Another good experience thanks to Workaway ! Joanne and Sixtine are hard working and respectful . And also good cooks . We had a productive week of shifting stuff and organizing things. They also helped in the garden and cleaned the windows . Very grateful for their help !

Sarah et Vicky sont deux sœurs extraordinaires à tous points de vue. Toutes deux font preuve d'une grande initiative et sont toujours prêtes à aider autant que possible. Elles sont empathiques, joyeuses, généreuses de cœur et profondément attachées aux animaux ainsi qu'à la préservation de la nature. Ce sont d'excellentes compagnes, toujours aimables et amies de tous. Sarah aime les chevaux avec une passion toute particulière et possède un véritable don pour communiquer avec eux. Alarik s'est toujours senti en sécurité avec elle et a énormément appris à ses côtés, découvrant des approches que, personnellement, je n'avais jamais travaillées avec lui. Étant un cheval qui avait été très maltraité par le passé, il m'a fallu beaucoup de temps pour lui redonner confiance. Pourtant, Sarah a réussi à le rendre plus calme, moins anxieux et beaucoup plus serein dans son environnement. Vicky, de son côté, a beaucoup appris sur les chevaux. Toutes deux ont participé à des séances d'équitation avec des chevaux de Paso péruvien et nous avons parcouru la plage à cheval. Vicky n'a pas pu nous accompagner lors de toutes les sorties, mais je sais qu'elle a beaucoup apprécié les cours d'équitation. Elles ont également apporté une aide précieuse à notre projet de reforestation, en découvrant le compost, les mélanges de terre et les différentes compositions permettant d'améliorer les sols érodés. Elles ont savouré une partie de la gastronomie de la côte équatorienne et je sais qu'elles ont particulièrement aimé les empanadas ainsi que les tortillas de banane plantain verte. Chaque jour apporte de nouveaux projets, et chacun représente un défi où l'énergie est essentielle et où les émotions dansent. Sarah a préparé de délicieuses crêpes ainsi qu'un gâteau à la banane et au chocolat, tandis que Vicky a goûté à tout avec enthousiasme. Toutes deux sont courageuses, dotées d'une grande force intérieure et tout simplement merveilleuses. MERCI LES FILLES de votre confiance et d'être exactement telles que vous êtes.

My stay with Serena and Christian was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. They were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. They always checked in to make sure I had everything I needed and were very thoughtful about ensuring I had time for myself on my days off, which I really appreciated. Taking care of Samuel and Theodore was such a joy. They are both incredibly smart, sweet, and full of personality. Although they are very different from one another, they are each lovely in their own unique way, and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them. During my stay, I had the opportunity to help on the allotment, which I really enjoyed, and I even got to help with the new kittens! There was always a nice balance of tasks, and I felt trusted and included as part of the family. I enjoyed my experience so much that I was able to come back after my initial stay, and I would happily return again in the future. I couldn't recommend Serena and Christian more highly to other Workawayers looking for a warm, supportive, and welcoming host family. Thank you both again for opening your home to me and for all the wonderful memories :)

We had the absolute pleasure of having Hanna and Thomas volunteer with us at Santuario 108, and they were, quite simply, the perfect volunteers. From the moment they arrived, they proved to be incredibly hardworking and resourceful, always finding proactive ways to contribute and solve problems around the sanctuary. Beyond their dedication to the work, they brought such positive energy to the team—they are genuinely great people to be around. To top it all off, their culinary skills were a fantastic bonus; they kept everyone well-fed and happy. We couldn't have asked for a better pair to support our mission. We highly recommend them to any organization—any host would be lucky to have them! A big 108.000 Sohammmm!!!! for you2!!! : D

I stayed 1 month at Ines's and it was the best first experience I could have ! I was with another workwayer and the work was easy to deal with: we made the paddocks for the horses, cut grass, did the compost, sanded and painted a bit and a few other things. We also took the horses on little rides but we can't really call it work ! Overall, we had a lot of free time and spent it going on hikes, bike tours, exploring the beach at low tide, trying to spot the midnight sun...or just chilling (especially on rainy days). We got to meet and spend an evening with woofers near the house, we could also go to Tromsø with the bus and managed to see the parades there for the 17th of May. Ines is easy to talk to and very kind ! She worked most of the days and let us alone a week for traveling but we could talk with her in the evening and we also got to do few hikes together. On my last day she took us to the open sea to hike. The landscapes are all so beautiful, and the view form the house is also something you need to see ! She also picked me up and took me to the airport. The animals are very well treated, the cats and the horses are so friendly and two super cute chicks hatched during my stay ! I am very grateful I got to experience workaway in Norway with Ines and I can only recommend it !

I stayed here for 10 days, and the time went by so fast. Francisco treated me like family and made me feel very welcome. La Ventana is a beautiful and quiet place. The house has a lovely ocean view, a nice kitchen, and cozy shared spaces. The shared room was spacious and comfortable. I also made some wonderful friends! On one of my days off, I joined a sea safari tour. It was an incredible experience. I had such a wonderful and fulfilling time here. Thank you Francisco!

