Sergio stayed with us for about 5 months. He was very helpful and caring with my son. He also assisted him sometimes with homework. He was always happy to give a hand and was very flexible.

Our stay with Mamata and John was amazing. We instantly felt like home at their place. The work is quite easy, depending on your skills I guess. We draw something and cleaned and painted. The conversations were inspiring and we exchanged a lot. We loved their dog Rocky who needs your special attention :) don't hesitate to go there, also if you want to relax on a quite place. Would love to see you again :)

Our time here was full of new experiences and learning, beautiful landscapes, connections with interesting people, contact with nature and animals. Work usually started at 8am with cleaning the stables, and at 10am we went to the office to prepare for classes or we did work in the garden. We stopped for lunch between 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm and returned to afternoon classes between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm and worked until 7:00 pm, always eight hours a day. Weekends were free, unless we were required at the center. We worked hard and developed new skills, as well as challenged ourselves as teachers and non-native English speakers. We had to be adaptable and flexible, because the days were never the same, the organization of work was generally defined on the day and could be changed according to the urgency of the tasks, and we worked longer hours and on weekends if necessary. Anyway, Rachel allowed us to manage our time and made her apartment in Turin available to us on our free days. Work on weekends was compensated if not paid. She helped Caíque with Italian bureaucracy and introduced us to amazing people, like her wonderful team, Giorgio, Dani and Ramona (we have a lot to thank her for the amazing food!). We also had the pleasure of meeting several people who are/were part of this center, each with their own uniqueness and something to teach. Rachel is a creative and energetic person, she's willing to let you be a part of her life while you're there, and it's inspiring to see the passion she brings to her projects. As a workawayer, most of your time will be dedicated to the center, which is interesting for those looking for an immersive experience in the Workaway universe.

This workaway has been such an amazing experience and I think I couldn’t have found a better place to stay. I’ve spent two months here (April-May) and everybody has been nice and very welcoming from day one. The workaway is well organized and also established in the school, since many workaways have already been there before. Therefore people know what you are doing here and you’ll very soon become a part of the school community. The tasks usually consist out of cleaning, helping in the kitchen and of course all the workaways help with activities or join classes. The work in the kitchen was always fun, the staff is very welcoming and there’s generally a really nice vibe (also the food is very good). The teachers are also super nice and you’re always welcome to join whatever they are planning with the students. I’ve been there during exam season, so I wasn’t able to go to all of the classes but I still helped in the German class sometimes, joined the music class, the handcrafting class or Foodlab with Luca. (There’s a lot of fun and non traditional classes here in the school, which I liked a lot). I also really loved the weekends and the freetime activities. Most evenings there’s some games, soccer, hockey, waterfights or some other fun challenges. Sometimes theres also trips to the beach or to other places in Denmark (I joined the weekly beach trips, and excursions to Skagen and a wildlife park). Besides that it also nice to just have a chat with some students or join them if they’re doing something. It can take some time to get close to the students, but they are all really sweet, sometimes you just have to take the first step. The house we stayed at is a very cute place next to the school. I enjoyed living there with the other workaways. Usually there’s 2-5 people living there, all from different countries, which is a super nice opportunity to get to know people from all over the world. We also planned things together when we had a day or weekend of. There’s plenty of things to see in this area. Overall this was such an incredibly good experience and I will miss it a lot! A huge thanks to Luca, who was such a nice and caring host and all the other people there aswell. I would definitely recommend going there:)

I had the pleasure of staying with Anne for two weeks through Workaway, and it was an incredible experience! Anne was an incredibly welcoming and hospitable host. She made me feel like part of the family from the moment I arrived. I would highly recommend staying with Anne to anyone looking for a unique and rewarding Workaway experience. She is a wonderful host and a true friend. I will never forget my time with her.

