We are a multilingual Swiss / British family with a student son who has Down Syndrom. We have travelled extensively and lived in the Middle East, in Africa the US and several places in Europe. We have many interests such as the outdoors, arts, and many more.
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
You can enjoy time in Switzerland and get to know its people. Do touristy things or enjoy the outdoors. Meet people, practice your german. Go trekking or take pictures of Appenzell and the mountains.
At the moment, we need to get some order into the garden and the house. We spend also time in a farmhouse a few miles away. Depending on your talents and interests, we will find something interesting to do for you in the garden and or the house.
Your own comfortable room is waiting for you in a lovely wooden chalet. The bathroom has to be shared. We can cook and eat together or you can do your own cooking, it is up to you.
If you like you can accompany Damian on his rail pass to anywhere in Switzerland for free. Our house and farm are in Eastern Switzerland near the UNESCO heritage site of St. Gallen and the picturesque Appenzell. There is a lovely forest just outside the house and mountains for trekking excursions not far away.
