Description
We are a couple from England who have taken time away from work to travel around Chile and Argentina, for 6 months.
Tom is a scientific software developer, working on flood modelling and climate change, and Hannah is a family doctor (General Practitioner). We both love the outdoors, and are using these 6 months to explore South America, learn Spanish, and have an adventure.
We are both very practical and enjoy getting stuck in, and are keen to meet people of similar mindsets.

We are both hardworking, practical and quick learners.
Before and after university, Tom has worked on farms and building sites. He is comfortable using common building materials, with basic joinery and more generally fixing things. He has experience using hand and power tools and driving machinery, as well as handling livestock. He has also worked in kitchens as a chef. Whilst growing up, Tom also taught people to sail and has experience fixing and mending sailing boats as well as surf boards. He is generally practical, and likes to solve problems, no matter how big or small. He has some mechanical experience as he usually maintains and fixes his own vehicles back home in England.
Hannah has always had an interest in people and in community, working as a private nanny for 4 years during university. She can also make a great flat white! She enjoys cooking (particularly baking), cleaning, and is known for being quite organised and tidy. She enjoys being outside in the garden, and is keen to develop more gardening skills and knowledge. She loves all animals, with experience in horseriding when she was younger.

We are both good fun, enjoy music and dancing, and seeing as much of a different culture / way of living as possible. We also love outdoor activities, including hiking, climbing, surfing (Hannah is learning!), horseriding, amongst other things, and are keen to share these hobbies with other people.
