Samuele is truly a beautiful soul — someone you feel lucky to meet and would gladly welcome into any home. From the very beginning, he proved to be calm, proactive, and extremely reliable. Despite his young age, he shows great maturity, strong practical and construction skills, and excellent organizational ability. After just a few days together, I felt completely at ease leaving my home in his care while I traveled with my family — and he handled everything perfectly, together with the other workawayers, creating a great atmosphere. He is easy and pleasant to be around, respectful of personal space, yet happy to share meaningful and fun moments. We spent time together both before I left and after I returned, also with my father and family, enjoying dinners, celebrations, and outings. What stood out even more was his natural connection with animals — they all loved him, especially the goat. This says a lot about his kind, patient nature, and I believe he is equally great with people, including children. I also helped him a bit with organizing his trip, which I was truly happy to do — he is absolutely someone worth having in your home. Meeting him was a real pleasure. He brings a beautiful energy, is 100% trustworthy, and I would recommend him without hesitation — as if he were my own son.

We stayed with Rosie during the last weeks of March at the tail end of our traveling. The stay was really lovely. Rosie was warm and inviting throughout our entire time. We found the work meditative, from sorting and chopping wood to help prepare for their Winter, to pulling small pines from the forest. Some of the days had heavy rainfall during which Rosie allowed us to work inside or gave us leave from our work early so as to not get soaked. Rosie has an abundance of knowledge to share and we really enjoyed sharing stories with her. We would recommend this work exchange to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the local culture and create meaningful relationships. Also she is a wonderful cook!

Niklas was a wonderful workawayer for us. We loved his company and help, 10/10. We know he will be a wonderful addition to any situation and will always give his best, as that’s his attitude. He is very skilled with technology but equally good with manual work. We were most impressed by his ability to play and interact with our 3 year old. He really put a lot of effort into the interaction and we appreciated this. Thanks Niklas! It was busy when he was with us, and unfortunately we didn’t get to do many things other than work through the shearing. Hopefully Niklas will visit us again when he studies in Australia.

Sammy and Mila came to help me just for three days with some garden projects. These jobs were rather dull and repetitive, however they applied themselves without complaint and did an excellent job. I enjoyed their company as they were both very bright and positive, with excellent english. I found them very reliable and punctual and generous with their contribution. I can recommend them as excellent helpers that are good company.

Chloe’s goal was to please. She was very friendly and an enthusiastic worker and team member, and a lot of fun. But don’t let her pick the movies! As well as performing all the normal daily tasks, Chloe also got stuck into additional projects, especially with the resurrection of my long-neglected veggie garden. We will be eating healthy vegetables well into the future thanks to her. Chloe’s biggest stand-out expertise was revealed in the kitchen. OMG. Her food creations, experiments and crazy big effort provided some of the best vegan banquets my home has ever had. Her final banquet was prepared just an hour before her departure after 2 months of volunteering. Such was her dedication to contribute. The other volunteers and I were so, so spoilt with her food. Chloe is welcome back into my home (and kitchen!) any time.

when I arrived in Tasmania Rob and Emma welcomed me with warmth and care ! Their farm is still growing but is an amazing project. I had a wonderful time with them and the other workaway. I'll remember them as my first workaway experience as one of the best ! thanks to them I'll carry on with this way of travelling!

I had a great stay. I was longing to emerge myself in nature and it was the best place. I've spend especially a lot of time with flor, and overall they really made my stay being 2 very special weeks. Flor and martín made a lot of things possible for me, also they introduced me to the neighbourhood and showing me the nature and the people they call their home. What a special place, I'm looking forward to coming back someday. Lots of love<3

I could not have dreamt for a better place for my first workaway experience. Samu and Florrie welcomed me with kindness and openess, we shared lots of quality time, amazing food and great moments together. The dogs are so lovely, sometimes a bit crazy, but overall they have so much love to give. The farm is very peaceful (when the dogs are calm), beautiful with a pool and beautiful nature surroundings. Tlayacapan is also a very pretty town you can walk to. Work wise, be aware that you'll take care of many chickens but you can learn fast (was my first time handling Chickies). I also helped with Bnb tasks and cleaning the garden / area. I also spent many hours painting 2 murals, that was a great opportunity for me to experience this! Gracias por todo ❤️