El tiempo que Edgar colaboró como voluntario en el hostel fue una experiencia muy positiva. Se destacó por su excelente actitud, energía, amabilidad y disposición para apoyar en las distintas tareas que se le asignaron. Además, una de sus principales fortalezas es el manejo de varios idiomas, una habilidad que resultó de gran valor para la atención y comunicación con huéspedes de diferentes nacionalidades. Su compromiso, responsabilidad y trato cordial contribuyeron a generar un ambiente agradable tanto para los huéspedes como para el equipo de trabajo. Sin duda, recomendamos a Edgar para futuras oportunidades de voluntariado o trabajo en entornos relacionados con la hospitalidad y el servicio al cliente.

We contacted Firat at the very last minute, and we were incredibly lucky that he agreed to host us!😁 We only spent about 10 days with him, but we had an amazing time. Firat is an incredibly kind, funny, and welcoming person, and his children are absolutely adorable😊. Lili is a very sweet cat, sometimes cuddly and extremely fluffy😊! We loved having her around and truly enjoyed our stay. If you're looking for a genuine Turkish cultural exchange, you couldn't find a better place. We had countless interesting conversations about all kinds of topics, and Firat showed us his favorite places and introduced us to his favorite foods and local culture. We really loved being here and will definitely come back one day! Thank you so much for everything! 😁

Diana and Sandor is a very nice couple and workawayer. They are living the spirit of workaway where they can connect and interact while helping with the housework. They are both very skilled and co-operative and funny. They also spent very nice time with my children, played games together and practiced English with them.. I hope one day we meet again! Jason is a force of nature. He single handed almost all of the tasks, was communicative and asertive about everything and most of all has a good heart and soul. A good person , a good volunteer and a funny and caring dude. Wish you all the best brother.

It was wonderful to meet Bethany and to share and hear about her experiences of travelling. She was a considerate workawayer and happy to join in with our family activities. A pleasure hosting.

This place is just amazing. If you choose to volunteer here, prepare yourself for a lot of different tasks. The team is really nice and you can ask them for everything that you need. The park itself is an amazing place to wonder around and the quietness that you experience once everyone is gone is amazing. The cabin has everything you may need and it's really cozy. You're not far from the city center or other towns and you can choose to do whatever you feel like with your free time, for suggestions you can also ask the guys, they know. For me it was an amazing place to find quietness and learn new things, highly recommend!

It was a true joy to have Răzvan as a Workaway volunteer! He was a reliable help and put a lot of enthusiasm into painting the fence, doing an excellent job and showing great dedication. Beyond the work itself, Răzvan is an incredibly great guy with a contagious positive energy. We will fondly remember the wonderful evenings spent together playing board games, full of laughter and good vibes. He fit perfectly into the atmosphere of our home. We wholeheartedly recommend him to any host; he is a 10/10 volunteer!

My two weeks with Claire and Roddy were absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed into their home. They're kind, hardworking people who somehow manage to be cheerful despite their busy schedules, and their warm hospitality made all the difference. I loved helping with the pools, and the downtime spent chatting over dinner was just as special. The location is stunning, especially the mountain trail close by, I absolutely loved walking that and checking out some of the smaller caves there. The movie nights were special, I really enjoyed them. It's rare to feel so at home somewhere in just two weeks, but they have a gift for making people feel like family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, warm Workaway experience!

I stayed for a whole month with Arianna and Faren and really enjoyed my time there. The work was very diverse and I got to learn lots of new stuff. I was there in april so I mostly spent my work hours in the olive fields but I also got to work at Faren's studio, in the garden and at the bees. And of course I was feeding all of the cute animals every day :) Arianna and Faren are very nice hosts and I enjoyed spending time with them. They especially cooked the best meals every night. I had my own little apartment for half of my stay which was very cool. Otherwise there is the nature around the house that is very beautiful and perfect for little hikes and watching the sunset. The nearby town is very cute as well and on the weekends I could even go to Florence. Thank you so much for letting me stay with you!! I wish you all the best!

I spent two great weeks with Flame and three other volunteers. We worked in his garden, created a star for his shows and even planted wishing flowers 🌹🌸. We also participated in some renovation work and I also dis streaming Flame took us to visit the neighboring city, as well as Nazaré. We also had the chance to go to a festival in the area, which was really great! She also invited us to a barbecue with her friends, it was also a great time It was the first time, in a volunteer experience, that I saw a host so invested with volunteers, and I found it great. I will never forget these two weeks or all the evenings spent playing billiards in the village bar. The people we met there were incredibly welcoming. Thank you again, Flame, for these two weeks. I had a great time and I leave with lots of beautiful memories. It is experiences like this that make the trip so special. Thank you for your welcome, your kindness and all the energy you shared with us 😁

Diana a été très efficace dans les cours d'espagnol qu'elle nous a donné tous les jours - elle préparait et s'adaptait à notre niveau - les exercices étaient variés - elle était ouverte à d'autres demandes comme montrer ses talents d'artistes au violon , en faisant une séance de violon pour les jeunes enfants défavorisés de l'association que nous aidons ou peindre quelques décorations pour égayer le jardin . Toujours en demande de nous aider dans la maison , étant discrete et polie nous avons adoré et pourquoi pas envisager une nouvelle aventure commune sous une forme ou une autre .
