Hey there!
I am looking for a workawayer who can help manage a highly-rated boutique on the beautiful shores of San Clemente/San Jacinto, spproximately 45 minutes north of Manta.
Here are some of our requirements:
You have to be a great team player, with a joyful spirit
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Maturity and ability to work independently
Computer competency
A love of animals (not like LOVE), to help care for our gang of 3 dogs and 2 cats
Great at meeting new people
Maintaining our excellent ratings
Great customer service skills
No heavy drugs or heavy drinkers (although we love to share a bottle of wine after work!)
Willing to work flexible hours, not always on the same shift.
General Maintenance skills
Self-management skills, with an ability to identify problems and find solutions without engaging the owner on small matters
You must be able to stay with us for a minimum of 2 months.In exchange, you will receive:
Cash payment weekly for incidentals and food
Your own home, including a living room, full kitchen, and a hot water shower. Also, air conditioning, a TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix, and, of course, Wi-Fi. None of your personal space will be shared with others, which means privacy. It's a great space for digital nomads.
A support team that includes the owner, other workawayers.
A beautiful area to lounge, including a second-story deck overlooking the ocean in your spare time. We also have great pool beds for use when we don't have guests.
Beachfront living
Great surfing, fresh seafood, and friendly people, both locals and guests from other countries. Our village has about 250 expats, either part-time or full-time, from around the world.
I need a team member who will look at this position seriously and realize that they will be an integral part of the hotel operation, not just an extra hand. Hotel experience is preferred. Availability starts immediately ,

Help
The Cottages are located on a long sandy beach, in a rural fishing village in San Alejo, which is almost exactly half way between Manta and Bahia, in Manabi province. There are small family-owned restaurants, and a couple of ex-pat hangouts, but not much more of a social scene, outside of the disco and street parties on the weekends, so if you are looking for the bright lights, and you don't mean the stars, this probably isn't for you. The village is very authentic, so your experience will not be just 'touristy'. This is a great opportunity for the right person/people, as you will have a lot of free reign and beautiful accommodations during your stay. Many lifelong friendships have been made here! We have a great community here (both local and ex-pats), and you most likely will make friends quickly, and feel right at home in no time. I really need people who can stay a couple of months, minimum. It's super difficult to change teammates every few weeks!

There is lots to do in this beautiful fishing village from beach activities, to mountain biking, expat functions including poker nights, art classes, karaoke, sunday brunches, hanging out in our amazing pool or our second story deck with ocean views.
This is a great opportunity to integrate with the friendly local community and learn Spanish, Ecuadorian cooking, or about the amazing history and archeology in the area.

We enjoyed the sea, the pool, a huge cottage with kitchen and tv for ourselves.
We worked together with the housekeeper to paint some cottages, clean rooms and around the pool.
We had to make coffee in the morning and maintain the site clean or help the guests.
