Description

I'm looking to experience the world. I grew up on a farm, I've lived in the city. To some extent I'm a jack-of-all-trades. I'm currently building an online business, writing a book and traveling.

I love (in no particular order) music, plays & musicals, board games, books, volunteering and obviously, travel.

My skillset: I'm very computer literate, (ask if you're looking for a specific project), I edit for other writers and am happy to supply feedback, I'm better with a saw than a hammer, but I've helped rebuild homes. I've gardened, and picked berries and watched children, run my own businesses, built online businesses for others. I'm ok with well-mannered pets of all kinds. I've lived with 10 different kinds over the years (also known as a farm). I'd like to be up and outside and active at least part of each day.

I'm looking for, um, something new. Preferences would be building up a community, housesitting, pet sitting, and/or improving on the world around us. I've packed food boxes, cleaned up city streets and roads, volunteered at the library, served on city council, raked leaves, planted, etc, whatever needed done. I'm looking for things that are a MINIMUM of 2 weeks - and my hope is to wander from one to the next with the occasional trip home for the next several years.

I love learning almost anything.

I'm a generalist - not really a specialist. I've dabbled in so many things, but wouldn't claim I'm amazing in any of them.
Not a photographer, but I know my way around Photoshop I have basic Lightroom down as well. I edit and design print materials / website design, provide feedback, I've had a hand in most small business tasks at some point. If you need boring computer based help - it's me. Also basic accounting.
I cook, but am not by any means a chef - by ANY means. I sew a bit - think hemming, pillow cases etc.
I lead groups - planning / managing / hosting, etc
Grew up on what we now call micro farms - 10 acres, so can manage many kinds of animals and foodstuffs.

I enjoy life and am typically uplifting for those around me - might sound a bit silly but has really helped at different times.

I'm fun, and enjoy fun. I love trying new things and meeting new people. I randomly talk to people in coffee shops and make new friends. My downtime is reading, visiting, I have family all over the United States, and am looking forward to finding family from other counties.
