Hello / Bonjour!

My name is Eric Bourgault. I am a friendly, young-at-heart French Canadian.

When I am not working in seasonal hospitality or on wellness projects, I volunteer to help hosts who need someone pragmatic and trustworthy to get things done.

For years, volunteering has been the best way for me to contribute to unique projects, discover local traditions, and enjoy the benefits of genuine human connection (while practicing what I preach).

What you can expect from me:
A clean, healthy, and physically fit helper with a strong work ethic. I have years of experience as a landscaper, painter, and mover. Bonus: I am a natural problem solver.

I am well-organized, highly effective, and resourceful. I enjoy being surrounded by animals and children, and I always have interactive activities (like laughter yoga or circus skills) ready to promote more playtime and less screen time.

Communication and working style:
As a neurodivergent individual, I thrive on direct communication, clear project expectations, and proper working conditions. I value transparency, mutual respect, and clear boundaries on every project.

I have an eco-friendly green thumb with years of professional experience as a landscaper/gardener. I can take care of any of your chores, from cleaning and organizing to fixing anything inside or outside your house. Just ask!

On the fun side, I have years of experience in the entertainment world and can utilize any of my circus skills to entertain your kids! I can also teach French and lead Laughter Yoga sessions!

If you're interested, my goal is to encourage people to take some time away from devices and reconnect with nature. Therefore, I can offer you any of my Laughter Yoga or Digital Wellness workshops.

Amazing experience! Joana,Tiago as mush as their 3 kids were very welcoming from the time I arrived to the time I left. I CANNOT RECOMMEND this guy as a Workawayer. Eric was supposed to arrive at 12pm. He then called to say he would arrive at 1. He was biking over from a nearby village 20 mins away, so I thought, ok, no problem. He ended up arrived at 2:30 PM (!) having got lost despite having GPS on his phone.
