I had an amazing time at Sarah and Davids farm! I would always come back and do it all over again. Their dog Louie is the best. He really loves belly scratches :) They are so lovely people and just really nice to live with. I learned so many new things. Each morning we were milking the goats and every few days we made some cheese out of the milk. The cheese tastes really really good! We also harvested the honey from the bees. That was so interesting The place to stay was perfect. You have your own little studio. Each evening you can see the kangaroos on the property next to them. Sarah and David were really the best hosts you can think of. They helped you out with everything they could and made you feel really welcome. Thanks for having me!

Nous avons vécu une magnifique expérience avec Jean-Luc. Les paysages sont extraordinaires, nous avons côtoyé les gens du village, allé au marché, visiter des châteaux. Jean-Luc est un guide incroyable. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir et cette expérience restera gravée dans nos cœur 🫶

We had the pleasure of having Yvonne and Dennis to help us with different projects. They are a very likeable couple, always on time, hard working and enthusiastic. They did a bit of gardening, weeding, pruning, painting, etc. They stayed here for 2 weeks and we had the chance to share some nice conversation over a couple of meals together. We found them interesting and keen to do a good job in all areas and finish the tasks. We would happily welcome them back anytime!

Sadie is great! She stayed with us for a week and was an absolute pleasure. She was super open and motivated with all the projects I proposed her to do and she finished our main two planting beds with care and diligence. She also sowed many seeds that needed to go on the greenhouse and painted a beautiful little mural for us :) She cooked very nice and healthy meals for all of us, she was clean and tidy and really felt like a housemate that was part of the little community. Although we are not super organized, she adapted really well and patiently to the rythms of the house. She also cared for our dogs and the house one day we were away for a few hours. It was a blessing having her with us. Thank you Sadie and best of luck with your travels!

I spent ~3 weeks here and had a really great experience. Luke is a genuinely kind and welcoming person who makes you feel at home right away. The place itself is beautiful, located right on the shore of Lake Malawi, so there are plenty of opportunities for swimming and paddleboarding. It has a peaceful atmosphere and stunning surroundings. It’s quite remote, surrounded by small villages, which makes it perfect if you’re looking for an authentic Malawian experience rather than a touristy one. If you feel like you need to escape from the city or take a break from computer screens and office life, this is the perfect place to disconnect and recharge. The work was fair and not too demanding. I helped with a few small tasks like repairing steps and varnishing the wooden balcony, and it felt rewarding to contribute to the place. To any future volunteer, I would recommend to bring enough food supplies since the options around the house are quite limited. In overall, I’d definitely recommend this stay to anyone who enjoys nature, quiet environments, and meaningful cultural experiences

Blair and Samuel are a really delightful couple. They have what every host Iongs for: the "can do" attitude. Always cheerful and ready to help, we thoroughly enjoyed their company and I, especially, enjoyed "hanging out" with Blair, and sharing the shopping and cooking. She made a great surrogate daughter! We wish you so much love and luck for your future together. Keep in touch lovelies! ❤️

This man as been more than such a good volunteer, always having the smile, happy to help and exchange with everyone of my friends. He has a good physical condition and impressed me by his hard work and serious ! We have spend two weeks together and I had almost the feeling that I was working with my travel mate Thank you for the nice present you’ve made to me aswell 🙏🏼 I wish you all the best and I hope to see you again bro Take care Xavier

Ellie was an absolute joy to host through Workaway. From the moment she arrived, she brought such a positive, calm energy that made everything feel easy and enjoyable. She’s incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely easygoing — the kind of person who fits in effortlessly and makes a place feel lighter. On top of that, Ellie is highly capable and organized. She approached every task with care and professionalism, and it was clear she’s very qualified in what she does. We never had to worry — she was reliable, proactive, and always willing to help wherever needed. Beyond the work, she was just lovely to have around. Great company, respectful, and brought a really warm presence into our home. We’d welcome Ellie back anytime without hesitation and highly recommend her to any future hosts!

We were extremely satisfied with Srishti. She wonderfully enriched our cooking with Indian influences, inspired us, and helped us reflect on our routines. Despite her own projects, she was very dedicated, great with the kids, and we really appreciated her positive attitude.Highly recommended!

