Description
Our rural farmhouse is set in beautiful Andalucia, one hour from Malaga and 7 kms from the historic and amazing hilltop village of Comares.
My wife and I together with our beloved dog Tommy live in the main part of the house and have a self contained pretty studio with its own private entrance, which is where our Workawayer would stay.
Couples are preferred. Own transport of car or campervan is an advantage.
We are looking for someone to stay with us from approx. March 17th to April 7th , a dog friendly couple or person to feed and walk Tommy dog as well as some help on our land and garden..
Couples are preferred.

They could practise Spanish, they could learn about the land and what is produced in this area, almonds, olives, lemons. mangoes, avocados, etc. What time is good to plant trees, how olive oil is made, etc.
Could do hiking and walking in the Montes de Malaga area, there is also a zip wire in Comares and various well detailed walks. Could also learn a bit of history in this part of Andalucia and enjoy local fiestas.
Help
We are looking for help from approx. March 17th to April 7th.
We are looking for help on the land and garden together with looking after our dog Tommy,walking him etc. Fit and able bodied persons of both sexes will be considered. Approx 20 - 25 hours a week. Flexible. Weekends off. Couples preferred.

Accommodation
The accommodation consists of a totally self contained studio with a double bed, en suite shower room, small kitchen with microwave, hob and fridge.Washing machine available. Smart TV . DVD player. WiFi. Dining table and chairs. Aircon. Seating area in adjacent private terrace. Own parking space.
The Farmhouse is located on the edge of the Montes de Malaga National Park. Comares hilltop village is 7 kms.away. Los Ventorros village with 2 good bar restaurants is 4 km away. Pick up from Malaga orTorre del Mar bus station is possible ( During daytime hours).

We are a friendly and sociable couple who like to experience having different visitors to help at our home and land. and garden. Often Carl works alongside our helpers and just needs an extra pair of hands. He enjoys this opportunity to engage in conversation and finds it interesting learning from the visitor and teaching them also what he has learnt living in this fabulous community for over 20 years.
We are respectful of each others privacy, however we often find the time to have a casual chat and more than once share a meal together., we find this very rewarding as we get to talk about different things, have a laugh and know about our visitors future travel plans .

Space for parking camper vans
We welcome couples with camper vans ( we have one ourselves) but please note that our farmhouse is located on a dirt farm track. Please ask us if you are interested in staying with us. There is parking for a small camper van outside the studio. And ample parking if you have a 4x4 version.

They are very attentive and get on with the jobs, they put the tools or utensils used back in their place when they had finished with them, They worked very well, learnt many new things and were great help.
