It was wonderful meeting Lluís. He's someone with whom everything flows naturally. It was a short but very intense time. Especially since, as a financial expert, we worked together on my products. We shared meals and discussed interesting topics to improve life. I'm glad I met him and I highly recommend him. I wish him the best of luck in his new endeavors and hope he'll visit me again someday.

The people who run the hostel are so kind hearted and genuinely want you to have a good time. Just beware of many silly, silly, and outrageous jokes. I am very grateful for this experience -- would 100% come back !!!

My stay with Cynthia and her family was truly great ! I stayed at their place for about ten days in April, it went very fast and I loved my experience there. I learned a lot and it was very fun, I had tasks to do throughout the day like gardening, and house work like emptying the dishwasher, vacuuming... I even had the chance to make a banana bread (even though it was a bit grilled). The family was very nice, as well as the friends and the spanish exchange person who stayed with them. With a very special mention to Cynthia who always made sure I felt great, she is very accommodating. The cat and dogs are a very friendly company during the day and for the time I stayed there, the little cottage was very enjoyable with more than everything you need. The house is warm and you feel very welcome. We cooked together, I attended everyday diner with more or less people (always good) and even a birthday party diner, it was great, I was able to fully experience their culture and way of living. As for the surrounding environment, I always enjoyed going with Cynthia to the shop, it was very close, or going for a walk in the huge park of their nice town and it is also close to Kilkenny via buses to go on the week-end ! As part of my first experience in my month away, it was a pleasure to help them and I am always happy when I recall learning to know them. So thank you, and like the other workayers here, I would recommand it without any hesitation.

I had such an wonderful time! Hanna and Thibaut were incredibly welcoming and warm, as were the other devotees living in the community. The general atmosphere was so peaceful and I felt at home very quickly. The premaculture project is really fantastic - although there was thick snow for most of the time I was there, we still managed to do lots of work sieving soil and separating grains. It was fascinating to learn about Hanna and Thibaut's self-sufficiency plans, and I look forward to visiting the project again in the summer months. It was also special to take part in the rituals in the temple - it was such a beautiful, sacred space which I felt very privileged to enter. I really enjoyed participating with the chanting at Kirtan every evening, and learning more about the Hare Krishna faith in general. I massively recommend visiting here if you get the chance! Hare Krishna!

This is a wonderful, warmhearted, very international community (somewhat special in rather conservative Gaziantep), they will welcome you with open arms. It was a lot of fun to work with the staff and other volunteers who are all so kind. I really loved my time there a lot. You will mostly do 2 -3 classes per day (you're at the coffee place from 5-10 pm), so it's really relaxed. You have enough time at the Café to prepare your activities and still engage in several talks, get to know people, play chess and have fun. Just be prepared, that it won't always be the weekend you're off (sometimes it's two days spread over the week) and the two meals per day is more a fastfood meal and a sandwich, what is a bit sad in this foodie mecca Gaziantep 😉 Thank you again for this experience 🙏😍

All the good things RIkki. It puts a smile in my heart. Honestly one of the best human beings I've met in while. And that pops the question: what kind of person do you want to be part of your project, to share your space and time with? Rikki. Trust and love- Rikki arrived home on the day I was leaving for 5 days for the holidays. He stayed on his own on the space and it was beautiful. When I came back the space was radiant, the plants had grown more than in the past month after rikki's energy and care, and my cat - who is generally very distant and reserved with other humans that's not me - had fallen deeply in love with him *(I think it was mutual too :) ). He also had the attentiveness and detail to clean the space, made it nicer, improved different systems for daily tasks which I kept that way after he's gone because they are better functioning. He went above and beyond, he was impecable and there's also something deeper about him, in terms of caring for life, of being present, of understanding how he can make things not only more efficient but also more beautiful as he goes by. It's a gift, and it's also part of who he is at the core. He is a truly nice human being. Respect and dedication - While we shared our time together this was the basis. He was attentive, an incredible cook - please do love his pasta -, I felt a deep sense of respect for my person, the space, my space and his space, the animals, the plants, my friends. I think he is just loving and that radiates off his person. Also, the tasks we tackled together we enjoyed very much. He is skillful, willing, smart, crafty. We understood each other very well, we shared a sense of accomplishment and compromise. It was easy to plan with him, we were both very clear on our goals and were able to complete what we had set out to do fairly, with grit and also having fun. Rikki is interesting, knowledgeable, smart, wise, fun, curious, caring, and very noble and pure in his heart. He's willing to share respectfully and in a balanced way. His energy is present yet not invasive. He's communicative in ways that are clear and constructive. And i could go on and on about Rikki. All I have to say is Thank you my friend for such a beautiful experience, for being here, and for sharing you time and self with us. We miss you, we wish you well, and hope you come back. You will always be welcomed here.

