We were lucky to have Natalie stay for the first week of her New Zealand trip. She resisted the expected jet lag and got straight into her work. Natalie’s experience back home doing real physical work has given her good work ethic. She is confident, uncomplicated, fun and easy to get on with. We would happily have her back!

I had a wicked time with Grant and Judy, both very generous and charismatic individuals. The work was very straightforward and not overbearing at all. I really appreciated Grant and Judy carting me all around town after getting done with work to do some bush walks and waterfall sightseeing (all out which managed to end at the Plough and Feather

We thought we were looking for an au pair for our doggy but with Alina we got a great deal more! Alina is a thoroughly organised young lady who brought energy and enthusiasm to the rather mundane tasks on offer. She and Sage the labrador formed a nice bond and I swear the dog shed a tear when Alina had to say goodbye :)
She's talented and smart -

Alina will not disappoint :)

I stayed at Grant and Judy’s place for two weeks and after this special fortnight it was hard for me to leave as both of them are very generous, friendly and caring people! Especially as a young woman there’s no better place to stay at! Grant and Judy won’t only give you advises for your further trip but also treat you as if you were a family
… read more member! I always looked forward to help Judy with tea preparations as she is an amazing cook from my point of view!! You’ll love to walk and entertain their well behaved, friendly and very cute dog Sage!
I felt so privileged to stay with them as they also showed me around town and included me in their daily life by letting me watch a rugby game with them and taking me out for tea!!
I’ll not only miss but won’t forget all of them for letting me feel like home!!
All in all I can only recommend staying at their beautiful place if you’ll love spending time in nature, caring about a lovely dog, having nice conversations and living a lovely as well as friendly family life!!
This was my favorite work-away experience ever! I'm extremely grateful for all your effort and kindness! <3 First of all, Judy and Gayle are super fun & cool and full of love with great empathetic skills. They did take care of every little detail of my staying with them! The food was more than delish, thanks Judy for teaching me how to cook all
… read more these yum recipes! I miss this food so badly! Secondly, the house which was offered to me was super comfy, cozy and pretty! I did appreciate having my own private space! Also, it was beautiful scenery between gumtrees and by the river where I loved walking Sage - her gorgeous and clever dog. Furthermore, the whole experience was exciting as they showed me the best places around Northland including going on the boat in the Bay of Islands with them. This day was such a treat and such a peaceful day, ah! Also, they lent me their car which was fantastic as I was able to get to Cape Reinga and see other stunning spots nearby. What about the work? Well, I've received the list with the tasks to do which was great as whenever I get tired of smth I could easily start another thing. I've been working mainly in the garden - nothing too difficult. But hey, walking the dog was included in the working hours. Honestly, I've got the best time ever and truly thank you for all!! <3 I miss you and wish you all the best! <3Feedback

Emilie arrived at our place straight after a long-haul flight and got to work with no sign of jet-lag! She is mature for her 21 years – a self starter and diligent worker. That showed when she stuck at some pretty mundane tasks and finished them well.
She is exactly the person described in her profile. We found her pleasant company and got in to

I'm happy to recommend Emilie to all hosts!

I had such an amazing experience staying with Grant and Judy and their dog Sage! This was my first Workaway and it was better than I could have ever imagined. They welcomed me and made me feel at home. Grant knows a lot about New Zealand history and culture, and Judy's cooking is delicious! Sage is such a sweet and smart dog.
They took me out on

The work was clear and easy. I had an amazing time and wished I could stay longer. I will definitely miss them all.You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
