Dora and Kurt are a great couple. They bring a combination of life experience and knowledge in many areas of life and have many interesting stories to share. During their stay Kurt helped to build a juce bar from scratch and did a fabulous job while Dora was helping with the garden with great attention to detail and done an amazing job too. They are both easy going, respectful and are definitely recommended.

I had a wonderful time staying with Mandy in Perth. She kindly let me experience many activities such as fishing and bike riding, which made my stay truly special. The room was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Thanks to her, I was able to spend an amazing time in Perth. The service that Mandy offers is excellent and very attractive, and I am truly grateful for the valuable experience I had with her. Thank you so much, Mandy!

Su paso por el proyecto dejó una huella muy linda: acompañaron a los niños con atención y cariño, propusieron juegos y actividades creativas, y abrieron espacios para conocer su cultura catalana a través de talleres cuidados y significativos. Participaron activamente en los círculos de diálogo y en la vida cotidiana del proyecto, mostrando una gran capacidad para sostener al grupo con claridad, respeto y coherencia, equilibrando muy bien los límites con una relación cercana y horizontal. Supieron impulsar la iniciativa y la independencia de los niños desde una actitud amable y consciente. Estamos muy agradecidos por su entrega y los recomendamos con total confianza para cualquier proyecto educativo que valore el respeto, la escucha y el aprendizaje compartido. Rosie and Ethan are super cool people, and we thoroughly enjoyed having them stay. They looked after our home and dog for a week, and then spent another week with us at home. They are tidy, intuitive, and helpful by nature. I was super stoked that Ethan built me a bed base in my van, it looks great. It was great to see them bond with the kids and our dog, they were very missed after they'd left. All the best you two and I'm sure we'll see you again!

It was so energizing to enjoy time with you and help just a little with your incredible creative, resilient and awe inspiring lifestyle. I I so enjoyed helping with the different tasks all connected to nature and all very clearly explained. All the delicious food you provided was so much appreciated and your thoughtful support. As you know I totally loved the surrounds also, so tranquil and yet also very close to the lakes and all your amazing countryside. I felt so much at home and really recommend volunteering with Francisca, the cultural exchange and opportunity to enjoy such great company and surrounds was wonderful. Sam is a very reliable and trustworthy person. She is highly dedicated and consistently goes above and beyond her responsibilities. Even outside of her regular working hours, she was always attentive and proactive, often asking if there was anything she could help with. She is a very fast learner, adapts quickly, and delivers work with a quick turnaround. We’ve been genuinely happy to work with her. We wish her all the best 🦋

Nina is a really mature and super helpful individual who really made a difference here. She went out of her way to welcome people to the house, and she shows great responsabiliy. She got on well with everybody and always gave her best. Thanks Nina!!!

I had an amazing week experiencing rural life with this wonderful family. Larissa’s cooking was absolutely delicious every day, and sharing meals together around the table was truly special and unforgettable. Even though she was busy, she kindly took me hiking and made it such a fun experience. Hamish and Cameron showed me around the farm, let me watch sheep shearing, and explained so much about how the farm operates. It was fascinating and very educational. The house itself was very comfortable, with a lovely room and a beautiful garden. Most of the work I did was gardening, and Ann’s instructions were always clear, precise, and easy to follow. I already miss Morgan, their very friendly and lovable cat. Surrounded by warm-hearted people and stunning scenery, this is truly an incredible family and place to stay. I wish I could have stayed longer!

They joined to my Ger home life in 26-28th Ja. 2026 to meet Mongolian Ger home lifestyle of winter days and non meat food/meals cooking at home, also to inspire us by their life stories. Yes, their interest and steps into Ger home life made our 783rd hosting experience with walking with 20 cows, talking with bone and board games. We are sure, they will love to continue (it means develop) their ancestors best learning from nature, that is their tradition. See you again in your Mongolian family "1000th hosting" festival.

It was such a pleasure to host Noreen for a week. She communicated well, took responsibility for her tasks, and was respectful of the shared living space. Noreen is an excellent cook and makes sure to conserve and use all ingredients. She was trustworthy and a pleasant housemate for me and my kid. I would welcome her back again and highly recommend her to others!