Jessica is a truly kind, pure, and gentle person. She carried out all her tasks with great dedication, precision, and reliability. She was always on time, worked neatly, and maintained a cheerful attitude. In her collaboration with another volunteer - which was not always easy - Jessica remained very calm and relaxed. She handled the situation with respect and calmness, clearly demonstrating her strength of character. Jessica is always welcome to return in a calm and comfortable way, and I can wholeheartedly recommend her.

Estoy agradecida por esa experiencia de vivir en el campo de Mati, Karen, Eli y Abi por un mes. Aprendí un montón! Sobre la cosecha de papas, que era mi trabajo principal e igual favorito. También sobre gallinas, los seres que al principio me irritaban por su nerviosidad les cogí cariño y Mati me enseñó mucho sobre ellas. He aprendido sobre los desafíos y las penas de vivir en el campo, tanto como de las maravillas que pasan como el nacimiento de un pollito, un pancito de Karen recién horneado sobre la estufa de leña o el olor a mermelada de mora. Eli era mi fiel compañera, compartimos dibujando, haciendo circo y descubriendo la zona juntas. Gracias por dejar crecer y cultivar mi cable tierra. Siempre les recordaré!

It was a great Time with Sophie and some other people at this beautiful Place! We were working different things like construction, wood and claywork and it was quite flexible on how and when you worked. Sophie was really caring for everyone having a good time and feeling comfortable. Hence everyone was motivated and feeling good. We had cozy evenings cooking and chilling together, felt kind of familial. It is a really beautiful place with nice nature around. Thanks and see you soon Sophie:)

I felt to be part of this beautiful unique family for the weeks I was there. Annabel is a very creative person and there's always something different to do. From gardening to weaving or taking care of the beautiful animals. It's not a holiday, it's a real experience of sharing life with good spirits. The art is everywhere, the silence and the positive chaos. The airstream accommodation is just terrific. Thanks again and see you soon.

I had a great workaway experience at katherines and sebastians house! the family is very open and it was easy to connect with their three gorgeous kids🥹I can really recommend that workaway host!!!

I had a really wonderful experience staying here and would highly recommend Caterina to anyone considering a Workaway. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly warm and welcoming, and she went out of her way to make me feel like part of the family rather than just a guest. One of the highlights of my stay was the amazing food she provided and prepared. Every meal was thoughtful, generous, and absolutely delicious—it really added to the whole experience and showed how much she cares about the people she hosts. She was also very appreciative of the work I did, which made everything feel genuinely rewarding. There was clear communication, fair expectations, and a relaxed, positive atmosphere that made the work enjoyable. On top of that, she kindly took the time to show me around and brought me to see different places in the area, which I really appreciated—it made the experience even more special and memorable. A special mention also has to go to Hilde the dog, who was an absolute joy to be around. She was so friendly and pleasant, and I really enjoyed spending time playing fetch with her—it was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with a kind, generous, and thoughtful host. I’m very grateful for my time here and would happily return in the future. Thank you, Caterina!

Leander is a lovely young man. His carpentry work was fabulous. Such a great help for me. He has a quiet kind thoughtful disposition. He is very easy to get along with easy to please. I enjoyed having him here I am very greatful for his good work ethic. Thank you Leander ! I recommend him as a solid workaway, trustworthy indeed.

Pia stayed with us for 2 weeks and what can I say… she is a very happy and thoughtful person, full of energy and conversations. She cooked good meals and prepared delicious coffe with her cinnamon touch for us :) She knows how to do a task independently after explaining which does make working together so much easier and fun. Also we had a good time meeting the neighbors, playing games and going on a hike. I would always welcome her back again! have a good time in chile, dear Pia.
