    Description

We are a young French couple, Charles et Hermine, who came to Jujuy, a state located in north west Argentina in 2021 to take over the management of the family finca. Both barely two thirty old, with a little baby arrived in Argentina, we live in this finca of 2400 hectares of jungle-forest in the Yungas.

We are located in the middle of mountains covered by a luxuriant vegetation, with a rich biodiversity: more than 600 species of birds and also wild animals, like the peccary, tapir, monkey kai, puma, etc. Several gauchos live in the finca, in a traditional way, in the middle of their cows in semi-liberty.

We have built two lodges out of massive logs, equipped with all the conveniences to receive travellers in a wild and preserved environment, with a personalized service. Here, travellers enjoy an unforgettable experience: sleeping in a cabin with a panoramic view of the Yungas mountains, taking a bath in a private ecological Jacuzzi, exploring jungle trails or sampling traditional French cuisine.

We offer private jungle excursions for these travelers, horseback riding and hiking, and are looking for Workawayers to accompany groups with our local guide.

Actually, we have 3 locally paid staff for our hospitality activity. They are in charge of the cleaning of the lodges, the security of the place and to make the excursions.

During the daily tasks, we share the know-how: how to cook with a wood oven, to prepare an asado (Argentinian grill), the techniques of construction in adobe.

The nearest village, Santa Clara, is 10 km from the lodge. There are a few small shops: grocery stores, supermarkets, bars, etc. You can get there from the lodge by taking the afternoon bus, and then return to the finca either with the evening bus or with one of the Santa Clara cabs.

Access: the lodge is located 1h15 from San Salvador de Jujuy and 1h45 from Salta.
