    Description

We are a small and passionate project focused on sustainability, nature, and conscious living. Our 10.9-hectare agroecological reserve is located in the protected area of Cerro La Carpintera, in Costa Rica, at 1,500 meters above sea level.

Our vision is to transform this space into a Yoga & Wellness Retreat Center, where people can reconnect with themselves and nature in a peaceful and inspiring environment. We are surrounded by cloud forest, fresh mountain air, and stunning views of the Central Valley and the Irazú Volcano.

This is a hands-on project led by a small team that values collaboration, respect, and personal growth. We enjoy creating meaningful spaces, working with purpose, and sharing this experience with people from around the world.

Hosting volunteers is an important part of our journey, as we believe in cultural exchange, learning from each other, and building something special together.

Be part of building a Yoga & Wellness Retreat while living in a beautiful cloud forest reserve in Cerro La Carpintera, San José, Costa Rica. We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Workawayer who wants to contribute to a meaningful project and enjoy a peaceful lifestyle surrounded by nature.

    Your Mission (Technical Skills Required)
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in:

-Electrical & Finishing Work: Installing electrical systems and ceilings in the caretaker’s house (currently without electricity).
-Interior Remodeling: Dividing spaces in the main house using lightweight systems (existing finishes are already high quality).
-Basic Plumbing: Adapting shared bathrooms and relocating water connections for new rooms.
-Kitchen Optimization: Helping transform an outdoor kitchen into a functional space for retreat staff.

    What We Offer:
-Premium Stay: You will stay in one of our modern cabins (approx. 82 m²), featuring a metal structure, ceramic floors, and bamboo ceilings.
-Sustainable Living: Solar energy, satellite internet, and pure spring water sourced directly from our land.
-Food & Environment: Access to fresh products from our 85 m² greenhouse, plus a peaceful, noise-free environment—ideal for yoga, meditation, and deep connection with nature.

    Volunteer Schedule
4–5 hours per day, 5 days per week, with 2 days off (to be agreed in advance). The schedule can be flexible depending on the project and weather conditions.

Location: San Vicente, La Unión, Cartago, Costa Rica
Access: 4x4 only (transport from Tres Ríos can be arranged)

  • What else ...

    What else ...

In your free time, you can explore Costa Rica's main cities, visit volcanoes and national parks, take popular dance classes, and visit beaches on weekends. All of this is done by public transportation, which is quite good in Costa Rica. My house rules include maintaining silence, keeping the house clean, not using hard drugs, not carrying weapons, and being a pet owner. You are not allowed to use high-powered electrical appliances because we have solar panels. You should not be bothered by the country life. It is important that you not bring visitors to my project.

    Volunteer Responsibilities
Carry out agreed tasks responsibly and with a positive attitude.
Respect established schedules and house rules.
Contribute to the cleanliness of the house and work areas.
Assist in meal preparation during designated times.
Keep personal living space clean and in good condition.
Communicate in advance any changes in plans, discomfort, or issues.
Respect internal rules of the property and platform policies.
