Description
Hello wonderful Workaway community! We are passionate creatives & travellers, who love discovering new places, connecting with great people and being inspired to tell and share important stories. Our creative pursuits are what drive our curiosity, as we've had various experience in fiction/non-fiction writing, scriptwriting, film, editing, theatre, improvised comedy, radio & podcasting. We both grew up in Melbourne, Australia but have always felt intrigued and excited about what else the world has to offer! We have previously travelled solo to Canada and America and have now decided to travel together to France. We think Workaway would be a wonderful opportunity to explore the world and share experiences with amazing people!

We are interested in learning more French! We have the very basics covered but since we love to converse with new people, we are committed to learning the language as best we can while we are in France. We would also be happy to speak and teach English. With Blair's writing degree and Sam's education experience, we are confident we can help folks learn English very well.

We both have a commitment to higher education and have completed various Bachelor degrees at university in Melbourne. Blair completed degrees in both Commerce and Creative Writing, and Sam finished his Education and Film, TV & Animation degrees at the end of 2022.
Our work experience ranges across many areas including education, customer service, retail, hospitality, maintenance, veterinary clinic, radio station and corporate administration.
Sam is handy with technology and house tasks, while Blair loves to cook! We both enjoy being outdoors, are great with animals and young children.
Working and studying across many industries gives us great listening skills and means we can learn and adapt quickly to new environments.

Blair loves yoga, music, writing, theatre and board games! She loves to sing and be creative in any way she can. She also loves cooking and trying new foods, as she is passionate about different cultures.
Sam loves film and television. Watching movies is one of his favourite past times, as he loves to explore new genres and artists within the film industry. He also loves going on evening walks and watching sports such as AFL (Australian Football), NFL and NBA.
