Par où commencer… Un immense merci à Dika et Yoan de m’avoir accueillie et de m’avoir fait sentir comme à la maison. Dès les premiers jours, j’ai été intégrée à la famille et je repars avec de très beaux souvenirs. Je me suis attachée aux enfants presque instantanément. Ils ont entre 3 et 6 ans, ils sont curieux, adorables et pleins d’énergie. Les tâches sont très raisonnables : aider comme on peut, jouer avec eux, les accompagner dans leurs activités et passer du temps avec eux. J’ai aussi beaucoup aimé échanger en anglais avec eux et voir leur curiosité grandir. Merci également aux « Umi » de l’école pour leur gentillesse et leur patience malgré la barrière de la langue. L’ambiance est vraiment familiale et bienveillante. Une très belle expérience humaine que je recommande sincèrement. Je garderai une place spéciale pour cette famille et tous ces petits sourires

Marcus and Sarah were great host. They made me feel welcome, were great to talk to and were really supporting one for exploring local attractions. The work was diverse and fun and the accomadation great. I had a great two weeks and am thankful for this opportunity

Aiden and Bree stayed with us for 10 days, and from the moment they arrived, we became one team. They are the kind of people who don’t mind getting their hands dirty while bringing an incredible level of professionalism to everything they do. They created amazing drone footage and content for our camp, which will be valuable for years to come. Bree has a great eye for marketing and helped schedule numerous social media posts, while Aiden assisted with setting up our Airbnb and other booking platforms, and we have already started receiving reservations thanks to his work. What makes them truly special is their genuine desire to leave a positive impact wherever they go. They are hardworking, honest, friendly, and incredibly easy to get along with. They are not afraid to jump in and help with whatever is needed, and they always do so with a positive attitude. Aiden and Bree are among those rare people who leave a place better than they found it. They made a lasting contribution to our camp, and we are grateful for everything they have done. We would welcome them back anytime and highly recommend them to any host looking for reliable, talented, and wonderful people.

It was a great pleasure to host our two wonderful French friends Valentin and Mathilde. They were excellent workers and helped us to create gardens in our new home. Together they worked on building wicking beds and a hot compost for the garden, and were always eager to help in thre many small tasks of our daily lives. We recommend them unreservedly as great workaway guests with a strong work ethic as well as being the best of people. Good luck to both of you.

A great stay (2 weeks); as a workawayer, I got a whole small house to myself by the plot where Tom grows corn, potatoes, grapes, and other fruits and vegetables. Hours were 15 per week, divided as I chose. I usually got up early, around 4:45, but this wasn't compulsory. An electric off-road bike was available, which is good for riding in the hills and valleys around. In the vicinity are several supermarkets, a Mandai arcade/second-hand store, an Ainu museum, and several onsen. Altogether, a wonderful experience.

Sarah was absolutely delightful to host. We had such a lovely time hanging out as she’s so easy going and helpful. She’s done so many incredible things in her life and was great with our kids. Sarah was keen, diligent and independent when completing the project we’d agreed on and we wish we could have hosted her longer!! Thank you Sarah!

We had planned for 2 weeks, but in the end, we stayed for a whole month, which flew by in a flash. We fell in love with the place and the animals... but that's not all! Andrea is super funny and enthusiastic, it’s a real pleasure to spend time with her. We worked in the garden, built an enclosure and a shelter, but we also made videos to promote a room she rents, as well as a website. Outside of Sacha House, we raided the pastry shop next to the market multiple times, went on expeditions into the mountains and to Cochabamba, played Ultimate Frisbee, went to see the Christ statue, etc. I don't think we need to say any more, but we can't leave out the incredible open kitchen. To sum it up, we highly recommend it, an absolute must!

I had a wonderful experience hosting Shane and working with him. He is a dedicated and responsible teacher who genuinely cares about the children and builds positive relationships with them. His patience, kindness, and supportive attitude created a welcoming learning environment for our students. Shane also contributed many valuable ideas and activities that enriched the program and helped keep the children engaged and motivated. Beyond his teaching role, he was respectful, reliable, and a pleasure to work with at all times. A special thanks goes to him for his excellent cooking skills and his generosity in sharing delicious food with everyone. I am truly grateful for his contributions and would gladly recommend him to any future host. I wish him all the best in his future adventures!

I thought I have done this. Apparently not. Even it's been a year after Corinne's visit to us, we still vividly remember her stay with us. We had a great time for few days together. Corinne was going so well with my family. I was also impressive with her vigor at her life stage. She was so actively eager to experience more and meet people. She also helped me a lot on speaking English. I wish her all the best, and love to meet her someday.

