Description
I am an Italian researcher in ecology and after having studied in Italy and abroad for a while I got a position in Avignon.

In 2014 I started renovating an house with a 100m2 garden in the very near centre of Avignon (500 m from the middle age walls). Most of the hardest building work has been done with professionals and the help of volunteers.
Nowadays I do not have many things to do but an help with the garden, some painting and general tidying up of the house is welcome.
I host for short periods, from 3 days up to 2 weeks.
p.s. I also have 5 bikes that always need some fixing ;)

Fynn and I spend a nice time at this host. The Hoster wasn't home often and we can organise or day by ourselves. Avingon is a pretty city and we meet chilled people there. The host was good organised. You will enjoy your time there:)

Luzy and Finn were great guests. They spent one week at mine. I was at home only a couple of days but the could work in autonomy. Luzy made some cleaning and Finn he could repair and fix everything!!! I hope they also could enjoy the garden and the nice Mediterranean weather. Good luck to both of you

I stayed with Daniele for 5 days, he was only there for the first two. He left me some tasks to do in the garden while he was gone, it kept raining all day for the last days I was in avignon so it was pretty hard to work outdoors. Coralie & Amandine helped us in cleaning up all the house. They worked with enthusiasm and no interruption ( I guess ;)....i was not there to check ) for one entire day and did an excellent work. I suggest anybody to trust these two Belgian friends!

Very very very well educated and good workers. They have been at my place only 2 days and they painted a very big room, they cleaned up everything and even cooked spaghetti for an italian eheheh.

I hosted Damiano for 8 days and they really passed quickly. Even if he was not expert in renovation (and me neither ;))....we spent some times hard working, planting trees, destroying old buildings and setting wall paper. He is also very indepedent and enjoyed his time visiting around alone. I absoloutly recommend him as a great guest!
