Description
Hello everyone! I was a teacher for many years and love children of all ages. I love reading, learning about history and languages, cooking, knitting, and spending time in nature. I'm an introvert, so I love forming meaningful relationships will small groups of people and being part of close-knit teams. I also love having some alone time each day. I'm joining Workaway because I'm hoping to travel the world in 2026 (and possibly beyond) and would love to connect with families and other hosts that might be good matches for me.

I've been a teacher and a school administrator in a variety of contexts, and I am also a certified postpartum doula and have extensive experience with newborns, infants, and toddlers. I can teach English (from basic skills to advanced conversation, reading and writing) to people of all ages, and I can design lessons for children of all ages on a variety of topics. I can also write and edit professional-quality documents in English and complete most basic administrative tasks for a small school or business. I can care for babies, toddlers, and young children in the home and plan age-appropriate activities for them. I enjoy cooking and am happy to cook for a family. I am open to learning new skills as well, especially in the areas of farming and gardening!
