    Description

***The Project is closed from March- May 2024 . We will be reopening from the beginning of June 2024, accepting workawayers for that period until the end of February.***

    ***Important Please read***

We appreciate all the messages. Please understand we are currently overwhelmed with workaway applications, 3+ per day. At the moment our project is full until february. And so, we will only be accepting last minute workawayers upon discretion of availability at that time. Please do not apply for red months, we have dozens of last minute workawayers in line for those periods.

    Thank you,
    Isaac and Kleaw

    ***

Our names are Kleaw and Isaac. My family and I own this land, creating a natural building project using resources from our local Thai community. We are located near Baan Tin That village (5 km away from Pai in the direction of Chiang Mai, Thailand).

We teach people to build with local and eco-friendly materials in the form of earth brick, earth bag, cobb, and preserved bamboo. Our goal is to share our knowledge and create awareness. So that together we can change the current idea of non eco-friendly and expensive ways of construction. Our dream is to have 10 small unique natural buildings on the surrounding property which provides as much organic food and sustainable life as possible.

We would love to have people come over and share sustainable experiences with each other. We love to collaborate new ideas and creative minds to make mud art sculptures, beautiful buildings, and gardens. You do not need to have many skills to apply and only an open heart and positive attitude. We are an intentional community and want to keep a quiet relaxing presence with a supportive atmosphere so you can absorb the magic of Northern Thailand.

***Please only apply if you are ready to live a simple and healthy lifestyle in a small community. We are looking for people who want to live in an intentional way with the earth, respectful to everyone, and are open to learning new skills. Anyone who is accepted to join this community will undergo a trial period of 3 days and we will decide if it is a good fit.***

  • What else ...

    What else ...

    Our farm
After building my house I just couldn’t believe that I actually did it. I built my dream house with my own bare hands, and every day when I woke up I felt great about it. I then decided I wanted to help other people make their dream houses as well. That’s when I began building an education center in natural building and living. After 2 years I am ready to show people how to build in a natural and cost friendly way!

Pai in the Mae Hong Son province has become increasingly popular among tourists over the last 10 years, however it still remains a unique place for people who love nature.
Pai is a small valley about 6 x 30 km across surrounded by hundreds of kilometers of mountains.
There are many waterfalls, hot springs, viewpoints, and canyons. Also a beautiful cave an hour drive away from Pai next to the village Bann tin that. Pai is known as a hippy place for its chill atmosphere, music, and art, and there are plenty of things to do at night too!

    How to get to us!
Minivan from Chiang Mai to Pai
The minivan from Chiang Mai to Pai can be bought in Chiang Mai at the Arcade Bus Station.
It costs 150 baht per person and the drive takes about 3 hours. It’s an extremely curvy road through the mountains so for anyone who gets car sick, it’s advised to buy motion sickness pills at a 7/11.
