

Ebba was our guest for a week and helped us with woodwork, willow harvesting and other tasks.... She was always very helpful and interested – a lovely, respectful Workawayer. We had a great time together. She shared her fantastic cinnamon roll recipe with us, which we really appreciate. Thank you, Ebba! We would be happy, if you visited us again and hopefully for a longer time....

Benedicte was a pleasure to have stay with us. She helped us with admin tasks, cooking, household chores and gardening. She also helped us with a residency that took place in our organisation and helped to make our resident artists comfortable, chatted with them and cooked with them. Benedicte was always so willing to help and we really appreciated that. She joined in conversation with everyone around the table at dinner and lunch. We would recommend Benedicte to everyone.

Mars speaks excellent French, but I don't, so we spoke some excellent English together. But it was great that he spoke French, because my kids do and they don't speak English. Mars was great with my kids. He has an interesting quiet approach where he just started drawing and my kids would become curious and come and take a look. It was fun to have him around. He's a really easy-going person and has a bit of a sarcastic side which was not surprising since he's English. He's a really intelligent and inspiring person that's wise for his age. I learned a lot from him that made me reflect much on my own situation in life. You should definitely ask him to cook a meal, since he's a great cook! It was the first time I had a 100% vegan over and it was noticeable since he created great vegan meals with such ease.

It was a pleasure to host Lukas for a couple weeks! He helped us to install a jacuzzi, as well as completing some other little tasks around the lodge! He is a very hard worker and very professional. He has a great understanding of electrics and construction. More than his amazing work ethic, he is a lovely person to have around, and we had some very nice chats in the evenings. He was also a very respectful house guest. We really appreciate all the hard work you did here, and getting to know you! We would highly recommend Lukas to any other hosts!
