Description
We are a friendly and open-minded Chinese family living in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Our family includes two lovely girls aged 4 and 7, and a Doberman puppy who is almost one year old — playful, smart, and very friendly.
We are now especially happy to welcome a family with young children (preferably under 10 years old) whose native language is German, so our daughters can learn and play naturally together.
We only accept native German speakers with an educational background in early childhood education or strong experience working with children.
We hope you are someone with high energy and a genuine love for interacting with kids — someone who enjoys playing, laughing, and learning together.
We believe children learn best through play and daily life, so we’d love you to engage with our girls by reading picture books, playing games, doing crafts, and helping with simple homework — all in a fun, relaxed, and natural way.
Our home is in the southeast of Chiang Mai Old City, about a 20-minute drive from the center. We have a large 400 m² garden, perfect for relaxing, playing, or having BBQs. You’ll have your own private room with a bathroom.
A café located just a 3-minute drive from our home has a swimming pool you can use for 100 THB per visit.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine and a large oven . We don’t cook at home very often, but when we do, you’re always welcome to join us — and we’d also love it if you enjoy cooking and sharing your own food with us!
If you have the chance to stay with us, we hope you’ll treat our home as your own — keeping things tidy and warm, sharing fun stories, cooking together, and being part of our big family, rather than just completing tasks and spending time alone in your room after activities.
We look forward to welcoming you — and perhaps your children — to our home and creating beautiful memories together! 🌿

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You will have the chance to experience local Thai life while staying in a friendly family environment. You can learn about Chinese cooking when we prepare food together, and you’re welcome to share your own recipes or baking skills with us.
We also love to exchange stories and experiences from different cultures, and you will have many opportunities to explore Chiang Mai and meet locals.
Our daughters will teach you about their world too — through their eyes and games!

Help
• Language practice (German): Minimum of 2 hours per day with our daughters, which can include reading picture books and stories, helping with homework, playing games, or any creative and fun learning activities you can suggest. If you have an educational background or experience working with kids, it is a big plus.
• Babysitting and creative play with kids.
• Help around the house (mainly keeping your own space and the kitchen clean).
• Helping with weeding
• Sharing cooking or baking skills (if you’d like!).

Accommodation
You will have a private room with your own bathroom. The kitchen is fully available for your use, and we have a large garden where you can relax, play with the kids, or enjoy BBQs.
We ask that you keep your bathroom and the kitchen clean during your stay and before you leave.
We prefer non-smokers.
What else ...
Minimum stay is two weeks so our daughters can build a good connection and enjoy steady practice.
If we all feel happy and comfortable together, you are welcome to stay longer.
We can also help you arrange a rental car or motor if you need it, to make your travel and exploring around Chiang Mai safer and more convenient.
