    Description

    Hey dear friends,

we are Till and Tzegha and our two sons Luam (10) and Amit (8). We have been living on Sardinia for more than three years and decided to go one step further now in our vision and start building our own off-grid homestead and hopefully the first stone of a thriving local neighborhood community.

Last year we moved to a beautiful piece of land in the north-east of Sardinia, which we are about to transform into a permaculture place in the coming years. We also wish to become one of the first homesteads of a growing local network of international people and families to build a loose local community here in the hills of north-eastern Sardinia, in the region called Gallura. We are surrounded by beautiful old cork forests and bizarre granit rock formations. It is a silent and still very natural area, yet not far to beautiful beaches and nice cities like Tempio Pausania and Olbia

Currently we are in the process of finishing a Tinyhouse, that will soon become our family home. So in the next few months we can use some helping hands with the building. If any of you have some construction skills to help us on the site, we would be really happy also about very spontaneous requests and stays. At this point we really prefer to focus on volunteers that have actual skills and experience in building.
Now, in November and December we will also start to put some energy in setting up our agriculture with a permaculture approach. We will prepare the ground, build fences for the wild pigs and then plant a food forest, winter veggie gardens and probably a field with mediteranian herbal plants.

We have different options to host you. There is a caravan, a tent plus of course, you can come and stay in your own camper or tent on our land. Please note that we are still in the very beginning of our project, thus the existing infrastructure is still very basic (Community kitchen, compost toilet and simple outdoor shower).

After having hosted quite a few volunteers it is important for us to mention that we ask you to only come when you feel self motivated and willing to participate in a pioneer phase which is quite demanding in many ways. Also be responsible for your own mental and physical health. Please tell us beforehand if you have any psychological or physical challenges so we can ensure a good and safe stay.

Many kind regards and maybe see you soon!

    Accommodation

If you are comfortable to sleep in a caravan: that is also possible, we can provide you with a caravan or a tent and bedding.
For now it is still preferable if you can bring your own camper or tent, as we have little accommodation space. Our place is still very basic and we are in the phase of setting up a guest and volunteer infrastructure.