I've completed this workaway almost 8 months ago and still reminisce the beautiful and wild landscape, hosted by the most generous, interesting, and authentic hosts, Charles et Hermine. This young French-Argentine couple offered me one the most incredible experiences within the world of the Gauchos and the Yungas, telling me about their fascinating lives there, full of unimaginable stories, allowing me to meet local gauchos working around the area, and trusting me to help around this vast finca in the jungle.

we had an amazing time volunteering on the island. Yann and his wife are such lovely people and his two children were a delight to teach. we taught Maths for two hours to their son, then we taught English and basic maths to their daughter and her friend. We worked Monday - Friday and had plenty of time to explore the island. There is a beautiful private beach on the accomdation where we had daily swims and you are very close to Zen beach, which was our favourite. You are also free to use the food in the kitchen and cook your own meals. We had the best time and very grateful for the experience! Thank You again for having us both!

I had the pleasure of spending two amazing months here in Tammissari from mid-March to mid-May. During my stay, my main tasks included renovation work like painting, gardening, helping in the kitchen and dining area, and they even let me assist with kombucha production, which was something I really wanted to do. As a volunteer, I had the opportunity to participate in many events organized by the center and enjoyed yoga classes twice a week. I learned to live in a community with residents and other volunteers from all over the world. Together, we traveled, cooked, and celebrated. It's hard for me to put into words how rewarding this experience was, and I've only scratched the surface of what I experienced. If you're interested, feel free to message me privately, but one thing is for sure—I want to return here once again enjoy the wonderful nature and the welcoming people. Thank you to the whole family for creating such a fantastic place! See you soon.

There are so many amazing aspects about GG’s farm but I will try to only say a few or I could write an entire book! On my first day with GG and her amazing animals I felt like I was apart of the family almost immediately. The warmth and love that GG shares made me feel at home as soon as I stepped onto the farm. I stayed for 3 weeks and there wasn’t a day that I didn’t enjoy working and hearing all about GG’s life experiences! Django the dog and Fluffy the cat were also another highlight, they are very sweet animals that reflect the love that GG spreads! There is nothing but good on GG’s farm and I definitely plan on visiting in the future!

Alison was an extraordinary host during our two-week stay. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home, welcoming us warmly into her house. The tasks she assigned us were simple and varied, allowing us to discover our passion for gardening and vegan cooking. Alison proved to be an exceptional cook, preparing delicious vegan meals for us that truly won us over. But that's not all - she was also a patient and attentive teacher, helping us significantly improve our English during our stay. Additionally, we had the opportunity to participate in a couple of French lessons held by her group, which allowed us to expand our linguistic horizons in a welcoming and stimulating environment. Finally, we cannot fail to mention the sweet and lively Coco, Alison's dog, who made our experience even more memorable. Overall, our stay with Alison was an extraordinary experience, allowing us to learn, grow, and have fun at the same time. We highly recommend that anyone spend time with her and be won over by her kindness, her passion, and her ability to create a welcoming and stimulating environment.

I had an excellent stay with Can and Sevda in the small village of Karainebeyli near Gelibolu, Turkey - I can't recommend them enough. It was a great first experience as a workawayer! Can and Sevda really appreciate cultural exchange and we had many interesting conversations, and they treated me like family from the first day onwards. I also got to practice my Turkish with them and they were very patient with me and helped me learn some new words. They are both excellent cooks and the meals were delicious, and I learned about new spices and cooking techniques from them. The work consisted of arranging the watering system for their vineyard and olive trees, then some light work staking the grape vines, and finally we also helped one of their friends plant olive trees on their new property. Some of the work was harder than others, but it all left me feeling very fulfilled at the end of the day. They live in an incredibly beautiful area, and the mountains, wildflowers, and blue sky were wonderful to see everyday. Can is also a great tour guide and over two days took me to Troy, the WWI historical sites around Gelibolu, and even a little hidden beach with the clearest water. I had a great experience with them and hope to see them again in the future.

Sarah and Tom joined our team late March and was here for a little more than 1 month. They were helping out with preparing the campsite for a new season, painting, gardening, cooking, cleaning and a lot of other project. About the work they were always making sure of that their tasks was completed and was selfgoing. They also had a lot of different skills and could both with indoor and outdoor work. They was working alongside 4-6 other volunteers and was easy going and social. A really nice couple to have at the campsite that i recomend to all other hosts!

Johanna was the perfect workawayer. She has very good English especially the technical English! She's always very willing and followed instructions. She worked extremely hard she was a superb vegan chef. And attentive to domestic chores. She fited right into the ethos here because she was politically active. We recommend her!
