Description
Hi everyone! The main project for this year is to make some changes to the exterior of our private house, but there are also smaller tasks inside the house and outside around the property, and we plan to have 3-4 workawayers staying together with us =)
In the summer we usually have sheep that keep the vegetation down, and we might have rabbits here this year as well.

We have had a lot of workawayers here, and it is nice to try some different food and hear how people do things in other countries, and maybe learn a few words.
We are a Christian couple who pray before we eat and like to have a positive mood in the house.
Many also like to be able to try new new and practical things here, so hopefully we can both get some things done and have a nice time together =)
Help
Different things that we could need help with:
Painting
Making lunch/dinner, and keep the kitchen and house clean.
Making firewood, remove cranches and other outside tasks on the property.
For the fixing/renovation of our house we are having local tradespeople who are doing the job, but there are also some simpler tasks that we can do ourselves, and we can work together doing this.
Workawayers will not help with cleaning for paying guests in our cabin, like some reviews mention.

There is now an apartment in the basement of the house with bathroom, bedroom og kitchen + living room.
You will either stay here, or in one of the rooms on the main floor of the house. We hope it is ok that you spend much of your free time with other workawayers, since we will not always be available to be social during the evenings.

There are nice places to walk near the house or Kristiansand, you can check the website ut.no for recommendations.
There is a lake where we often go to, and where many go swimming!
Or you can talk to the sheep, pick some berries, borrow the canoe or just relax after getting some work done =)

Solch interessierte und warmherzige Hosts findet man sicher nicht überall und ich kann nur positiv für meine Zeit hier berichten.
