Where to start! Our stay at Liana's beautiful home in Lorinna was during an unusually busy time for Liana and her son Meka, so probably would not be the usual experience of Workawayers here: Asep was away too so we sadly didn't have the pleasure to meet him. Liana's commitment to local and regenerative culture is amazing. It was so wonderful to share this for the two weeks we were there, with delicious meals and bi-weekly visits to the co-op which is a hub for activity in the valley. My daughter had a great time getting to know the local kids, and by the end was running free with them despite some initial shyness. Our tasks were primarily house based, involved some deep cleaning, some cooking (I had not used a wood cooker before so that was an exciting opportunity), repair of some items and quite a bit of sewing once Liana saw that was a core skill of mine (not sure if I even had it on my skills list!) We also did thistle grubbing, wood & kindling prep, weeding and straw raking. My daughter enjoyed helping with the guinea pigs too! We had the company of another workawayer, Aqil, during the second week, which made for more social time on some days. Lorinna is a stunning valley and swimming in the lake on the warmer days a highlight. Attending local yoga class was also fantastic. We found the community friendly and welcoming, and look forward to returning. Thankyou so much Liana, for your guidance and care, especially given the time constraints you had during our stay.

Finally here goes my feedback! Kerron was the best host to introduce me to India, I was hesitating whether or not to make my trip to India, I had bought the flight and wanted to go on the adventure, but being my first trip to Asia, and after hearing some comments, I began to doubt if it was not too bold on my part.... I started talking to him, and he convinced me that it was worth going to his country, and that he would show me his day-to-day, his hospitality and his culture And so it was: he helped me with trains and mobility, introduced me to the world of university, also of social cooperation, met women workers from rural areas, ceremonial acts, in which I had never thought I would participate, contact with students and teachers from different campuses, introduced me to the world of yoga, with a local teacher and great wisdom that opened the doors of his house and terrace, where we gave class every morning, introduced me to the world of Ayurveda, at one of the best universities in Aurangabad, giving me the opportunity to meet Dr. Barhate and learn from his knowledge. And not to mention the great experience that was travel with them to Kumbh mela, experience that I will never forget..... Kerron and his wife, Raj, opened their house for me and did everything to make me feel at home ..... and introduced me to the neighborhood, the little ones were waiting for me to give them Spanish lessons, I enjoyed with them too... Raj was like a sister during those weeks, I could see her brightness and energy, we cooked together, listened to music, told me about her projects.... and she ride me with her bike around city ... thanks Raj, you’re a very pretty soul Kabir, the son of Kerron, was so kind with me, always had a smile, and patiently explained to me their traditions and customs, thanks Kabir, do not change! I can’t believe everything I did with them and the experience they brought to my life Thanks Kerron, if you had not convinced me that I should travel to india, I would have missed a lot, you are a person of firm ideals and with great inner strength, thank you for everything you showed me, it was a pleasure

What can I say but a big Thank you to everyone: specially Adriana AND clebe. If it had not been for my partners, the special team we had among the work awayers and the warmth of the hosts, this work away would have been very different. The place is amazing, setiba is very quiet and there is not much to do. For someone who is looking for a cultural exchange, AND bars,it's can be a bit challenging. Yet in my case it was perfect. Work was well organiz Ed and I tried to contribute as much as possible. I rented a bycycle AND had fun. We laughed a Lot. Thank you.i consider them friends.

Annemiek is a fantastic Workawayer. She is extremely hard working, capable, structured, chilled, fun, helpful, interesting, intelligent and very kind. Annemiek painted, plastered walls, cleaned and looked after the plants. She’s a great cook, always washes the dishes (thank-you!) and always cleaned up during and after herself. We had some great nights out watching local live music, and she enjoyed hiking and cycling round the area. Thanks for all you hard work Annemiek, my house looks new again!

We had a beautiful week and a half with Vova! He's very helpful with everything that comes up and handy even with tasks he's never done before (like tiling a bathroom and a kitchen) He played a lot with our two kids as well, which we are very grateful about! They loved his company and could improve their Italian! Thanks so much for this nice experience!

Staying here was truly such a gift. On a journey of over 30 000km in my car, this was truly one of my best experiences. I felt such kindness and warmth here, the sweetest animals and people, and in a short time I gained so much inspiration for my own project which is the purpose of my journey through Spain as I look for land, I dont think I could have found more kindness! For a truly authentic, down to Earth experience and people that put their heart into what they do, I really recommend coming here! It was a little feeling of family on an often lonely road. Thank you so so much, I can't wait to meet again! a big big hug

It all started and ended with making granola! I stayed nearly 3 weeks with Micè, and what a lovely and beautiful house! My organisation and tidying-up skills were needed to make this house even more beautiful. I loved the energy there and the heartwarming welcome. Micè is a lovely host and an inspiration, and there’s a lot of fun. Even though we were completely different in some aspects, we managed to work well together and achieved great things. I am proud to be the first Austrian she hosted and wish her all the best!

