Greetings all! :-)
So we're looking for video/photo content creators with a bit of a portfolio to join our project between now and Summer. There may be some other chores to get involved with but it would be 80% content. We've largely finished building a studio and elaborate coworking place, now we need to attract awesome new people to our community. The project is called Pipedream if you want to check it out in the usual places.
A little background info. We are a small coworking and coliving community (started the project about 3 yrs ago English and Spanish guy in our 30s). Having been largely focused on building and improving the project we have barely done any marketing. Now it's basically there we are looking for someone with skills and equipment to help us communicate to the world what we are about and what we can offer (ideally with some humour and style). Given that we have a music studio, we'd like to make music, surf, coliving/coworking content with music we've already been making so it's a chance to also potentially self promote. We want to attract digital nomads and creatives (even bands) looking to escape the city and enjoy nature (and probably surf too).
Everyone here works from their computer and the vibe is super chilled. Day to day, we may entertain ourselves, or eat or go surf together. Sometimes kite boarding. I drive to wherever the surf is pumping most days and manage my other work around this.
We have 2 separate buildings. In the small house we have a mezzanine area, wooden ceilings and a conservatory with lots of natural light for co working. The yard is full of plants to give a botanical vibe and is a great place to chill and hang in the sun. In the big house we have a pool and 2 coworking spaces plus the music studio.
For the most part we'd be working together or independently on a part time basis no real fixed schedule more progress based. So when things flow we'll try and be really productive and otherwise just crack on. You might be working 4 hours a day but could also be less. We'd have a weekly kick off/progress meeting and plan out what we're going to try and achieve, then crack on.
Our aim with workawayers is to start small with two weeks and see how it goes. There is the opportunity, potentially that this could be more of a longer term gig, but we'd have to see how it goes.
Please get in touch if you think this would be a good match for you! We'd love to see your portfolio! :-)

This village is a very Portuguese place and the local community spirit is strong. The locals are very friendly and happy to talk providing you can speak a little Portuguese. We can introduce you to the local surf culture here and take you to the main spots. There is a fishing and farming industry here and we can show you the hidden local fishing spots in addition to the best local restaurants to try the local cuisine such a Bacalau or Octopus Salad. If you are interesting in Portuguese classes, I can recommend my teacher to you (she may have time to teach). There is also yoga, functional and Apnea training with a Portuguese instructor who grew up here and loves to share and inform.
