We are an educational organization focused on providing holistic education programs to urban and rural communities throughout Cambodia, East Timor, Laos, and Japan. Our core program is to provide education in English, IT and Life Skills to the underprivileged youths. We also focus on soft skills (belief in self, leadership, being a good citizen in the society, giving back to the community) and give lots of opportunities to develop practical skills.
Since we began in 2000, we have educated over 200,000 students. We currently reach 15,000 students on a daily basis in our 50 schools across 4 countries.
We are currently looking for volunteers who could be committed for 3 months or more. The positions that are open are:
1. "Teach Portuguese" as a second language;
2. "Teach Korean" as a second language:
3. "Teach Vocational Skills" [agriculture, mechanics, electronics or other].
Our school is a community full of enthusiastic volunteers and students.
Come and join our team and make an impact on the lives of others!!

East-Timor is a country with lots of traditional customs. You will learn many things from the Timorese culture as you develop more relationships with the students. Sometimes they wish to invite you to their house in the districts, which is a great experience for travelers. You can also choose to visit the districts on your own, and since we have lots of schools throughout the whole country, accommodation wouldn't be of any issue.
We aim to recruit volunteers from all over the world to experience the fulfilling work of social service in East-Timor, while at the same time, enjoying the warmth and hospitality of the Asian culture and people.
A variety of exciting opportunities are available for volunteers such as;
1. Teaching Portuguese
The skill required: Portuguese Language;
The skill required: Korean Language;
3. Teaching Vocational Skills (agriculture, car/motorcycle mechanics, electronics or other vocational skills you'd wish to offer).
WE DO NOT CHARGE VOLUNTEERS
We require the volunteers to be committed for at least 3 months or more as a teacher. Volunteers would go through training to understand our system of teaching.
We cover food (local food, 3x a day) and accommodation (shared dormitory).
You can join the project at any time.
The volunteers would immerse themselves in community life in one of our centers in Asia.
They will be staying at our center where there are basic facilities. Volunteers will share the room with other volunteers.
East-Timor is a country located on an island. There is plenty of nature, mountains, and beaches to visit during your free time. Most of the locals travel by a mini-van which is like a public bus in many countries. We also organize many volunteer outings during the volunteers' holidays like going to the beach with our students or volunteers.
