Description
We are a family of 3 (mom 48 years old, and two teenagers 15 and 17). We live on the outskirts of a middle-sized village in Central Bohemia, in the Czech-Moravian highlands. I take care of a certified natural garden where I grow my own fruit, vegetables and herbs. There are also 11 beehives in the garden which are taken care of by my dad who lives in the nearby town.
I work as a high school English teacher and a Forest mind intructor (). My daughter studies tourism and my son is in his last year of primary school. Besides gardening, I like hiking, swimming, taking photos and practicing yoga.
In the past, my kids and I took part in some projects as workawayers (in Wales, Danemark and USA) which we really enjoyed! Since the first time I haven´t stopped thinking about opening my place to workawayers as well. Before having kids, I travelled the world and l loved meeting new people and learning about new cultures.
There is always a lot of work in our garden and around our house, and I am also open to new projects. If you like the idea of spending some time and working in our place, email us.
