hello everybody,
welcome to my profile page. I`m 60 years old, a retired teacher of sports and languages (German, French, English). Furthermore my hobbies are nature, cooking, sports, languages, travelling, reading, going to concerts and museums. I am open to new ideas and fond of getting to know new cultures. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I could teach German, English, French. In this part of Switzerland you can learn Swiss German, the people speak Standard German as well. Switzerland has four languages, Italian, German, French , Romantsch. The Italian and French speaking people have a slightly different mentality. You can learn outdoor sports e.g. mountainbiking, hiking. This area is perfect for mountain and above all nature lovers.

I`m looking for some help in and around the house such as cutting the bushes, cleaning, sand down wood, painting, if possible repairing the façade, general maintenance. Maybe cooking together?

you will have a nice room and your own bathroom. The kitchen and living room are shared. There`s WIFI available.

I live in Brig-Glis in the canton of Wallis, not far from the centre (good bus system available) but in the countryside, my house is mainly surrounded by meadows. I like outdoor activities e.g. swimming, mountainbiking, skiing, eat or read in the garden etc.
Brig-Glis is a beautiful town of about 14000 inhabitants. Many nice places such as Berne, Thun, Lucerne, Zurich, Interlaken, Zermatt are within one or two hours. To Italy by train it takes 30 minutes. -