I spent a week at this spacial family's home. I mostly cleaned and cooked in the kitchen of the house and bakery. but it was nothing in exchange to what I got back. care, hospitality, trips to nature and games with the kids. it was a quiet time for the bakery and work, so there was not a lot of people like I expected from the photos. but Ester gave me her bikes to drive to the beach and I played with the kids. they are really hard working people it's super admirable. I can't explain in words the care they give. even now when im away :-) thank you family and hope to see you again!

Cindy, Enzo and their daughters are so sweets, kinds, and efficient with the work requested. They're a beautiful family with whom we spent three weeks (too short, sigh!) in joyful conviviality. It was wonderful to see our daughters playing together the whole time! Of course, they are welcome always here!

This was the best first Workaway Experience I could ask for! As soon as I arrived, Sue and David made me feel like home. We had many wonderful conversations and they helped me a lot with experiencing local events like the markets. They did even let me stay one day longer, so I didn't have to find a new place to sleep before my next Workaway. I was there to pick olives, which was interesting and not too hard. I also loved their dogs, even though I normally am not a dog-person. I can recommend this Workaway to anyone! Thank you so much Sue and David for these wonderful two weeks at your cozy place!

I stayed one month (September) at Rene´s place and I had a great time! Rene is very friendly and social, but also caring and has a heart in the right place. He can also cook great meals and bake amazing bread. I helped with some renovations on the house and had a lot of time for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Rene let you work just as much as you want and nothing feels forced, the atmosphere is very relaxed. Thank you so much for everything.

I had a truly wonderful time during my work exchange. Paul and Pierre-Yves were incredibly warm, welcoming, and kind. Even though my French is quite limited, they were always happy to teach me new French words and explain French ways of speaking, which was really fun and interesting. I was also lucky to be there during Armistice Day. Paul and Pierre invited me to join the local town’s commemoration ceremony, and it made me feel deeply connected to the local life and culture. One evening, they also invited some friends over for dinner. Even though I couldn’t understand most of the French conversations, everyone was very friendly and open. They might honestly be the friendliest French people I’ve ever met 😄 The work was simple and varied, allowing me to experience different kinds of tasks. Overall, I truly loved this work exchange and am very grateful for this experience.

We had a wonderful time with Ted and Alla! They are very kind people who are lovely to be around. We loved to help them with different tasks around the farm. They provided good food for us to cook (a lot of their own produce) which tasted incredible. We already miss their company, and all of their dogs. - And of course all of Ted's jokes. Would never want to be without this experience. All the best to Ted and Alla

My stay with Sarndra was a dream from the beginning. I felt welcomed to her lovely home from the start with good food and good conversation. I've learned quite a few amazing recipes that I will most definitely be taking home with me. I found the work fair (mostly gardening) and always had time to do some sight-seeing or wandering about Dunedin itself! St. Clair beach is just a short walk away! Her garden is a wonder in itself and a glorious place to chill at the end of the day. Sarndra was incredibly helpful with local travel tips and recommendations to get the most out of my time there! I would most definitely recommend Sarndra's place to anyone looking to meet some lovely people and some amazing company.

Danke Marie :)

Kitija, first of all, thank you so much for everything. I have worked with more than 2,000 volunteers, and Kitija was one of the very best among them. She is someone who always takes responsibility for the work even more than you expect from her. With her beauty, energy, and strong sense of responsibility, she added so much to us. She is one of those volunteers for whom I truly wish she had never left. I feel very lucky to have seen her as part of this family. Koh Phangan will always be your home Kitija. Sabai sabai

We have only good words about our collaboration with Rubi, she had something special about her. <3 A lot of energy a lot of enthusiasm, the kids totally loved her. She was not scarred to take a challenge when was needed and always delivered good results. She worked well in the team and she made long lasting friendships with the volunteers from the other countries. I was proud of her because depside her young age she has the responsibility and the maturity we needed to be able to take care of our kids. Best wishes, Rubi!