We are very happy Riyo could stay with us. The two weeksran away very quickly. Shewas absolutly perfect with both of our girls. The girls loved her. I even could let Riyo watch the girls and leave our house for a bit. It was such a big help. She has perfect English so we were happy to have language exchange too!!!She read fairy tales to our girls and talkem with them a lot. We really appreciate it so much. She was always very decent and patient. She helped me with cooking and some housework. In fact, she did all the tasks better than I could :-) She also managed the garden help without any problems. She had cleaned the appartment (where she stayed) perfectly before she left. We really appreciate it!!! Thank you ;-) Last but not least, our family went through some difficulties during Riyo's stay and she was so nice and emphatic. She is really a wonderful person!

Staying with Beatrice and Eric was a delightful experience in so many ways. They have such a welcoming atmosphere and beautiful home, I felt immediately happy to be there. Seriously a beautiful home. We had a whole apartment to ourselves which was amazing and the balance between work/social/down time was ideal. This was the perfect opportunity to see a real, rural Corsican village and lifestyle. The views are beautiful from the small village they live in and it’s nice to take walks around the area to visit other little villages. Quite isolated though. Wow the food was incredible! Bèatrice is a phenomenal cook who only makes super healthy meals with the best of ingredients so it was genuinely delicious every day. The work was satisfying as we had a big weeding project we were able to oversee and complete and after that we were working with Bèatrice and Eric every day with a variety of things. It was really sweet they were always concerned we’d get too bored and tried to switch it up for us. Overall, it was a truly wonderful workaway and a perfect, quiet place to relax. I cannot thank you both enough for everything!

We stayed 3 weeks at Béatrice et Eric place with my partner, and I highly recommend it ! They were always available when needed, and the meals were really healthy and delicious. The work was mainly weeding, taking care of the cat, and helping maintaining some part of the house. We shared inspiring conversations and joyful moments, they are really kind and caring, and made us feel instantly at home. I really enjoyed hearing Beatrice travel stories and Eric knowledge on quest for happiness😊 The place we stayed in is independent and fully equipped, which gave us privacy and a beautiful view on the valley : It is perfect if you want to stay in a quiet isolated village surrounded by nature. It was a pleasure getting to know them and help them around the house, would definitely keep a good memory of the experience! Merci à vous deux🤗

Lili is wonderful. During her two-week stay with us, she was always enthusiastic about tasks we gave her, did an incredibly thorough job of everything & she was an absolute delight to have around. Lili is very mature & independent, with an open, intelligent, curious mind. We had many enjoyable evenings together with lots of laughter! It was very easy to communicate organising her stay with us, we would happily have her back again & would readily recommend her to anyone else.

Tom is such a kind and pleasant person. He consistently gave his best effort on all tasks and daily chores, and he built great relationships with the other volunteers. I'm truly glad we had the chance to meet him. Hope to see you again sometime!

It was definitely one of the best experiences of my life, and I thank Samuel and his family for making it so. Samuel, Lucy, and their children were my second family; they filled me with love, and I think I can never thank them enough. The organization is sincere, the intention to help the less fortunate is honest, and the work I did with them brought real results to the community. Kanoni Town is quiet, a safe and welcoming place where I'm sure everyone can feel at home. I personally left my heart in the school in Kitwei village, but I'm sure each of the volunteers develops a connection with different places. If you're looking for a culturally enriching experience that also allows you to help disadvantaged children and communities around the world, I'm sure this is the right choice. I will always cherish the memory of this trip, and I owe a lot to Samuel, Lucy, and their family, who made me feel at home from day one to day two. I'm so happy to have discovered the beauty of Uganda and its people.

El en Parque Natural de Segura encontrarás el agua más potable, aire limpio, sonido naturales, vistas bellísimas junto con sus animales y muchas otras sorpresas. Y en el espacio de Lorrain tendrás la oportunidad de aprender todo sobre autosustentabilidad, bioconstruccion, permacultura, etc... Lorrian tendrá paciencia y encontrará una actividad de acuerdo a tu motivación. El y su pareja Karen son muy atententos y amable. Saludos a Max !

Rosie & Ethan were fantastic. A lovely couple and a joy to host. Rosie knows how to deeeep clean and bakes a mean apple pie too. Ethan's an absolute trooper & used to doing physical work. They stayed with us for a little over 3 weeks & would have been welcome to stay for longer!
