Help with family goats and growing veggies in Videm pri Ptuju, Slovenia

  Description

  My family owned a winery in Slovenia with German and Styrian roots. After the war, everything was expropriated and returned in poor condition after many years. Now I'm trying to restore the old, magnificent building and turn it into a small but fine hotel for team building events, small groups, and seminars. The actual construction is complete, and now all that's missing is the interior design, which is being tackled gradually, room by room.
  
  I've deployed my landscapers around the house in the form of a herd of goats, who are doing quite well. The grounds are already eco-certified, and I plan to grow my own vegetables and fruit, and of course, wine, on my beautiful terraces in the future with your help...
  
  Even old wooden beams could be used to build benches or tables for a picnic area. There's plenty of space on the 6-hectare property. The goat fence also needs to be checked and repaired regularly, as the little ones find every hole and are very adventurous. We currently have many young animals that romp sweetly through the hills, and everyone has to take them into their hearts immediately!
  
  I primarily need help for the animals: moving the fence, feeding them, giving them water, keeping the stables tidy, planting or tending beds in the garden, harvesting vegetables, planting trees, trimming hedges, stacking or sawing wood, building deadwood hedges, mowing meadows, and much more that comes with running a farm.
  
  Meine Familie hatte ein Weingut in Slowenien mit deutschen und steirischen Wurzeln, nach dem Krieg wurde alles enteignet und nach vielen Jahren in schlechtem Zustand zurück gegeben. Nun versuche ich, die alte prachtvolle Bauweise wieder herzustellen und wieder ein kleines aber feines Hotel für Team Buildings oder kleine Gruppen und Seminare daraus zu machen. Der eigentliche Bau ist fertig gestellt und nun fehlt noch die Inneneinrichtung, was nach und nach und Zimmer für Zimmer in Angriff genommen wird.
  
  Um das Haus habe ich meine Landschaftspfleger in Form einer Ziegenherde eingesetzt, die sich tatsächlich wacker schlagen, das Gelände ist bereits Eko-zertifiziert und ich plane, eigenes Gemüse und Obst und natürlich auch Wein auf meinen tollen Terrassen zukünftig mit Eurer Hilfe anbauen zu können...
  
  Auch mit alten Holzbalken könnten Bänke oder Tische für einen Picknickplatz gebaut werden, Platz gibt es auf dem Gelände von 6 ha genügend, auch der Ziegenzaun muss immer wieder kontrolliert und ausgebessert werden, weil die Kleinen jedes Loch finden und sehr unternehmungslustig sind. Aktuell haben wir viele Jungtieren, die zum Anbeten süß duch die Hügel springen und jeder muss sie sofort in sein Herz schliessen!
  
  Hilfe brauche ich in erster Linie für die Tiere, Zaun umsetzen, füttern, Wasser geben, Stall in Ordnung halten, Beete im Garten anlegen oder pflegen, Gemüse ernten, Bäume setzen, Hecken schneiden, Holz stapeln oder sägen, Totholzhecken bauen, Wiesen mähen und vieles mehr, was eine Farm so mit sich bringt.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  I am from an artist family and most of all documents are registed in archiv and waiting for new art historical research with help of local specialists in order to find out some new aspects of this famous artist family. Documents are already registered and put into a useful order to work now with them.... This could be an interesting and helpful task and exhibitions are easily to be prepared with our specialists here around Ptuj, who are all very keen on new details and demonstrations.
  
  In general, Ptuj is a very lively town with numeous festivals on art and musik and street food and specialising in the famous carnival in feburary all over the city. Art stays is taking place every year as well as poetry and wine, other wine festivals and art exhibition in different locations.

  Help

  We need help for the goat farm, stable, fence and feeding, new trees and vegetables must be prepared for next season, wood must be cut for heating, the water lake can be renaturated next year and landscape shaping and organising would be helpful. The goats are running everywhere and must be put in various smaller pieces of land and not run all around...
  
  For the first steps I would like to cut some trees and cut the wood into usable pieces and make a little order in the forest and clean it out and cut some hazelnut trees to give more light to the grassland. I would also like to host someone with ideas how to build some outside furniture out of old wooden beams, some creative helpers are more than welcome!!

  Accommodation

  I am preparing a big guest house and workawayers can sleep in one of the rooms with private bathroom with shower/Toilet. When available there is also a tiny house with all kitchen equipment and 2 bedrooms which will normally be rented to tourists.
  
  Food will be provided for cooking together or themselves, Fridge and cooking facilities are available, on open fire or with electric or gas. I have a tiny house on the ground and have a normal kitchen with all equipment. If they take care for cooking themselves 3 hours per day will be enough.

  we are not far from the oldest town of Ptuj in 10 km distance, there is lots to visit, museums, therme, water, lake nearby, all touristic hotspots can be reached in max 250 km to the adriatic coast or in the surroundings, Graz is 100 km in Austria, the croation border only 20 km, hiking and biking everywhere, we are in the middle of the most original vinyards, I have 4 ha here and the terraces are waiting for new purposes, either wine or other plants to grow..... maybe some herbs or medical plants.......
