I believe that travelling is living more lives. I feel more alive when I discover new places.
I had a normal life until 2025, in which I started travelling and living from stay to stay.
What I'm doing on Workaway is finding a host that shares my philosophy and wants to build a collaboration that we can repeat through time.
My dream is to build a lasting friendship and work together again and again through years. I mainly focus on the human connection we will have, and of course about work and tasks. I have a passion for meeting new people.

I have good manners, I respect everyone, I give before taking. I believe that peace is built everyday, one help at the time. We need peace and cooperation today and tomorrow. I'm a simple person, outgoing, into art, conversations and adventures.
As I had bad experience from past flirts during my stays, I assure you I will keep romance and sex out of my Workaway experience. You can read the 1 star review I left to a host about it.

I have a supervisor attitude: I seek to use creative problem solving and use my brain into helping you; I want to see the bigger picture while getting handier and handier. I also have a manager attitude when it's about running a team on things I have experience on.

I take pills for my health, so sometimes I will go to the pharmacy.

My interests in life gravitate around creativity: I study music, I write stories, I'm generally creative and like to jam with people of my kind. I'm also adventurous: I love hitchhiking, exploring places and make new friends.
The instruments I play are: bass, guitar, ukulele, keyboard, drums; I also sing. A one man band, but I have to walk a long road to become a great player and singer.
I love playing games, from board/card games to chess, othello and the like; also videogames; I'm versatile, what matters is to be happy together and grow our mind.

I have sense of humour, in facts all this introduction is quite too serious for me. I love making fun of myself and I hope you are linkeminded. I believe that self-irony is the greenest of all flags.

I love children and can easily get along with them. I babysit my cousin's kids smoothly and for hours each time. The few experiences with teenagers have always been positive: my first hosts were amazed of how I ended up jamming with the teenager neighbour that didn't talk to them for years!

I love animals of any kind. I only cook vegan food, I'm vegan, but I don't mind if you're not, I expect us to eat together! If you run a farm, I only ask you to not kill the animals during my stay.

I'm an atheist/pastafarian. I had an excessively rigid education, so now I'm the opposite! Very chill and open. I respect every life experience and belief. I don't mind if you're religious, as long as you respect my pastafarianism. And the fact that I'm bisexual.

I also run a travel blog, so I will ask you if you want to have an interview conversation, and if you let me do some videos to share online. Totally okay if you don't want.

«Riccardo has worked as a volunteer at Blushøjgård course and holiday center in the period March - mid-September [cor] 2025.

Blushøjgård is a Nonprofit humanitarian project, where the profits support humanitarian work in India.

Riccardo's work tasks have primarily been: weeding weeds in the yard, terraces, beds and the like - as well as various cleaning tasks.

Riccardo seeks precision in carrying out the tasks, confident in stopping and asking questions. He is patient, stable and dutiful.

As I believe also showing the bad side of the experience is a form in integrity, here you can have a glance to my past Workaway experiences that went super bad, all in 2025:
Christiania, CPH (Jan): cancelled last minute because the host didn't receive nor answer to any message until the very last day before joining; context: I was moving from Sicily to CPH;
Nykøbing Sjælland (Feb): just three days, kicked out with little notice because we were vegan;
Aarhus (Sep): kicked out with 1-day notice because, well, this time the host was right: they went on a 5-days trip and I worked too little, so when they came back they were angry; context: I had a bad mental breakdown, in facts after this experience I started a psychotherapeutic path that helped me ground, so from 2026 I finally became able to work again!
Poggio Mirteto (Oct): kicked out with 1-day notice, bargained to 3, because the host was frightened by the fact that my girlfriend was taking pills for her health, and threatened us.

Last but not least: a great experience I had in 2025 (Oct) and 2026 (Jul-Aug) from an amazing host in Trustrup: the pirate guy! We have been building his own ship together and done a lot of other works, I'm building his Workaway profile, so you're gonna see this soon!

I am a native Italian speaker and I can teach you with Entropic Method; that is, random speeches. I lived in English-speaking countries for 4 years, I'm in the B2-C1 layer. I also speak some Spanish, though no higher than a B1.