My friend and I had a wonderful 10 day stay at Marcel's place. Marcel (and the others on the land) were a delight and very helpful with any questions we had. There is never a shortage of work that you can do here nor enough time to explore the property. Definitely a recommendation if you like being tucked away, are independent workers, you like being outside and don't require internet access. Just a side note: The pictures of the accomodation are of the main house. A hut / studio has just recently been built where you will stay. This is fitted with everything you might need.

It was a pleasure to have you boys in our home..You never said no to any task and as stated you love to play with any thing mechanical. Maki and Gen are very enthusiastic about everything. They did the work required in a cheerful manner, they were very respectful , polite and happy at all times. To them, everything was new and exciting and as if by osmosis we gathered more energy working on our farm. They even cooked a few Japanese dishes for us. Thank you to both of you and good luck for your workaway future.

I got to spend over 3 months with this amazing family and it was the best choice! From the moment I arrived I always felt welcomed, supported and included in their family. Raúl and Chon were always so supportive, helpful and nice. Thanks to them encouraging me to go out and on trips, I was able to see the best of Andalusia and Málaga. The girls were always so nice to me and fun to be around so I am really gonna miss spending time with them! Málaga is such a beautiful city for living and the house is near the city center which is great! I had lots of freetime so there was enough time to do everything I wanted:) Thanks to this experience I met so many amazing people from all around the world and i have great memories with them! I feel so lucky I matched with this family and I hope to go back to Málaga to see them soon!!

She is a wonderful girl with a genuine soul. We had a great time together “sowing life” such as cocoa and peas, nourishing the soil with compost, among many other things. Ebba helped with everything without exception, always with enthusiasm and a big smile. She was sensitive with the animals and loved them all, and they loved her. She worked with the horses with great care and was also a very thoughtful person. We miss her terribly and hope that wherever she goes, they will love her as much as we do.

Muchas gracias a Henri y Pilu! it was a fabulous time and the work they have accomplished on their project is very extensive and magical- we miss the goats very much already. During most of our stay Pilu was in Spain, so we shared the beautiful house and land with Henri, the goats, the dogs, and the chickens- and we learned so much! It is a very special desert, we went in the time after the wet season, and it was so joyful to see all of the vibrant desert life and leafy trees, note that you will be living very closely with the land and all of its inhabitants (which was very special and we got to experience so much life!!) but if you are someone who does not like bugs this may not be the space for you. Henri is very knowledgeable and can teach you very much if you are ready to learn about Permaculture- ask questions and you will leave much wiser. It was very powerful to begin our travels in such an isolated space. The stars at night, tranquility of the land and ocean, the sunrises and sunsets in the mountains- brings so much peace to the spirit. Note that if you are looking to be around a lot of people this may not be the space for you, however if you are ready to explore inner peace in the mountains and ocean you have found your place :) The accommodations were very comfortable, with a mix of private rooms and shared kitche/bathroom. The work was varied, including twice daily milking of the goats, egg collection, dog walking, occasional hole digging, small construction projects, solar panel work and general organization or random tasks. Very respectable work/rest balance. Combined with lovely meals and conversions, we highly recommend this project. So much thanks to Henri and Pilu for their generosity and knowledge. we are so grateful to have spent time with you and all of your creatures. Muchas Gracias por todo <3

I stayed with Hans Olaf one month between october and november. It has been an exciting and challenging experience for me, and after some months I can say that it really helped me to grow. Hans Olaf is a really nice and caring person, has strong values and ethics which matched mine, so I can say that he is someone you can defenetely trust even if you don't know him. We had some small comunication problems, but we solved them quickly. Additionally, his parents are some of the most welcoming people I've ever met. Talking about the work, he was cristal clear that it is time and energy demanding and it takes more than 5/6 hours per day; that's part of the life in a farm and something workawayers should be willing to accept (if they want the full experience). In my specific case, I had the opportunity to develope new and old skills (with some accidents) which was one of my goals. Thank you, Rick

we were very lucky to have Laure with us for three months, and her contribution was truly outstanding. From day one, she showed great commitment, creativity, and a consistently positive attitude. She helped us enormously with digital marketing, bringing fresh ideas, improving our social media presence, and creating content that genuinely connected with our guests. Her work with photography was also excellent she managed to capture the essence of the place and significantly elevate the overall image of our project in a very professional way. Beyond her technical skills, she stood out for being responsible, proactive, and easy to work with as part of a team. She was always willing to help and often went above and beyond expectations. Without a doubt, she was a very valuable part of our team, and we highly recommend her for any project related to digital marketing, content creation, or photography.

Honestly it has been a life changing experience for me being there! I initially planned on staying for 2 weeks and ended up staying for 6 months because I couldn’t leave this wonderful place so early. The dogs, the scenery, the people, everything was amazing. I did a lot of workaways in the last years but this was by far my favorite one. It made me think about how I want to live my life and that I’d love to live in a community like this one in the future because it can provide a lot of things such as adventures, comfort and solidarity. Moreover, I the dogs made me realize I am a total dog person and would like to pursue working with dogs for sure. Raúl is a great host. He is a very funny and generous person who tries everything to make you feel comfortable. He would let you choose what you want to work on or even starting your own project. Thanks for giving this opportunity to people and providing a safe home for dogs and bringing both together <3
