Sharon is an amazing human being and anyone would be blessed to have the pleasure of working with her!! She was such a help to me during a time when I needed it the most (pregnant with a toddler). She is great with kids, organized, clean, upbeat and thoughtful. Most of the time I didn’t even need to ask her for anything as she seems to always anticipate what I needed, very proactive. I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without her and would 100% recommend her to other hosts 🤗 thank you so much Sharon, I hope we meet again someday in some corner of the world

Bérénice was friendly and helpful at our farm. She worked hard on her English skills and improved while she was at our house. We enjoyed the winter wonderland of Canada together. She was easy to get along with and made friends with others easily We shared laughter over a glass of wine and a few horse rides as well She always had a smile on her face and we would welcome her back anytime ♥️🇨🇦

We are so going to miss these two. Not only are they an incredible couple and fantastic humans in general, but they truly raised the bar for what it means to be a workawayer. From cleaning and keeping the kitchen in shape to engaging with our guests and lifting the overall vibe of the hostel — whatever needed to be done, just name it. And all of that while we all were cracking jokes and laughing about stuff. They didn’t just “help” — they became part of our team. Their energy was amazing. Hosting them was an absolute pleasure, and any future host lucky enough to have them will quickly see what we mean. Thank you both for everything — you will always have a home here.

It was amazing 2 weeks ın these cozy , warm and hospital place. I spent such a great time with very kind volunteers and staff. I felt like I am ın my home. Thank you for all memories. It ıs also located ın the heart of beautiful Georgetown. I highly recommend there. ❤️❤️❤️

Julia was a fantastic volunteer who spent two weeks here. She was caring, dependable, and really connected with the horses and the team. Julia jumped into all tasks with enthusiasm and brought a positive, friendly energy that everyone appreciated. We’d be happy to welcome her back anytime!

being at Rich and Therese's farm was the most wonderful and learning-rich environment I've ever been in. They are kind people that have a wonderful diversity when it comes to the community they live in and around. I learned so much in the two months that I was with them, and they do everything they can to make you feel at home. They have so much to offer with their culture, having guests besides their workawayers and always an entertaining evening. They were very flexible with my hours, and let me work in the mornings and evening to beat the heat. It was the best time. I'll miss them and hope to come back!

Estuve en casa de Sonia y Miguel alrededor de 5 días! Debido a nuestros itinerarios acordamos en eso, ya que yo estaba terminando otro Workaway en Buenos Aires y no pude llegar antes, y ellos se estaban mudando a Córdoba en los próximos días. El trabajo fue muy ligero y entretenido; ayudé a empacar algunas cosas para su mudanza y organizar maderas y decoraciones. La mejor parte de mi estadía fue compartir y conocer a los fabulosos anfitriones! :) La casa y el quincho son muy bonitos y estaban llenos de detalles que contaban historias de vida y de viajes. La comida también estuvo muy rica siempre. El ambiente en la casa era sereno y relajado, y por las tardes acompañé a Sonia a pasear a Simba, un perrito muy cordial. También Simba fue mi asistente, junto a la gorda (una gata), cuando trabajé un poco en el jardín! Disfruté mucho de esta estadía. Me gustó experimentar una vida más tranquila un poco alejados de la ciudad y las masas. También aproveché la cercanía de la casa para ir a explorar la isla Tigre. Le recomendaría a cualquiera conocer a Sonia y Miguel, que además de ser personas muy interesantes e inteligentes, te hacen sentir como en familia desde el primer contacto. Son re buena onda y siempre tuvimos temas para conversar. Muchas gracias por todo!! Siempre que necesiten algo en lo que yo pueda ayudar, me pueden escribir! Recordaré con cariño las meriendas con cafecito en la tarde! Jaja. Un abrazo.

Clara was a truly delightful presence during her stay with us. She blended in so naturally with the rhythm of farm life and quickly formed a beautiful bond with everyone here—especially our animals! She was especially friendly and caring with our beloved dog Tiya, and shared a lovely connection with our horses Jhanvi, Pushpa, and our playful pony Bella. Her calm energy and gentle approach made her a favourite not only among the team but also among our four-legged family. We’re grateful for the warmth, care, and positive energy she brought to the farm. Clara will always have a place here, and we wish her all the best on her journey ahead!

