We had such a great time staying at Ahmad's camp for 8 nights! We met a lot of Ahmad’s family members and got to interact with the groups who came through the camp while we were there. Some of the days there were groups of tourists and some days there weren’t. Ahmad is easy to get along with and has a good sense of humour. We spent most of the time cleaning some of the tents which weren’t in use and helping with small tasks which we were asked to do on an ad-hoc basis. The surrounding area is amazing, and the food is really good. We feel very lucky to have spent this time here. Thank you again Ahmad for welcoming us into your camp. We wish you all the best for the future!

I stayed with Agnes and Rob for a month, and I can say I recover my trust in dogs. There are a bunch of them there day and night, so it's really important that you like dogs. My duties there consisted of basic housework and occasionally walking the dogs. I had a private room and very good internet. I could visit Cork on my days off or nearby villas with amazing views. Agnes was very kind to take me around a few times too; she's a great cook, so the food was fantastic during my stay. Rob is very talkative and friendly as well. They're both quite hardworking and keep busy, so it's important that you have a stoic temperament and are independent.

I spent two beautiful weeks with Pascale. I found her through a recommendation that I will always be grateful for, as it led me to discover a wonderful person. Pascale's place is very special and authentic, and it totally reflects her personality.Being there immediately invites you to stop and reconnect with nature and find calm. Pascale is a beautiful person with great strength and also great kindness. She has a special energy that transmits serenity. She was charming from the very first moment and always attentive to my well-being. She is a very sociable and curious woman who loves art, culture, nature, discovering unique and special places, and she is always looking for something new to learn. She very kindly invited me to participate in all of this during my time with her. I stayed in one of the rooms on the ground floor with direct access to the kitchen and bathroom, as well as the garden patio. The sunrises from there, with direct views of the ocean, are simply spectacular. The decor of the place also makes it very special; it's like traveling to another era and standing still in time. The work was in the garden. Pascale has a very good knowledge of permaculture and organic farming, she has trained in it and continues to do so. Her gardens are very pretty, and I was able to learn a little more through them and her beautiful vision. I truly recommend a visit to Pascale to get to know the island and its culture from interesting and different points of view and to learn about permaculture. She is a great host who loves to share and make people's lives much better and nicer. Dear Pascale, I know we will see each other again and we will keep in touch because we still have left many things to share! I hope to see you very soon and hear about all your new adventures. Big hugs from Tenerife!

We really enjoyed having Daniel as a helper. He moved a lot of wood and got it piled for the winter ahead. This was our main priority. We did hope to do other projects but the weather shifted and winter set in fast and cold! Daniel works well with clear expectations. He is perceptive, open minded, curious, respectful, and helpful in nature. He says things straight, which I appreciated. Daniel has lived a wide range of life experiences and generously shared stories with us over meal time conversations. He is a great conversationalist when you engage with him! He was easy to feed and appreciative of what we had to offer. If you have the opportunity, I would recommend a video chat with Daniel to see if he is a good fit :)

I want to thank Pacha for helping our daughter learn English. Pacha stayed with us for two weeks, and it was a wonderful experience. Every day, he played with her toys in English and made the games so engaging that she truly developed a personal interest in the language. Before this, she had some passive vocabulary from school and cartoons, but she didn’t speak any English at all. Over these two weeks, she didn't just repeat words but began actively using English phrases during play. This is incredibly valuable to us. At the end of every session, she never wanted to stop and would always ask, 'When will I get to play with Pacha again?'

My time at this place was truly unforgettable and meaningful, as it was my first yoga teaching opportunity. From the moment I arrived, Gio and Carlos welcomed me with so much warmth, patience, and care. They are quite literally some of the best people I’ve ever met. I’m especially grateful that they took the time to celebrate my birthday with me , a moment I’ll always hold close. The views from the lodge and the yoga shala are absolutely breathtaking. Practicing and teaching yoga for a month, surrounded by the mountains felt deeply inspiring. I met people from all over the world, and the sense of connection and shared experience was phenomenal. The kitchen staff were incredibly sweet, and the meals were nice. The village is quaint and lovely, nestled beautifully in the mountains. And although I’m not usually a hiker (especially not of steep hills!), I found myself jumping at opportunities to venture out and explore. My experience was nothing short of amazing. If I were ever given the chance to return, I would do it all over again without hesitation. I highly recommend volunteering here.