This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who wants to discover Goa beyond the tourist hotspots. Alim is a fantastic host who gives you plenty of freedom and trusts you to manage your own schedule. The work is fair and flexible, leaving lots of time to explore Panjim and the rest of Goa.

Staying with Matk and his family was a relaxing and enjoyable experience for us. Mark, Kana and their three kids are kind and lovely people. Even though we didn't get to spend much time together, they were always open for a chat, gave us good tips and took us out to help their neighbours on their lands. The profile is totally accurate and we appreciate that we had such a clear idea of what to expect from the beginning. Mark was a very good communicator and promt to reply. The work we did was varied - some gardening, some construction etc. It felt empowering to be trusted with this independence and autonomy. In your own you can go down to the lake to swim, visit Kyoto or explore the nearby mountains. A great location and fair deal for the independently minded traveller. Thank you Mark and Kana for opening up you home. All the best to you two and your family. :)

I recently stayed with Raphaël and his family from June 3 to June 10. On the day I arrived, Raphaël kindly picked me up at the Aix-les-Bains train station and took me back to his place in Trévignin. The house is beautiful, with an expansive backyard and pool. You get an outstanding view of the surrounding mountains and can even see a sliver of Lac du Bourget. My accommodation included a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen, all of which were modern and very well-kept. In the mornings and into the afternoon, my primary job was to mow the grass. I would get up around 7:45, eat breakfast with the family, and then work until lunch time around 12:30. Each day, I ended up working about five to six hours- sometimes a little more. By working more at the beginning, I was rewarded with my last two full days off, during which I was able to explore and enjoy the surrounding area. Over the course of my stay, Raphaël and I developed a bond and enjoyed quality time together. We ate meals with each other, took a challenging bike ride to the top of Mont Revard, watched a movie with the kids, and he even took me climbing for the first time. Overall, my first Workaway experience was made completely by Raphaël and his family. I could not have wished for a better exchange, as everyone was very hospitable and great company. If you find yourself in this area, I would certainly recommend!

My time with Bjarni was simply amazing! Having other volunteers there really makes the cultural exchange more enriched. The work is quite simple, and Bjarni is very flexible so we can be outside on adventures when the weather is nice. He is very warm, welcoming, faire and generous, and has so much storytelling. I would do this again!

Thank you so much for all. It was amazing hosting you. We had a 360 degrees experiences. We learned so much from you; we found new friends; you were so willing to help; you had flexiblity, knowledges, curiosity, ovservation; you were so cool with our little son. All was much more above all we could imagine. We are very grateful for every thing and we wish you a lot of good workaways because you are the Best guests.

We stayed with Deb and Andy for approximately a week. I (Angela) helped clean up the garden, and Ivan helped with garage and recycling tasks. We also helped take care of the chickens. This was our first Workaway experience, and honestly, we can’t imagine a better way for it to have started. Deb and Andy shared so many stories with us, as well as their love of blues music. They also have a beautiful garden where you can really feel peace and tranquility. They drove us to the Kamloops Museum, and we learned a lot about the history of the area. They also showed us the local market, recommended many interesting places to visit in BC, and introduced us to some of their neighbours in Rayleigh, so we were able to learn what daily life is like there. Even though we were only there for a week, living with them felt like being with family, or with friends we had known for a lifetime. It’s hard to put into words how grateful we feel for everything they shared with us. Thanks to this experience, we have even started thinking about becoming Workaway hosts ourselves one day. We will always remember our time with Deb and Andy and are so thankful that our first Workaway experience was with them. ❤️

Tim stay with me at least 10 days,but you are so totality to help me teach everything, Im truly grateful for the time spent with you. You are kind, and inspiring person who guided,All my students loved learning with you,your presence brought happiness and motivation to everyone here. Mohammed stayed at my place for 10 days, mainly helping with garden work such as weeding, trimming, and raking. Considering that this was his first experience with these tasks, he did very well. He is hardworking, dedicated and willing to learn new things. To avoid misunderstandings, it is best to explain and show the tasks clearly. Mohammed is working on improving his English, so you may need some patience at times. However, he is communicative and always finds a way to express himself.

Benjamen and family came to stay with me. They have two delightful children who were involved with the projects that we did while they were here. They helped me to build a ramp for a dog that I didn't have at the time, but thanks to their help, I had a safe play area for my new puppy when she arrived. I would recommend hosting this delightful family.