Bryanne was very helpful, outgoing and happy. We enjoyed sharing our space with her. She will be a great addition to any volunteer team

We couldn’t have asked for a better Workaway experience! P. and Stuart were absolutely fantastic – warm, welcoming, and thoughtful hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We really enjoyed getting to know them, especially our evening chats over dinner (they’re amazing cooks, by the way!). The work was very reasonable – mostly outdoor garden maintenance – and we always felt appreciated. Our accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, with the fridge thoughtfully stocked when we arrived. We had such a great time that we ended up staying a week longer than planned! We’re so grateful for the experience and would highly recommend them to any future Workawayers.

We had a wonderful 3 weeks with Helmer, Lorena and Matias in San Gil. From the moment we walked in, they welcomed us and it felt like home. Helmer and Lorena are incredibly kind, open and generous. Matias is a wonderful kid and already has a very impressive level of English. The schedule varied from day to day but included - taking Matias or picking Matias up from school, having conversations in English and teaching English. We shared many meals together and the family were very kind in taking us around San Gil and to a beautiful finca. They were very helpful in talking to us in Spanish and sharing information about their way of life in Colombia. San Gil is a beautiful city and in our free time we enjoyed walking around the streets, drinking tinto in the plaza, having spanish lessons. There are lots of adventurous sports around the area if you are feeling brave. Overall we had a wonderful experience and feel privileged to have met this beautiful family and experience life as a local! We look forward to crossing paths again in the future!

We loved hosting Sophie for the summer! She was a great addition to our hostel! Sophie was a housekeeping powerhouse and always had a great attitude. We hope she will come back soon!

Tatiana stayed with us for two weeks in summer 2025 and helped with so many summer farm tasks, each one done skillfully, thoughtfully and with focus. It was easy and truly enjoyable to host Tatiana, who clearly cares about walking in the world in a good way and I am so grateful that we got to share time together. My family especially enjoyed the traditional food Tatiana made and shared with us, and the life stories and teachings she carries with humility and grace. We had fun canning together, going swimming at the lake, and going to a local festival. Come back T!!!

We were visited by a friendly and exotic Danish woman accompanied by an Argentinian recently raised in Denmark and Sweden. They are kind and sensitive people. Line is a textbook Nordic woman, methodical, hard-working, and determined. Juan has that blend of southern flavor, cooked late with Nordic method. Their happiness was palpable, their desire to find a place and personal project in the world. They are easy-going people, lovers of conversation. They met Luna, a delightful Canarian woman who rescued them in her beautiful van. She wished them the best and luck on life's fun and long journey.

Top notch Work away experience. Enthusiastic, diligent and hardworking couple. For a young couple they are very worldly and we shared many interesting conversations. These two went beyond was was expended and we really enjoyed their company.

Denis was for 14 days on hour place and we accomplished quite a bit He is very friendly and likes to help where ever you need help and he is very fast learner Helping with cutting trees,landscaping and pruning and doing some cooking ,we like to thank him and wish him the best in his future travelling,live by your dreams

It was a pleasure to host Clara & Alessandro. They are both very easy to get on with, and do all the work given to them to the very best of their ability. They are also keen to learn and share new experiences. They had to work in very hot and humid weather but had no problem putting up with the tough conditions. We would certainly be happy to host them again and would have no problem recommending them to any future host. We wish them all the best in their future travels and adventures and hope to see them again sometime in the future should they return to Japan.

I had the best stay with Dee! She was really knowledgeable about gardening and I learnt a lot. All the food was amazing and lots of it from the garden. She's a very kind host to stay with, and was even nice enough to drive me up to Mt. Taranaki so I could do a hike!

What a magical place! I volunteered here for three weeks with two other friends, and we had the loveliest time! We immediately felt welcomed by Maria, Marco, and the kids. We worked for about 5 hours a day, guided by Marco who is a great teacher. The work was interesting and varied - I learnt about gardening, eco-buildings, and a lotttt about rendering with limestone! Maria is also an amazing cook, meal time was always the highlight of my day. Our free time consisted of swimming in the river (post-work swim was heavenly), hanging out with other volunteers from neighbouring projects, slacklining, and playing cards with the kids who are a pleasure to be around. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and having us :))
