Description
We are a family of four: Raphaël, a climbing instructor; Roxane, who works in finance; and our children, Tom (10 years old) and Juliette (9 years old), who go to school 2 km away. We live in a beautiful house with breathtaking mountain views and a large swimming pool open in the summer, and we are passionate about nature. As an instructor, I love taking people to the mountains. We are looking for people to help us in the garden, especially the vegetable patch, with the chickens and rabbits. We hope for a warm, friendly exchange, open to cultural sharing.

Nous vivons dans une maison splendide avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes, une grande piscine ouverte l’été, et nous sommes passionnés de nature. En tant que moniteur, j’adore emmener les gens en montagne. Nous cherchons, des personnes pour nous aider dans le jardin et surtout le potager, avec les poules et les lapins. Nous souhaitons un échange chaleureux, convivial, et ouvert sur le partage culturel.

I'm a keen DIY enthusiast, and my wife has been working in the garden for 10 years. We have a wealth of knowledge we'd be happy to share. As an added bonus, as a climbing instructor, I could introduce you to, or share in, this activity that I'm so passionate about. I also practice yoga and meditation daily.

I could help you understand how our garden works. We need help with the vegetable garden, fruit trees, mowing the lawn, and feeding the chickens and rabbit. We would love a cultural and linguistic exchange with our children and are open to hosting families.

We have a large house with a guest room. Alternatively, we have a ground-floor apartment with a bathroom, kitchen, and two bedrooms. This will depend on availability. We can eat meals together, and you can help us prepare them and participate in our daily life. You'll get a glimpse into the life of a French family.

Suggestions for your free time & transportation
We live in a beautiful region, near mountains and lakes. You can enjoy hiking, cycling, downhill skiing, and cross-country skiing in the winter (15 minutes by car) or visit Chambéry, Annecy, and Aix-les-Bains, just a few kilometers away. Public transportation is limited, so a car is a plus, but we can sometimes arrange rides.
Lifestyle & house rules
We are an active family, very much in love with nature. We expect you to help for 4 to 5 hours a day: gardening, caring for the animals, and small chores. We enjoy home-cooked meals, respecting shared spaces, and good communication. We also value cultural exchange and enjoy sharing simple moments with our children.==========
Suggestions pour votre temps libre & transports
Nous vivons dans une région magnifique, près des montagnes et des lacs. Vous pourrez faire de la randonnée, du vélo, ski et ski de fond l'hiver qui à 15 min en voiture ou visiter Chambéry, Annecy et Aix-les-Bains à quelques kilomètres. Les transports en commun sont limités, une voiture est un plus, mais nous pouvons parfois arranger des trajets.
Mode de vie & règles de la maison
Nous sommes une famille active, tournée vers la nature. L’aide attendue est de 4 à 5 heures par jour : jardin, animaux, petits travaux. Nous aimons les repas faits maison, le respect des espaces communs, et une bonne communication. Nous apprécions aussi les échanges culturels et l’envie de partager des moments simples avec nos enfants.
