Angelina stayed for more than 2 weeks at the farm. It was a pleasure having her help around the farm and she learnt many new skills. She is quick to adapt to the local environment and had the opportunity to help out at the village mosque during EidulAdha, cleaning and cutting beef meat to be diatributed. She is welcome to come back should she pass this way again.

It was a great pleasure to host Edmund & Ling Ling for a week. The fact that they come from a faraway culture made it more interesting. Every evening, and night, making Asian dishes, and having conversations was enjoyable. They are fun, friendly, and above all well-humored. It was always pleasant to have them around. Feeling truly lucky to have had the chance to share time with them.

It was such a pleasure hosting and having Sarah at the farm. She knows her work well having worked in various farms before. She is reliable, dependable, proactive .. all very important for farm work. She is ever helpful, always lending a hand and such a pleasure to have her at the farm. If she ever comes this way again, you are always welcome to come by..

I had a great time staying with Hwayoung and Param (the dog). She always made sure to make me feel welcome and appreciated. She also made sure to communicate her expectations clearly and that I understood what the tasks were. I helped with taking care of Param, chopping wood and housework as well as spending some time with her students for English lessons. I was there during the winter so there wasn't much gardening to do. We did some sight seeing as well and I got to meet some new people as well! The area is really beautiful and we often took walks outside. It is a rural area so it's mostly quiet and peaceful which I really liked. All in all I can only recommend staying with Hwayoung (and Param), I promise you'll have a great time!

Louis & Mathilde stayed for 6 weeks and that went too quickly! They where both fabulous and great to be with. Not only did they take such good care of our park and garden, they also became good friends and where great company. Mathilde also joined the local football team where our niece is playing in the second national division and Mathilde will be missed by the whole team. We already miss you both and wish you all the best on your next stay in Norway. We hope you will come back at some point. Thank you for EVERYTHING

Josh and Claire were delightful. We had a wonderful time with them and were sad to see them leave. We did get them to stay a bit longer. They were excellent workers, full of energy and concern for us old folks. They did not just do what we asked of them, but looked around for what needed doing. Josh insisted on doing the dishes after meals and he was a pro at it. Claire regularly swept and tidied up. The main job we had them do was to put a large water barrel in place up the hillside, leveling the site and building a base of wood from an old sandbox . That involved taking the sandbox apart and lugging the wood up a steep hillside. They also did path repair and garden work. In turn we introduced them to kayaking, sauna prep, and wooden jigsaw puzzles.

This host is amazing. She takes care of her guests and is the most heartwarming person i have ever met. You can expect good vegetarian food, specially her salats are really nice. Most I liked our trips with the dog after dinner. The work was comprising of removing brambels and some kind of wine on uneven terrain. The 2 weeks i was there went by like 2 great days.

I volunteered at the meditation centre during May and part of June, and I truly loved my time there. One of the most valuable aspects for me was being able to join the meditation classes, I learned so much and deepened my interest in this beautiful practice, which I definitely plan to keep studying. The centre is a calm and peaceful place in the heart of a vibrant city like London, which I really appreciated. It felt like a perfect fit for me. I also had the chance to meet people from all over the world while helping out, which made the experience even more enriching. My tasks included housekeeping, flyering, and assisting in different classes and events. I enjoyed all of it and always felt that my help was appreciated. Rob is a lovely person to work with, kind, understanding, and full of positive energy. I’m very grateful for this experience and highly recommend volunteering here.

Hi everyone!! My girlfriend and I spent 3 fantastic weeks with Vesna and Willie in Seca Reka, yes you read SECA REKA. it's a very small village 7km away from Kosjeric (very cute town) and the village is so calm, relaxing and completely surround by beautiful nature. Our work was very varied, from cutting the grass and painting, to creating a fence and preparing the ground for planting. Vesna cooked for us most nights and she provided us with food for other meals. One time we had a fantastic bbq and all of us contributed doing something and it was one of that days that I'm going to bring with me! Moreover, they took us with them several time to Kosjeric and Pozega to allow us to explore new places. We also visited the surroundings by ourselves and it was a very nice experience because everything is hilly and green. We really had fun every day. We were joking a lot and sharing experiences and cultural exchanges. Willie and I practiced my German skills and Vesna helped me introduce me to the local language. For accomodation we had a complete cabin for ourselves, so it was perfect for us because we are digital nomads and we could manage our schedule and our workplace very good. The internet connection works very well so there are no excuses not to work! Also, there are 4 beautiful dogs, I don't know how many cats and a lot of crazy insect around of the house. So, if you want to immerse yourself in a cultural exchange, try a very nice and awesome experience and feel happy you should give them a chance.

A great way to get submerged in and learn about Colombian culture as well as being part of this wonderful family. Everyone was extremely generous with their time to explain and answer all questions I had. Gloria cooked delightful meals every day and Juan drove me around the region and even let me experience a coffee making and tasting course - I can actually make coffee now. The work is easy and largely outside which makes for a good night sleep. If you want to be part of an inviting family and experience Colombian culture close up, this is definitely a great workaway.

I stayed with Clary for almost 2 weeks and I enjoyed it! My work included weeding for about 4 hours a day in Clary's garden, which is really beautiful. It's great if you love nature (also the awesome Greenway is right behind her house)! Clary taught me a lot about the area, as well as about Europe in general, and best of all, she cooked absolutely DELICIOUS food! Clary is accommodating and nice to chat with. I would recommend staying with her!

Eliana is an impressive and adaptable person. She showed a genuine eagerness to learn and embraced new experiences with an open heart — especially when it came to learning Thai cooking. Even though she mainly focused on making Pad Kra Pao, she mastered it quickly and made it delicious! My parents loved her cooking, which says a lot. During her stay, the weather was rainy and limited our farm activities, but Eliana adjusted beautifully to life in Thailand. She was kind, respectful, and always willing to help. We were truly happy to welcome her as part of our extended farm family.

I spent a month teaching here and it was an amazing experience. Jhon and his family were very kind and welcoming. They were always available to help and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The students were a joy to work with, respectful, curious, and eager to learn. I really appreciated the opportunity to be part of the community and would absolutely recommend this Workaway to others. Thank you to Jhon and his family for everything.

Staying with Robert & Cherike was an absolute joy! They made us feel right at home and we were happy to connect with them in a deep level from the start. We truly enjoyed Robert's "therapy sessions", his perfect fried eggs and the early mornings coffee. Cherike is so cheerful and her laughter is contagious. We also appreciated learning from her interesting approach to family constellations. Thank you guys for all the delicious meals and attentive gestures (you're definitely feeders :D ). They were always genuinely interested in our life stories and how we felt, and they shared their life experiences with us as well. We learned a lot from them, from practical skills to new ways of understanding emotions. We loved our own cabin and the privacy they gave us. It was a real treat waking up with all the animals and especially with Compa and Jakome coming to say good morning. In 3 weeks time you have conquered our hearts as well. We will definitely meet up again! All our love and beijos, Jhoy & Armèl
