Jane es una chica muy colaboradora y proactiva. Se adaptó enseguida al ritmo familiar y a la convivencia con otros compañeros. Muy servicial y hasta el último momento comprometida y agradecida. Jane es muy recomendable como workaway.

Roberto and Diana were kind, and we could ask them for things or ask questions. We could manage our time flexibly. The weather wasn’t kind to us; an electric blanket is a wonderful thing at times like this. My main tasks were: gardening, digging, repairing the fence, weeding, and cleaning the yard. But I was never alone, because the dogs were always there with me. My son played with them a lot, and taking them for walks was a daily activity that we loved in the nearby forest, which is wonderful.

Jose is a thoughtful considerate person. He persevered through 3 weeks of wet windy weather and did not complain once despite having to walk the dogs every day in very un-seasonal weather! Once given a list of tasks to complete he worked through conscientiously and solved any problems he encountered. Jose would be welcome back anytime.

In a rainy day I can finally sit and right about the unexpected pleasant experience we had hosting Paulien! She filled with harmony and passion the farm, giving her best and her love to everyone and everything. From people to animals to plants! Calm and gentle she knows a lot about food and coffee, which we have enjoyed beautifully together during her staying! I don't think I could explain properly how lucky we have been to meet Paulien! Aaaand.... she moved in Italy! So she's still coming to stay with us sometimes!!! Thank you Paulien and to the universe!

My stay Sally's was so nice! I was there to watch her dogs while she was away at a dog show during the weekend. It was a short trip (4 days) but overall it was great to meet her and her SUPER cute dogs (+ her cat Mr. Darcy). All of her dogs are so sweet and its hard to choose a favorite because each of them have their own personality which makes them special :) The area around sally's is super calm and peaceful and I was able to do some walks during the day to enjoy the scenery. Sally and I ate together at all the meals and she taught me a lot about dogs! She truly loves all of her animals ad you can tell they are all spoiled. I loved sharing a glass of wine and watching game shows in the night with Sally. Overall a great stay and would recommend for anyone who loves dogs and is looking for a calm trip!

Simon’s place is amazing, everything is as described in the profile and sooo much more! I stayed there for a month during Christmas time and had such a colourful and wonderful experience. Simon is a really caring host who truly tries to make this the best experience for everyone. The work is varied, sometimes simple, sometimes more interesting and requiring certain skills (and there’s also space to learn them). The hours are very fair, and the accommodation is great. A huuuge bonus is Simon’s cooking and the sweet pets that are always around. I was also so lucky to meet some great people there ❤️ thank you for everything!

Kenneth and Ingvild have been incredibly welcoming, easygoing, and kind!! We felt at home from the very beginning. We're so grateful :) We enjoyed the times we ate together and all the great and funny conversations we shared. Learning from each other; especially languages, from Norwegian, to Spanish and even French with Pierre), was such a special part of the experience. We really loved that mix of cultures. It was also nice to explore the area, we truly enjoyed it. And every day felt different: from removing tiles and preparing the floor with concrete to doing some carpentry! We learned so much in just two weeks! We’re very grateful for your generosity and for everything you shared with us. Best regards!

I spent a month (January- February) with Anne and Trond and it was an incredibly wonderful month during which I was able to learn so much and explore beautiful Norway. The dogs were all amazing and I miss them. There’s a weekly schedule that outlines the tasks, so you have a structure to follow and can easily plan small trips if you feel like it. The annex is very cozy and clean. In the evenings, Trond always cooked delicious dinners and over the weekend, we enjoyed delicious waffles on our sledding trips—thanks;) All in all, a very good first Workaway experience. I highly recommend it.

We had a really lovely stay with this family. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming, kind, and hospitable, making us feel right at home. The location is beautiful, and the accommodation was comfortable and well-suited to our needs. We especially appreciated the warmth and openness of the family, which created a genuine sense of being included in their daily life. If you enjoy working with children and value feeling like part of a family, this would be a great place to stay. Thank you again for having us and for the experience.

Toni was great. It was just a sort of filler post over a weekend before she went off to another one. She says she's going to be travelling for the next five months, and we wish her well. She got on with the work and cleared quite a large flower bed and learnt how to prune blueberry bushes. (We didn't know either). She said this was her first Workaway experience. We can recommend her, responsible, hard working, didn't need much supervision, intelligent. Also, she got on well with our kids who are of similar age.

Sharing three weeks with Marion and Maellla was a very beautiful experience for all of us. From the beginning, living together felt very natural, with simple tasks around the house, conversations, laughter, shared meals and walks in nature. Beyond the help, the most valuable part was the bond that grew and the atmosphere of trust and joy that was created in our home. It was also very enriching for my children: my older son felt very motivated to practice English in a spontaneous way, and it was wonderful to see the cultural exchange happen so naturally. For me it was also a gift to keep improving my English and to learn through living together. We keep very beautiful memories and a lot of gratitude for everything we shared.

We rarely see volunteers with so much drive and energy. Christina & Kevin were particularly interested in Sam's rebuilding project in the old mill. They were very keen on learning about the whole process and worked along Sam with lots of energy and enthousiasm. It was a refreshing experience hosting them as it also boosted Sam's enthousiasm for the project to new levels. Christina and Kevin are very easygoing guests, they stayed for three weeks dis a weekend house sit for us and fitted in a weekend to visit Granada themselves. It was a pleasure to host them and they will be forever welcome at the fam.

Gabriel was a truly wonderful guest, and we absolutely loved having him stay with us. He is warm, easy to talk to, and brings a very positive energy wherever he goes. He never complains, is genuinely grateful, and shows appreciation for everything around him. Gabriel was also fantastic with our horses. It was clear how much he enjoyed spending time with them, and they seemed to enjoy him just as much. We would happily welcome him back anytime and can highly recommend him to any future hosts!

Me and my partner spent 10 days at this lovely and lively home built partly from what the beach provided and partly from curiosity and work of Ted, Shao Mei, Kaylen and their friends. We had a lot of personal space as the accommodation was a separate big house in a Wes Anderson movie-like village by the sea (with the windy and cloudy season in early March, being there alone might be a little unsettling, but for two people the atmosphere was enjoyable). Ted picked us up every day around 9am, we were helping in their farm till 1pm and then had lunch together (since we are vegetarians, they adapted and prepared light vegetarian meal for us. We recommend buying groceries in the city once you arrive, because getting around the countryside isn't very convenient ( more expensive) if you don't have your own means of transport and there aren't places to eat out nearby (wintertime). Considering the work, we were helping with grinding old pieces of wood to prepare them for building stairs. We also helped with decorating walls in Kaylen's room as well as collecting stones on the beach for road building. It was very inspiring to see how upcycling gives new life and spark to things other people had thrown away. Life in Penghu felt just like a place where the time had stopped so we could slowly flow into the everyday routine of this slightly chaotic and always fun family. We are very thankful for your welcoming approach and wish you a lot of strength with ongoing projects! See you! Eli & Jubi

We hosted Sarah for about three weeks, and she was a great help with a diverse range of tasks. She worked with a team to set up and promote a new free library, networked for book donations, updated our cloud storage and informational booklet, created our LinkedIn page, and even led some community yoga sessions. Sarah is a structured, punctual, and reliable volunteer who approaches her tasks with discipline and mindfulness. I personally really enjoyed our working relationship because she is direct and clear in her communication, always being upfront about her expectations and what she likes or doesn't like. She completed her full stay with us and even dedicated some extra free time after her volunteer period ended to finish up a project. We appreciate her straightforward approach and solid commitment, and we recommend her to future Workaway hosts!