Lene was an amazing Workaway volunteer and a real pleasure to have with us. She has a very kind spirit and a calm, positive energy that makes her wonderful to be around every day. She was always helpful, reliable, and willing to jump in whenever help was needed. We truly appreciated that she didn’t need much direction and was happy to support whatever task was happening at the time. One special highlight was her help in building a volleyball area for everyone to enjoy. She worked hard, contributed fully, and helped create something that will be enjoyed by many people. Lene is respectful, easygoing, and brings great energy to any place she stays. We hope she has incredible adventures traveling throughout Southeast Asia, and we are sure any future host will be very happy to have her. We would gladly host her again and highly recommend her to other Workaway hosts.

Estuvimos dos semanas con Luz en su preciosa finca y fue una experiencia maravillosa. Desde el primer momento quedamos ensimismados con la casa y el entorno, que parecen sacados de un cuento de hadas. En la finca estuvimos ayudando deshierbando la huerta, cuidando y alimentando a los preciosos animales (sobretodo a 3 pequeños gatitos que nos robaron el corazón) y otras pequeñas tareas que iban surgiendo. El trabajo era tranquilo y divertido, el entorno precioso y la compañía y las conversaciones con Luz durante las comidas super interesantes y cálidas. Recomendamos totalmente la experiencia. Muchas gracias Luz por acogernos en tu casa y hacernos sentir tan cómodos:)

We had the absolute best time with Luiz on his stunning nature reserve. It was a week in paradise and we were so sad to leave, we wish we could’ve stayed longer. Luiz is the most incredibly kind, funny, generous and welcoming host. He showed us so much of the nature reserve: his amazing garden full of fruit trees, a nearby waterfall where we went for a fantastic swim, and the local area where we went for many walks, learning about the different plants, trees and wildlife in this incredibly biodiverse place. We enjoyed so many fresh mangos and meals made with vegetables from the garden - Luiz is an exceptional chef and we miss his fantastic dinners and our long chats about life already! We felt at home immediately and can’t wait to come back one day to visit again. Would highly recommend coming to stay, you will have a relaxing and educational time with the best company in a magical place!

We spent 3 weeks with Kirsten and loved it! She had a beautiful home and the best food. The work was entirely fair and enjoyable. We learned so much that we will be taking back into our lives.

Overall my experience with Anna and Patrick was very good. The house was very nice and cozy, surrounded by nature and quiet. I had my private bedroom and bathroom. The food was always delicious and everything was homemade, from cheese to meat, from yoghurt to bread and more. The work was approximately 3/4 hours per day and it was interesting and quite various (collecting the leaves and the apples, working in the vegetable garden, cleaning the stable, moving branches and much more), the relaxing time was more than enough and I enjoyed a couple of times a nice ride by bike exploring the area around and several times a walk around. It was also nice go to the local market with Anna, see together a theatre show, meeting their nice and numerous friends , their nice and friendly neighbour and their funny and smart grandson! The only negative thing is that over the last few days something with Anna didn't work greatly, maybe because of a misunderstanding or something like that...

I had a wonderful experience at Anita's house. She is so kind and friendly. I really enjoyed discovering her daily life with her friends and family. I cooked for lunch and did some meal prep for her family. The kitchen is fully equiped and she supplies all the food I needed. I had afternoon free to discover the city. Buses are really close so it's easy to get to the city center. I definitely recommand this volunteering experience with Anita and I hope to come back there one day !

WOW, we’re so grateful that Paty came all the way from Germany to our farm. She’s a beautiful soul who helped in every way.. always with a smile. She brought fresh energy and new ideas to our project. Thank you so much for helping us with our new llamas! They’re definitely going to miss you… and so will we. I stayed with this host family for three weeks and it was a truly enriching experience. I helped teach English to the Hyeing and her two children (ages 4 and 1.5) The family was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the start. Hyeing was motivated and open to learning, and it was rewarding to see her confidence grow. The children were sweet and full of energy—our English time was mostly through games, songs, and everyday activities, which made it fun and natural for them. Living together for three weeks allowed for a real cultural exchange, not just teaching but also sharing routines, meals, and conversations. I felt respected and appreciated, and communication was always kind and clear. I’m very grateful for this experience and would recommend this host family to anyone looking for a genuine, family-oriented cultural exchange with young children.
