Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Travellers who volunteer in Cambodia can benefit from a cultural exchange experience by immersing themselves in the local culture and interacting with the people. They can learn about the history, traditions, values, and beliefs of Cambodians, as well as their challenges and aspirations. They can also teach their own culture and share their perspectives and skills with others. A cultural exchange can foster mutual understanding, respect, and friendship between diverse cultures.
Help
We have an exciting and varied programme of opportunities in Cambodia. In Phnom Penh we are just 30 minutes from the city where you can explore during your free time. Alternatively, for those who want to be more in touch with local culture and nature, we have opportunities in provincial centres like Ratanakiri, Mondolkiri, Kampot and Lvea Aem (Kandal).
