  Greetings all! :-)
  
  Late Oct update: As it winds down into the winter season and things start to go quiet here, we're looking for a couple to stay here (ideally) for at least a couple of months to stay/work in our double decker bus, take care of the land and look after our cat if we're away.
  
  Due to the high volume of applications, please only respond if you have building/carpentry/landscaping experience.)
  
  If you're excited to live in nature by the ocean next to one of Portugal's finest surf beach destinations and be part of a fun community, this could be the ultimate workaway experience. We can offer you t live on a paradise plot of land just 200m from the beach (and 10 minutes walk from a village).
  
  We can also offer you access to a coworking and co-living space with a pool and regular community activities, such as yoga, surfing etc. So if you have personal online projects and also want a social life with maybe the odd bbq/party, this could also be the perfect place for spring/summer.
  
  Typical help could be tree planting, deck building, bus conversion work, carpentry, landscaping, building improvements, permaculture (later) and other varied mini projects on the land. It will vary from week to week as the project evolves.

  This village is a very Portuguese place and the local community spirit is strong. The locals are very friendly and happy to talk providing you can speak a little Portuguese. We can introduce you to the local surf culture here and take you to the main spots. There is a fishing and farming industry here and we can show you the hidden local fishing spots in addition to the best local restaurants to try the local cuisine such a Bacalau or Octopus Salad. If you are interesting in Portuguese classes, I can recommend my teacher to you (she may have time to teach). There is also yoga, functional and possibility for Apnea training with a Portuguese instructor who grew up here and loves to share and inform.

  You will be given your own private room depending on what is available ;-). Food will be up to you but you'll have access to a shared kitchen and groceries shops are just a ten minutes walk into the village. You can live very cheaply if you want to here.

  You can surf of course, or go kiting, walks on the nearby cliffs of beach, visit local attractions such as the historic towns of Obidos, Peniche or even Caldas which has things such as Cinemas etc. Lisbon is just an hour drive for those wanting a little more life on the weekends. There is a nearby eco resort that runs classes with Yoga, pilates etc that you are welcome to join us or attend by yourself (it's not expensive).
