Description
Small finca in rural Andalucia with 3 dogs and 2 horses and a goose. I work full time an hour away and need help with tidying up the finca and feeding the animals. Ideal for a couple who are independent and want to experience "real Spain". This finca is 5 minutes from the small town of Benalup, 40 minutes from Jerez, 1 hour Gibraltar and @ 30 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Costa de Luz. Miles of tracks for walking, riding and cycling direct from the finca. Not recommended for single travellers or under 25's and usually workawayers stay @ a month. Please check my calendar as I try and keep this up to date.

Feeding horses and large dogs. Horses are out in fields - so no stable help required. General maintenance of the finca - mostly outdoor tasks. Maintaining garden and pool.

Benalup is situated in rural Andalucia but only 40 minutes from Cadiz, 30 minutes from the beautiful Costa de Luz beaches. There is not much English spoken in this area but the people are very friendly. Public transport is limited. 2 bikes in the finca.

Anna & Leoandro were a delight to host and did all the tasks that were required and also thought of some themselves. They were great with all the animals, including goose Wilson. Dorothe & Sascha were a great help in the finca both with the dogs and horses and the maintenance jobs. Although not here long they fitted in quickly and completed all the jobs efficiently with hardly any supervision. With a mature outlook they were a pleasure to have around.

Sandra is very sweet and caring. The finca is beautiful, with great sunsets! The casita is lovely and the dogs are so kind and adorable. We already miss it.
About the work: taking care of the horses and dogs was really easy. Other than that we did some fencing, a little painting and cleaning, and created a path. Nice jobs, with nice results.

What a wonderful couple who clearly were keen to learn about different cultures and languages and were not afraid of hard work. Although only here for a short while they quickly learnt how to care for the animals and also worked well on other jobs around the finca. I definitely would recommend them to other hosts.

After almost a full month at the Finca i can say that it is an amazing place! Sandra is a fantastic host that made me and my partner always feel welcome and appreciated.