Andrea stayed with us for a short time -just five days during the Christmas week- yet his presence left an impression!! He helped with garden work with dedication and care, always willing to support whatever was needed. Beyond the practical tasks, we shared lots of conversations and a heartfelt connection. Andrea has an incredible energy: he is a kind, luminous being, with a deep sense of peace that resonates beautifully with the spirituality of my house. Even in such a brief stay, Andrea’s presence was meaningful and deeply appreciated. We are grateful for the time we shared, and he will always be welcome back here!!!

I took a while to add feedback, but this is a truly special place to stay. No matter what time of year, something delicious is growing (figs and tomatoes and hazelnuts in the summer, I ate a ton of figs every day and never got tired of them) You are in a truly beautiful part of the Italian countryside, and Kate is super helpful in showing gorgeous places like Sperlonga, and random adventures (picking apples for a neighbor, buying 2-by-4s at the wood shop) are part of the DNA of this place. The social aspect is really good; even if there aren’t other workawayers at the time, the “park for a night” that they do means (again, summer experience for me) that folks from all around may just randomly be there. I had so many interesting conversations with so many different cool people. Definitely be prepared to stay in a tent! There are wild boars but they’re nice. However, things are always beautifully evolving there so who knows what cool new things will be around. Hope to visit again someday!

Her first contact message was so touching that I immediately thought, I absolutely want to host Deby in my house. From the very beginning, her energy was light, joyful, and fun, and her presence lifted the atmosphere of the house. I loved her perfect English, spoken with a noticeable and charming French accent -something that made conversations more enjoyable. She also had an outstanding attitude toward everything that needed to be done. Always willing, engaged, and supportive, she brought ease, clarity, and flow to every task. During her stay, Deborah helped redesign the garden with great sensitivity and creativity, leaving a visible and lasting improvement in the space. Even though she stayed only ten days, her contribution was meaningful and deeply appreciated. Thank you so much. The paths are wide open for you to return whenever you wish — you will always be welcome her.

Ahhhh, I’ve missed you since the day you left! Connie was a gift to my house. From day one, her energy, kindness, and availability made everything flow with ease. She is proactive, responsible, and always brings an excellent vibe to whatever she is doing. She helped organize daily tasks into clear written protocols, which brought structure, clarity, and ease to the house routine. This was incredibly valuable and continues to support us even after her stay. She also created beautiful videos capturing the experiences and everyday life, with great sensitivity and presence!! In addition, Connie supported the reception and welcoming of guests during events, always with warmth, presence, and care. More beautiful than anything, Connie brings people together, turning everyday moments into genuine shared experiences. Sharing daily meals, cooking for all the guests, and sitting down to have lunch as a group became a special part of life in the house while she was here. Those simple moments strengthened the heart of the home and the spirit of the place. Connie has a singular ability to make people feel comfortable, seen, and connected. She left a deep and loving imprint here and is truly missed. We are deeply grateful for her presence and would welcome her back anytime (please come back!!) Lots of love from me, Vic haux haux 🌿

We spent almost a month together and we got a chance to know each other while facing many different circumstances. Miguel was supportive in all of them. He helped us to prepare for winter, he'd also responsibly taking care of dogs and he became the master of washing the dishes. As a good observer and an independent person, he was often choosing work by himself and it was always the right thing to do. Moreover Miguel is full of idealistic visions (though he called himself materialist) of how to improve people's lives and he inspired us greatly, f.e. to include permaculture into our plans. Our free time we were spending playing music and chess. Thank you, Miguel, good luck and don't forget to visit us next time.

This week has been such a great time with easy daily tasks that only include some really simple cleaning work. Federico and Carson have taken me to various restaurants in Kuala Lumpur every day to try different local foods, which is an extremely rare experience. With their guidance, I have deeply experienced the local customs and traditions of Kuala Lumpur. My English is not very good, but they always listen to me patiently, give me encouragement and help me improve my oral English. Federico is also good at Thai massage, and he gave me a massage in his free time, which stretched my body out and made me feel relaxed. I'm really grateful to him. There is an infinity pool and a gym in the apartment building, both of which I can use in my spare time. All in all, this is the first stop of my trip to Malaysia, and I would rate it five stars!

Alessia and Casper were amazing, their energy, motivation and creativity were unmatched!!! They spend the New Years with us and help contribute in many ways, and most importantly were independent and good problem solvers. They were quick to jump on projects and resolve projects as needed. Anyone to host them would likely benefit for their site. Miss you guys already :) Love Vaidas
