Description
I live on a rural property, I am a director on the school and teach classes on basket weaving and woven sculptures. My 2 acre vineyard has just died so I will be taking this out and replanting with maybe grapes, but less, and willow. I love my garden, walking the dog and coaching Special Olympic xcountry ski athletes.
Most of the work on this property is from April to October. The lake is not far away and swimming in the summer is daily.Types of help and learning opportunities

I have lived in England , France , Australia, New Zealand and now Canada. And travelled through many others, I enjoy meeting people from around the world.
I am a National coach with Special Olympics and my 26 year old son is an athlete.
As a director for the school I believe in sharing knowledge for crafts and skills that nurture creativity and community.Help
I would like help in the garden, helping out with projects, housework, loving the over friendly golden lab,Jake .
Usually doing tasks alongside me unless I have other commitments and lots of hiking opportunities around the valley with Jake and I.
In return a comfy private bedroom, all meals , lessons in basket weaving and other crafts.Languages

Happy to help travellers learn or improve their English. And also appreciate practicing my spoken FrenchAccommodation
I have a private spare room in the house and a quaint ‘74 camper. Sometimes a ‘69 27 foot Airstream is also available.
Bathroom is shared. I can adapt cooking for all preferences, I eat a lot of vegetarian dishes but enjoy meat on occasions too. What else ...
A car is not essential. A bus stop is a 25 minute walk down the road ( or I can give you a ride)and a direct bus takes you all through the valley on your days off.
I am up early every day, walking the dog before starting work around the garden or weaving in the studio . I’m not a night owl, but enjoy a pint and a night of live music on occasion. No smoking inside.A little more information
